Anyone got the Android 10 beta update package for rm3s? We can flash it for a manual update
Same question here... Is there an Android 10 update (beta) available for RM3S? if yes, please help us with the link..
Mine runs on NA rom... I didnt find anything from the official channel...

As far as I know. 3 people have it. And they won't upload it due to Nubia saying it was not to be made public.
At least they are working on it and it gives me a peace of mind
I was told its no longer in development by a reliable source. The last beta was from last year and nothing new since. So I wouldn't be holding your breath for it. And If they do push it out I bet the bugs it has won't be fixed so the Android 9 ROMs would probably be better daily drivers.

Who or what is the reliable source? Just curious, like was it Nubia support, or who...?

Android 10 is not coming for the RM3 and RM3S. Here I'll explain the beta
The beta was a way to test some of the stuff for the RM5G. They got some RM5G samples out and those were used to test. The update won't come.

You know what an NDA is? It won't be uploaded and it won't be released by them. 3 people got that update. All had to do a NDA prior to getting it because slot of the new stuff thats in the RM5G is in that rom.

I thought google will release official froyo via OTA before coming june...
doesn't google offer release date yet??
I believe they will wait for 2 reasons...
1. Fix all issues with 2.2 and release a stable OTA
2. Release it soon after 06/07 as a reply to Apple dissing Google at the release of iPhone 4

Flash is not in the test ver, you can download the beta from adobe. i wonder if they will include it in the final release

Flash will be an independent release from adobe (not included in FroYo). This is done so that adobe can push updates without going through google...

If you were rooted, you could easily remove it from the system/app directory. I understand that isn't everyone's favorite thing to do of course..

This is why I love Blizzard's release cycle..."when it's ready, we will ship." People get acclimated to such a cycle and know when an update/new version is dumped on the public, it will be solid.

Everyone is anxious for the release; not so much OTA but to AOSP so the cooks can start making roms. Until then, we are all just sitting around.

i love the new twitter app because its integration into the OS, contacts, sync, etc. but i HATE the color of it, all white with blue. so i keep using touiteur for now.
I know mr orderkrieger already making the. Cm14 ham rom for us but am i the only one here who just cant wait for it? Lol. I really want to have that new animations and new split screen. Head count please for those loyal zuk z1 users who are also waiting.

Just wait until they think it's ready. They are doing this in their spare time and are trying to make sure, that they don't release something that will brick your device.
I believe, waiting a few more days for a stabler build would be better. And of course the devs are not delaying it on purpose. Plus it's a brand new Android OS version, so it's worth the wait.
Although I am growing impatient too. Lol

We all know that the XZ2 is yet out and i and we all want to know is that..
Any progress in the drm fix for those that want to unlock thier bootloader and having a fix for our drm so we can mod or whatever finally ?
I am very curious about that like more people so we can run on a custom rom like based on Sony stock with some modifications and so on.
I hope trully we get a drm fix shortly or in the near future.
Please if someone knows anything, share it here or we try to find together a solution/drm fix.

It is right that there isn't a finished DRM fix.
Sometimes they post a status update.
Even Qualcomm told that we need to wait until they release the Snapdragon 845 sources.
After that, Sony will officially announce that the xz2 is part of the open source programm and will release further sources.
On 22May XDA said Qualcomm will release source 6 weeks later... so it'll still take about 2 weeks until we get part of AOSP ~.~

I have already checked the firmware. And there is a ready test package for the XZ2 DRM fix on my computer. With the XZ2 there are changes regarding the fix, the old modification probably will not work there. But as I said, I already have the new files here. I'm just waiting for a running recovery. If someone already has something going on, you could possibly test it.

last week we had the 429 439 and 632 officially released.
The 710 also seems to be out of the bag.
Yet on the CAF there is only SDM660 and no 845

Root is kinda easy to get, as long as you unlock your device! You can check out the few steps to get it here.

Unless you can get the beta what development was stopped on there are no android updates or security patch updates.

That's not an update. Same security patch and Android 9. That's why the RM3 and 3S won't ever get an actual update because people defend them.
Also that Chinese ROM sends data back to China.

Is it just bug fixes and stuff? The Chinese forum even has a change log for the January update it got. I'm just grasping at straws here, I cannot sell the phone and want to get it on the latest Android version I can. I know the development is basically dead.

And? Let me guess your pretty easy to please. Here I'll repack a rom for you and preload a wall paper for you and make you happy.
Those "updates" are nothing more then additional bloat. You know the stuff every phone owner hates. Still the same Android 9 same old security patch. Nothing is updated. The remove bloat in some patches and then add it back in another.
But **** how is that January security patch then? That rom should have it if its an "update"

For the moment it seems that only the NFC version has had an A12 update in EEA.

For Xiaomi EU roms you can go there with your eyes closed, better than stock roms.
I don't have this phone. but I use these roms currently and for a long time.

Yes, I got that update yesterday too... I thought awesome, is this finally A12 rolling out. However I didn't recognise the build number, compared to all the other A12 firmwares floating around.... But yeah, sure enough it looks like a Security patch in the guise of a full rom at 2.7GB.... I've still not installed it yet.

As I said, I write the rest of it when I get chance as the info was on the phone and I had to rush off to get summit to eat. So didn't have the info to hand. However the other info what I supplied above was the version (inc letters) of the updated rom/update I received. I just didn't have access to the existing data that was my current build. Will update shortly....
