Help! Your device has loaded a different operating system.
I downloaded an EMUI 10 ROM (VOG-L09) from https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p30-pro/how-to/ready-emui-10-c431-dload-version-t4008639.
And install through *#*#2846597#*#*.
I forgot to cache clear...:crying::crying::crying:
and I got this P30 Pro from New Zealand, the model is VOG-L09 as shown on the box. I am not sure the version correct?
I downloaded "Huawei P30 Pro VOG-L09 hw eea HLRCF VOGUE-L09C 9.1.0.161(C431E4R2P2) Firmware 9.0.0 r3 EMUI9.0.1 05015TKC [androidhost.ru].zip" and did not work as well.
Can not use wifi to recovery.
Does anyone can help me?

Hi m8, can you please tell me what version and cust is now on your device, in order to help you reviving your device? Use Fastboot in order to find out what version and cust you're on. For how to, please check this link and use the following commands:
fastboot oem get-build-number
and press enter button
This command checks the version, cust and actual firmware of your phone.

After you will get your info about your version and cust (ex. VOG-L09 C185), head over to my thread and download the firmware matching your phone's needs.

Ok, so your device is VOG-L09 C636. I've searched for a firmware for your device, but the only one available was for VOG-L29 C636 and you can't use it, because it will get you still softbricked. ATM, i'm affraid you will have to wait for a Huawei release of a dload firmware for VOG-L09 C636 cust. You can't downgrade, because that is done only with HiSuite PC version and if you enter eRecovery it will fail, because EMUI 10 wasn't released for your device.
You might have a chance by taking it to Huawei Service Center and tell them it got in this state whille trying to get updated by itself, using OTA (Over The Air updates), maybe they will change your phone's motherboard free of charge

That firmware is legit, but it's unusable for you, because can't be used to downgrade from EMUI 10 to EMUI 9.1. The only way to downgrade is by using HISuite PC and having a working phone with HiSuite app installed. In order to revive your phone, you need an EMUI 10 dload firmware (as the same you've linked) for your cust (VOG-L09 C636).

Dual SIM got the update and i have it too on my thread for flashing (v10.0.0.178), single SIM (VOG-L09) don't have a clue.

Even if it is softbricked atm, you can try to flash the firmware i've told you in my previous post. Download it, copy the dload folder to your OTG memory stick, Power OFF phone, then press POWER+VOLUME UP buttons and keep them pressed untill you see Huawei on screen. Release the POWER button and keep pressing VOLUME UP untill you are in eRecovery menu, then release button. When in menu, select Update mode, then select Memory card/OTG update mode and it should start the update.
Maybe you're in luck and that version will revive your device.
If not, then you will have to wait for VOG-L09 C636 dload firmware or even change motherboard, as you said previously.

Bad luck .
It's clear now, you'll will have to wait for VOG-L09 C636 dload firmware or even change motherboard, if you can do it no charge at Huawei Service Center, as you said previously (otherwise i know it's somewhere ~300$, quite expensive).
Anyway, i will let you know when a VOG-L09 C636 dload firmware will be available

This a guide to unlock your bootloader on a Huawei Ascend P7-L10.
After a long search on the web i finaly found a way to do this .
This will also remove T-Mobile apps an bootimage (JUNK) from your phone.:victory:
1. Download the .zip file (B121): https://mega.co.nz/#!j8ZyjBQL!6SH2_Yd44B0vfOKX3WhqCkvhJ4fX-AIows0vCNQtX44
or download the B126 her http://dl.huaweinews.com/Roms/Ascend-P7/HUAWEI%20P7-L10%20V100R001C00B126.zip
2. Unpack the zip file.
3. Copy the "dload" map to the root of you phone.
4. Go to settings -> Updates -> Systemupdates -> Local update.
5. Back-up your phone and Install the update and you phone will have a unlocked bootloader:victory:
After this you can easly install TWRP on you Huawei Ascend P7-L10, so you dont have to ROOT your phone with some chinees root program.
Link to the TWRP threath: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p6/orig-development/recovery-t2811965
Can you add little more information It's because B121 and B126 have already unlocked bootloader, so it doesn't matter which one you use to update Those are both official firmwares so if you brick your phone updating with B121 or B126 warranty should cover it. Someone wiser can correct me if there is wrong info

Hi! If you flash original firmware (update app) it will lock bootloader (some of the firmwares have already unlocked bootloader) And yes, the update.app will also intstall all apps back.

It is a multilanguage ROM.
After installing in your language it is up to you to remove the chinese apps. You can do so after rooting the phone with different apps from the market.
Good luck!

