open lockscreen notifications with double tap - Samsung Galaxy S10 Questions & Answers

i just bought a galaxy s10 and the lockscreen notification are different from the way my pixel 2 handled notifications. the s10 requires me to tap the notification once then use fingerprint to open it. i would prefer having to double tap the notification i want to open and then have the phone prompt me to unlock because this is what i am used to. Also, the single tap notification requires me to use my fingerprint, but sometimes it is more convenient for me to use a pin to unlock to view the notification. is there is way to change this in the setting?

Lock screen notification

Hi, is there any way to control what notifications appear on the lock screen? It's now either show or don't show at all (without a password).
Basically what I'd like is for notifications icons to still show on the lock screen status bar, but not show the notifications on the lock screen itself. I used to be able to do this on Kitkat.
On that note, any way to add lockscreen widgets?
Thanks.
Anyone?
Do you want to hide the notification information? You can check the option for "hide sensitive notification content" and it will just show the application name. I don't know how the phone decides what is sensitive, but you can also block notification content on a per-app basis. The results would look like the image below. The lockscreen statusbar is not meant to hold notifications. You can change the lockscreen to something else, but widgets seem to have vanished.

AntiTheft Guide: Control and unlock your phone (op7pro) ANYWHERE

Want to control your phone remotely? Even if it's locked? Especially if it gets stolen, or just lost? I think this guide is the best way to do it, for now.
Requirements: Poweron schedule and power on alarm (in case of theft and to not notify a thief, i have alarm on silent)
edxposed and xposed edge pro (of which requires magisk and root, duh)
airmirror and airdroid
A lock screen set by pin, password, or even pattern.
Airmirror is used to control your device remotely; it can be used from the web or the app. Airdroid is to be installed and configured on the device you wish to control. I recommend you use systemize (magisk module) to systemize airdroid; it seems to make airdroid more responsive. As for configuring airdroid, please make sure you can actually control your phone first, and that you don't get the popup for screen casting (otherwise you cannot control phone remotely)
Configure the bootup trigger (in more triggers section) in xposed edge pro to turn on wifi/data, which is required to use airdroid/airmirror. Also, i would recommend you to set for the sms recieved trigger action to open airdroid.
Finally, with xposed edge pro, here comes the vital part to unlock your phone wirelessly.
First you must gesture recording; for now set it to record on a volume key. Lock the phone. Call the device. The call will always wake the device up, and as soon as that happens start the gesture recording. Dismiss the call, swipe and enter your code. End the gesture recording. Now go back to more triggers.
For the incoming call ringed trigger, select multi-action. First action is delay, set it to 2500ms. Second action is gesture inject, for the gesture you've just made.
Now, be sure your gesture actually works. Lock the screen and make a call to it. If your gesture succeeds, the call should be dismissed and the code entered. If not, just keep trying until you get it right. If you have the sms recieved trigger to open airdroid, send a text message to open airdroid. From this point on, open airmirror then control your device to do whatever.
airdroid seems to work as long as you have internet connectivity, and even though it has a data cap, using airdroid to control your screen uses very little data. Be sure to test multiple times, and after several reboots for maximum reliability.
If this guide actually gets attention, I will make it more clear, and more steps to be optimal.

Is there a mod that activates face unlock without swipe up?

Is there a mod that would enable face unlock then you press the button on the side/phone gets picked up without obscuring proximity sensor or if i tap on notification on the lockscreen? Without swipe up or tapping on face icon on top of the screen?

Double tapping a notification from lock screen does not open it. Help?

I cannot open a notification or message from double tapping it on the lock screen. I have searched through all of the settings and Google to no avail.
Is there any way I can do this on this phone? I have the T-Mobile variant and received it on the 2nd of this month. I do not have any kind of password or verification besides swiping to get past my lock screen. It is making me despise this phone because my OnePlus 6t allowed me to do that out of the box. It is also making me regret not waiting for the OnePlus 8t.
For the record, I am a lazy American, but I do not want to have to swipe to unlock my phone, then swipe the drawer down to click on a message every time I want to respond.
When you tap the notification one time, it should highlight the message, then you should be able to swipe on the lockscreen to open the highlighted app. Give that a shot and see if it works.
I have fingerprint authentication active on my device, and I just tap the notification once, then use the fingerprint sensor to go straight to the app.

Question Turning off notification based on category

When I upgraded from the note 20 ultra, there is one thing I missed and I don't know how I got it in the first place. Being able to turn off specific notification based on their notification.
It was easy, a specific notification would happen, I would go to the notification bar and then tap the app, notification, tap the notification then settings and then it would automatically go to the right notification category and highlight it so I knew which one it was.
Now the phone just stops at notification so now when I manually go to notification category, I don't know which one to choose
