Stuck on "Your device is booting now..." - Huawei P9 Plus Questions & Answers

Good Morning, I tried to install OpenKirin OminROM Pie Alpha 6.2 and I followed all the procedure that is on the openkirin site but when I try to wipe data with the recovery it fails... An exclamation point appears replacing the EMUI logo. What can I do? Before that, following an online guide because I couldn't read the internal storage, I changed the data file system to EXT4 with twrp, is this the problem? What can I do?

Manually reboot the device. Press and hold power until the screen goes dark. Release the power button then press volume down button. The device should boot to the normal boot screen and become "unstuck".

Honor 5c stuck in 'Your device is booting now...'

I had tried to factory reset my device, through twrp recovery, by going into advanced settings and checking all of the boxes that were there. Afterwards, I had tried to turn on my phone but was greeted with this message:
Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted
To learn more, visit: (random website)
(1) Press power key top continue
(2) Press Volume up key to enter erecovery
(3) Your device will continue to boot if htere is no action taken
Your device is booting now...
Basically, i tried to restore it from erecovery, but it there is an error when downloading the package info, and it has been stuck on the 'your device is booting now...' screen for a couple hours now.
Any idea how to fix this?
if you tick system twrp will delete your system.

Install the stock rom by dload method. If u were on Emui 5, then rollback to 4.1 through rollback package of ur model, then install4.1 rom.
OP,i can help u with this

Can't access TWRP even though it's installed, loads huawei recovery instead of twrp.

Hi guys,
My firmware is stuck on emui 4.1 and I'm trying to install a custom Rom.
Bootloader unlocked fine
adb worked fine
I've flashed twrp
However, whenever I try to reboot I get the "your phone can't be trusted" boot recovery screen instead of TWRP, so I can't root.
I've tried power and up, power and down, and power and up and down.
They either go to the recovery option screen, then boot like normal, or hangs on the normal boot screen
Any suggestions
Things repeated several times elswhere.
1. Your phone cannot be trusted because you unlocked the bootloader. If you don't like it, re-lock bootloader ;-(
2. Upon flashing TWRP, FIRST THING YOU MUST DO is rebooting to TWRP. If you don't do that, stock Recovery will ovewrite TWRP.
Find instructions in the TWRP threads how to enforce immediate booting to TWRP, upon you flashed it:
-Type on the PC: fastboot reboot -but don't press Enter yet.
-Press and keep pressing Vol+ and Power buttons together on the phone
-Press Enter on the PC and then immediately unplug USB cabel.
-When phone shows Booting, release Power but keep pressing Vol+. button

Can't boot up phone with magisk installed (s10+)

Android 10 newest version.
So I installed magisk and everything went fine.
But when i switch off my device and turn it on I cant boot it up. It's stuck on the splash screen (turns on, splash screen, warning screen, splash screen) and keeps repeating. i cant boot into recovery either.
From what i read to boot into magisk on a s10+ you have to hold bixby+volume up+power, and to boot into recovery press those three, but when you see the second splash screen let go of the bixby button and keep holding the power+volume up.
I have flashed TWRP through the official twrp app, and maybe that's the problem? Maybe i don't know when to press those button combinations, but i have tried quite a few time and i just cant move past the second splash screen.
Please help.

I can however boot into download (odin) mode by pressing the volume down+bixby and connecting to my pc.
try to reflash twrp . but using twrp from @ianmacd and flash using odin.
put ianmacd's twrp .IMG into .TAR using 7zip and flash Odin as AP @Bluetinity custom twrp is better than official ?

Question Flashed custom rom, phone reboots into twrp and now i'm stuck

Flashed my Note 11 which was on Android 11 by twrp 3.6.1. When the install was done i rebooted and the phone reboots into twrp. What can i do next?
Edit: it now only boots into fastboot, regardless if i only press just the power button or the power button + volume down.
New attempts: the custom rom zip file on the phone is disappeared so i have to use ADB sideload to flash the rom by the pc. When the process is done i get the following error, see picture.
Did "format data" in twrp and it boots now normally.

Sm-G935W8: Can't install TWRP and root?

Greetings
Thanks in advance
I tried following this video to install TWRP and root:
I used ODIN as they suggested and it says it completed the flash.
I followed directions and tried to get into TWRP but it shows "no command" after "installing system updates" after holding down power up + power + home button
I can sometimes get into the menu where it asks to wipe cache etc but it does not go into TWRP and gives error saying it can't find something. I assume this is because of TWRP not loading?
Any idea how to get this flashed with TWRP?
Here are screen shots from the recovery mode I got into.
Looks like it can't find thew TWRP?
Looks like this issue?
now when I turn the phone on it goes into "installing system update" and goes to blue screen with "no command" dead android icon.
it used to boot into the OS but now it does not? It's like bricked now?
I went back into recovery and reset factory image and it boots back into the OS now.. so its not bricke.d.
But still it wont do the above and install TWRP