First I flashed the firmware with unlocked bootloader, e.g. P7-L00_EMUI_2.3_V100R001C17B121SP01
Put the "update.app" to "dload" folder , then save the folder to SD card (external storage)
Power off the phone, then press the power button ,volume up and down together ,and hold them until the phone starts updating the Firmware
Install the Hisuite software to your Computer
Connect the phone with the computer and have it install the Hisuite-drivers to the phone until there is a Hisuite-connection between the phone and the computer.
From your comupter root the phone with the RootGenius-Tool 1.9.6, this ends in rebooting the phone.
Set up the phone.
From then on have the phone doing the OTA-Updates to the latest firmware.
This worked for me.
If you do, you will do it at your own risk!
I am not responsible If you brick your phone.
Good luck

But if you use a root tool like vroot thats unlock and root your phone.

How do I know ??
How do I know if my p-7 has the unblocked bootloader???? Where can I check this ???

Nougat update borked my P9 - I now have 2 IMEIs

Weird... I got fed up waiting for the beta so flashed a ROM and it all went pear shaped.
After days of reflashing I finally got a Nougat ROM that almost works. I'm without camera and bluetooth like others here but I have no way of flashing the hw_euro zip as I cannot install TWRP. Fastboot mode says unlocked for phone and frp and has one IMEI number but the phone isn't unlocked.
When I boot up I get a different IMEI in settings and I have no way of getting to 'manufacture mode' as *#.... code doesn't work.
My build number is now 'NRD90M test-keys'
I assume there's no other way of flashing the hw zip? Is there any way out???

Maybe try everything again. Flash Rollback package and check if everything is ok.
But wait. How it's possible that you are unable to flash hw package? Dload doesn't see this package or what?
Thanks for responding. How would you flash the separate HW (update_full_hw_eu) file in dload? I thought it was TWRP only?
In other thread someone wrote how to do it.
Download these to zips: update.zip and update_full_hw_eu.zip
Unpack update.zip to dload folder and move hw zip to other folder. Then turn off your phone and enter dload mode - your phone will install update.zip
Then, when your phone boot up, delete all files from dload folder and unpack update_full_hw_eu.zip and move these files to dload folder. Turn off your phone and boot into dload. It'll install everything
Thanks but I get "Software install failed' at the 5% mark.

Failure. Are you sure that the HW package can be installed outside of TWRP??? I was certain it's otherwise. I would love to get my bluetooth back...

Thanks. I now have a functioning *182 phone. The weird thing is there's still a Jekyll/Hyde thing going on. In settings the firmware is EVA-L09C432B182 though in DC Unlocker it is listed as EVA-C900B182 and I still have two IMEIs (and the 2 unlocker codes - one for each IMEI - do not work at all).
For everyone struggling to get the beta to work with twrp, the proper way to do it is to:
1) First of all, make sure you are flashing the right TWRP version. While browsing through numerous topics on this forum I've stumbled upon at the least two different versions, both of which worked and allowed me to run the l09 b322 beta successfully, but doing so with the earlier version resulted in no camera, bluetooth and other issues, while using the correct one I've got myself a perfectly fine nougat I'm happily using today. The correct one is 3.0.2.0 with encryption support
2) secondly, you need to be perfectly sure you are flashing the correct version, made strictly for your device, possibly downloaded from the Huawei servers. I believe both L09 and L19 ROMs can be flashed regardless of the device, but may not work properly, eg. the NFC problems etc. Also remember, there are always two zip's - the main update and the apps package (so-called EU package), which have to be flashed at the same time, because after you boot the system the TWRP will no longer be accessible.
3) about that TWRP and root - afaik, there is no perfectly working Nougat version, so after updating to beta you will not be rooted.
4) be prepared for the bad case scenario and get the rollback package + the stock marshmallow firmware version. That small update.app included in the package will sorta unlock the rollback possibility and will allow you to flash the stock ROM. One important thing here is that because you have no TWRP at this moment (see point 2) the flashing is done via the dload method - place the update.app in the 'dload' folder on the root of your external SD card, turn off the phone and turn it on by holding vol +, vol - and power button which will start the update process. After it's done, the system will boot up - unpack the stock firmware zip, find the update.app, copy it to 'dload' folder, power off and power on with the above-mentioned combination - congrats, you are back to the stock ROM with locked bootloader and may start over with the TWRP and so on.
OFC that's the way it worked for me and im just sharing the info - not responsible if it goes wrong
Help Please!!!!

