I'm looking for a way to downgrade my Honor 9 lite to a pre July 2018 firmware.
I have the Android 8 with April 2019 security patch, but need to downgrade to use DC Unlocker to unlock my bootrom.

I have exactly the same question. Nobody has the original rom from the launch in december 2017?

Edit: for security patch with January 2018, find this firmware: HUAWEI HONOR 9 LITE LLD-L31 LELAND-L31A 8.0.0.122(C10) FIRMWARE ANDROID8.0.0 EMUI8.0.0 05014WYT.ZIP
I succesful unlocked the bootloader with DC unlocker after I flashed this one

I tried Firmware Finder and found few more update but can`t install them

If your phone is fully stock, and I mean FULLY then you should have received some OTA updates.
That is assuming you phone is C432, Europe variant.

In UK

October 1st security patch
In Ireland,

With Nav. Gestures.

Normally in the UK the OTA for LLD-L31C432 at least with EE Sim comes 1 month after its released on Firmware Finder.
Not sure why as i bought the phone retail unlocked.

Yeah, funny that, though I have to say I find most mobile phones tend to work better with a sim in them.
I have a Huawei P 10 (chinese model) that is currently running VTR-AL00C00B369 (8.0.0.369) which is still on the November 2018 security patch. I would like to update to VTR-AL00C00B372 (8.0.0.372) which is a January 2019 security update. The problem is my device is not approved in Firmware Finder so I was wondering if there is anything I can do to update this manually.
My bootloader is locked and I don't really need/want it unlocked. Thank you for any/all help...it is greatly appreciated!

Why does it take so long for some devices to be "approved"? There have been many updates for my model released and I'm still stuck on Nov 2018 patches.

at present im on version 8.0.0.197 which was april 2019 security patch
now i need to downgrade to lower version i.e. version 8.0.0.181 which was prejuly 2018 security patch
so that i can unlock my bootloader
i tried downloading the files from firmware finder anf tried dload but it fails
i cant able to find required firmware from androidhost.ru

Hello. I'm searching for a way to downgrade my p10. My current version is 8.0.0.386(C432) march 2019. I need to find a way to downgrade to may 2018 patch (or everything lower than 2018 june patch) or to rollback to android nougat, i've already tried with firmware finder but it can only update the phone to 9.