Yes when I used both Rollbacks
First I tried roll back from Huawei Pakistan Site C185 rollback
Kept it in dload powered it on pressing all three buttons and got the
Incompatible with current version error
Then I tried the rollback in OP's Link well that worked
But after that the C185B181 FW gave same error by same method
Although it couldnt find FW from internal storage so I was using 64GB Samsung Evo+

I'm not sure if it works with hstool. It may be for lya-l29 but it worked on my lya-l09 no problems.
LYA-L29 9.1.0.300 C185 dload.
It's base seems to flash right on any region (C432, C636...) and seems to achieve a proper upgrade to 9.1. -should also work on L09 devices.
But I don't think cust's and preload's zip are even flashing when not with a C185 hw/mneaf oeminfo.

Oh no lol I'm glad it's working great for you. Your welcome
Can you please create a dload version for mate 20x , 9.1.1.118 or 91.1.123 ?
No.
dload firmwares aka service firmwares aka offline firmwares
are told to be different from
Hicloud firmwares aka online firmwares aka FirmwareFinder's firmwares.
But there maybe a way, things is no one tryed, succeed, or told about it.
Sorry but will this work on a Canadian variant LYA-L0C? L29 is the filename of firmware I've flashed before
Any links to one you can flash with EMUI Flasher yet?
Let's give a try (will try root too)
Thanks for your sharing !
Just flashed successfully on LYA-L0C Canadian variant.
Sat verifying for a second but worked with usb otg.
Thanks OP ?
My phone just reboots, does not apply the update. Maybe the download was bad. Anyone have the MD5 hash for the files that were successful so I can compare?
Has anyone tried the 9.1 download? and if I upgrade to a newer version of the android for 9.1 I can go back to 9.0 with dload?
Thanks!
Worked great on my LYA-L29 (C432E10R1P16)

P30 PRO L29. v 9.1.0.241

Hello,
I'm new in forum. Hello everybody.
I have a doubt. I live in Spain but I'm not sure if my sw version is appropriate to my region because other colleagues don't have the same 9.1 version.
I currently have the EMUI 9.1.0.241 (C461E4R1P5patch02) GPU Turbo.
I am not able to receive update to EMUI 10.
Have I the correct sw EMUI version for Spain? Can I do anything to swap to the correct version?
Best regards

Hi m8,
Maybe your friends have C431 or C432 phone custs rather then your, C461. But that's ok, if you want to update to EMUI 10, you can download your firmware version from here - HUAWEI P30 PRO VOG-L29 HW CEA VOGUE-L29C 10.0.0.173(C461) (it's faster from your phone rather PC) and using an OTG adapter or OTG Cable or an Huawei NM Card you can have EMUI 10. Read and follow my guide from here.
Feel free to ask if you have more questions.
Silviuo
Thanks very much.
Could you tell me the difference between C341-C342 and C461?
I should investigate if my current version fits me or not before making any change (I wouldn't like to make a full new installation from zero because I don't like make backups)

C431 - European cust and mostly used by carriers to add their customised software
C432 - International and European cust
C461 - European, Middle East and Africa version
C431&C432 have country vendor as EEA, or the European Economic Area, combines the member countries of the European Union (EU) (it was made to be sold in EU).
C461 has country vendor as EMEA, which is a shorthand designation meaning Europe, the Middle East and Africa (IT was made to be sold in Europe, the Middle East or Africa).
If you want to see for what countries it was made your phone you need to type in dialer *#*#2846579#*#* then Network info-on query>Country Vendor Info>Vendor (it will surelly be EMEA and not EEA as mine is - VOG-L29 C431-, as shown in picture bellow)
It's not a problem if you have an C461 device, you still get updates and can be used on any european carrier.

CEA = Central Europe Africa, so it's ok to use it.
C461 has allready got EMUi 10, as i sent you the link for it, but it may take a whille untill it hits your device. The advantage of using dload firmware is that you don't have to wait for OTA from Huawei (just backup stuffs with HiSuite and personal stuffs on PC and then flash that firmware) or from HiSuite and install when you want. And yes, it will receive firmwares as C431 or C432, but after those 2 got them (it's a delay from Huawei, it could take a month or 2, depending on how Huawei pushes the update)

Hi m8,
Short answer is NO, because it might get softbricked and you don't have a doco dload firmware to use in order to downgrade to previous firmware on your device.
Flashing another device cust firmware was working well whille on EMUI 9.1 and users could flash the international dload firmware version (VOG-L29 C432 one) without the risk of getting softbricked. Once EMUI 10 was released, a lot of users got their devices softbricked, because of security changes inside kernel and within system itself. Some of them managed to revived their units using different methods or when Huawei released the firmware for their devices, but there are still many of those who are waiting for an dload firmware release for their custs.
So my advice is to wait for docomo to release the update and don't flash VOG-L29 C432 dload firmware on your device (or you could do it knowing the risks and assuming them). Untill today, no user from docomo tested if flashing C432 will work, because of the chances of getting a softbrick.

Hi m8,
I will answer for both posts :
1. YES, you can remove them using ADB commands. For how to remove, check my thread from here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...w-to-remove-huawei-bloatware-vog-ele-t4014937
For finding out the name of the app you need to remove from your phone, install this app and use the original name of the apk's you need to remove (select app and press details) - https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/jumobile/system-app-remover-root/system-app-remover-root-7-1-release/
2. When you say you have the original firmware from docomo, what do you mean by that? Is it the dload firmware that can be flashed using an OTG adapter+memory stick (or Huawei NMCard) or some other firmware? As my knowledge, if you flash an EMUI 10 firmware and got softbricked device, YOU won't be able to downgrade to EMUI 9.1, just using a proper dload firmware (in your case the one released by docomo) could revive your phone. So in your case, i would wait for them to release the update ?
Let me know how can i help you more and be safe

For the dialer you can use the default Google Phone app and Google Contacts, maybe there are closer than what you're used to ?.
NO, you cant modify the firmware prior flashing it. If you / all of us could unlock bootloader and rooted our devices + installed TWRP on our Huawei phones, you could have flashed a custom ROM or remove/adding using ROOT ANY apps you would like. But as we can't unlock our bootloaders anymore, we have to use EMUI as is, customised by docomo or other provider. Only way to have a clean firmware is by getting an international or Chinese version of the device, one with C431 / C432 or AL-00 cust .
Installing other firmware COULD get you a softbricked device. I say could because nobody has yet tested flashing an C432/C431 cust firmware on the Japanese DoCoMo phones .

Ok, post some SS here (if you can't add them to imgur or to GDrive/Mega or other cloud service) so i can take a look at them and see what you have now.

If your device is a P30 Pro Single SIM HW-02L (VOG-L0J) with Build ID : VOG-L0J 9.1.0.136(C341E136R1P2), then this firmaware is your original one https://easy-firmware.com/index.php?a=downloads&b=tags&tag=Huawei+VOG-L0J
Pay attention that in order to download that firmware you will need a paid account on their site

Ouch, i've replied you earlier about your firmware in case of backup, but it seems that you have a higher release version than the one available on easy-firmware.com (they have VOGUE-L0JB 9.1.0.136(C341E136R1P2) whille you have on your device v9.1.0.182(C341E136R1P2). So in case of flashing a C432 firmware on your device and get a softbrick, you are unable to return to latest available for your device. And as i've seen in your SS, there might be some problems regardless LTE basebands, which may be different in Japanese device vs European (International version).
So i would reccomend you to wait, maybe your next 1-2 firmware updates will bring you EMUI 10, alongside March/April security patches, as now you have January 1st 2020 on it ?

hi , dear SilviuO
unfortunately i haven't read this thread earlier.
I had upgraded my VOG-L0J to VOG-L29 10.1.0.151(C431E19) by using hisuite proxy .
at first , it looks perfect. until I executed factory reset.
now, almost google app are gone because of google play protect failen.
I tried to change to some other firmwares with hisuite proxy , all failed on installing step.
can you give me some advice for this situation?
thank you.

Hi there, m8. If you would asked me before?, i would recomend you to stay on your actual version... But now it's too late, so you will have to try using the GMS methods to install & use Google Services on your device.
I would also reccomend you to use a dload firmware to get back to your original cust, but there's no EMUI 10 n'or EMUI 10.1 dload firmware released for VOG-L0J .
For info about how to install GMS, use YouTube or xda P40 Pro thread:
1. YouTube - link 1 / link 2 or just search for How to install GMS on Huawei P40 Pro
2. P40 Pro xda thread - https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...uide-method-to-install-google-mobile-t4120143 or https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p40-pro/help/gms-method-t4163345
Good luck,

hi. SilviuO. thank you !
I got a VOG-L0J 9.1.0.136(C341) firmware now.
then I will downgrade to it then upgrade to EMUI10 again.
because I want to find out why google auth failed . before I did factory reset ,everything was ok.
is there risk for it?
thank you again.

If you have an dload firmware for EMUI 9.1 and you will flash it, there's a BIG problem: YOU WILL GET YOURSELF A SOFTBRICKED DEVICE! The only way for you to rollback to EMUI 10 and then to EMUI 9.1 is through HiSuite and by using the right firmware for your device. I know that there's none released, so unless you get yourself (maybe from a Phone Service Center) a dload firmware EMUI 10 or EMUI 10.1 for VOG-L0J to use it, then you'll need to use your device AS IS ?.
Hope you haven't used the EMUI 9.1 firmware untill now and you get to read this before
