Can anyone guide me for bootloader unlocking in Realme UI?

Twrp disappeared after reboot. Tried flashing twrp again, reboot, and next time i go twrp it's always replaced back to stock recovery. How to fix?

Did you find any solution to this? Same happens here - once you've bootet to system (Realme UI) recovery is reverted back to stock.

That's correct - unfortunately FP is still to be fixed on these builds . PE has a working one though if needed. These are first builds and are under improvement
FP patch should be working in next build.

OMGOODNESS!!!!!! ViperOS is back in the game ??? :highfive: This was soely my favorite custom ROM for years way back in the days. I have the Mi 9 to flash this on but since this is my DD phone, I will have to wait until this ROM becomes more stable with everything working. I will surely be following this thread for upcoming stable releases. @raystef66, thank you for bringing this to the community for the Mi 9:fingers-crossed:

Help?
Hello I flashed ViperOS following the instructioins on my Mi9 an immediately became stuck in a boot loop?
I thoughyt it might be the TWRP I was using which I had no issues with before.
I tried to flash the suggested TWRP after full wipe and.....
Why am I now stuck in a permanent fastboot loop?
Any suggestions?
My Mi9 is OEM bootloader unlocked
I was running PE an had usb debugging an OEm unlocked as far as I am aware.
Please can anyone help?

Did you wipe like was written in first post?
"000. boot into twrp, format data, swipe to factory reset, reboot back into twrp"
If not, you could delete TWRP directory and then phone starts in fastboot mode.
I had the same in another rom installation.

Thanks for compliment.
I cannot boot into TWRP. I have tried all different kinds of TWRPs and it shows the Mi logo for 2 seconds then goes straight back to the fastboot screen.
I have no idea how to get my cell to boot into any kind of TWRP. The previous TWRP I was using will no longer boot

Use this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/how-to/guide-how-flashed-twrp-xiaomi-eu-rom-t3912952
And this step is important (in first post):
"This step is very important!! You must go to the Wipe menu and select: Format Data, then type “yes” to continue and then: do a Factory reset, which also wipes: Data, Caches and Format Data. If you skip this step you won’t be able to install a lot of important apps and will have to start over. "
Before this procedure I installed global rom in tar version by miphone=miflash in which is installed stock recovery
And then you can install TWRP recovery as a replacement
I used mauronofrio TWRP
https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-xiaomi-mi-9-t3905825
When you have TWRP you can instal rom of your choice

Hello, I'm trying to port TWRP to the motorola edge plus and right now I'm running into an issue where my touchscreen and adb do not work. Could you publish the device tree you used here so I can take a look at it and potentially get it working on my phone?
Thanks.

You'd better check the moto edge tree : https://github.com/boulzordev/android_device_motorola_racer/tree/twrp
Unified one for trinket devices is here : https://github.com/moto-sm6xxx/android_device_motorola_sofiar/tree/twrp
Where to look at :
recovery/root/vendor/firmware - firmwares for touchscreen and vibrator
recovery/root/sbin/modules - drivers for touchscreen/battery/vibrator
recovery/root/sbin/load_ts_firmware.sh - in charge to load modules and tell touchscreen driver which firmware to load
Just like to confirm that this is working great either booted or installed. Thanks for the hard work vache :good::good:
There is no system partition to install to in TWRP. Super is listed twice. It may be nice to know what partitions listed actually mean.
No checkbox activation:
System
Vendor
product
USB storage

It would be nice to see users searching by themself.
Google for "dynamic partitions" and "fastbootd". That could also help you to understand why omni is shipped as images for now instead of flashable zip.

Most people agree OMNI is a great ROM. System, Vendor, and product are critical partitions for ROM flashing so I am surprised TWRP does not toggle them correctly.

I can confirm that it is fixed. I used Magisk's adb/fastboot module to unlock my Moto G Fast with my rooted G7 Play with a USB C to C cable, boot twrp, and make a back up. This is epic!
It took some digging to figure this out, so I'm going to outline the steps for getting this installed without a boot loop.
1. Unlock your device. (I'm not holding your hand here.)
2. Reboot into fastboot.
3. Temporarily boot twrp.
4. Install magisk by flashing the latest zip from twrp. Then flash the copy partitions zip so you don't hard brick.
5. Reboot to system, and you're now rooted.
6. Reboot into recovery.
7. From stock recovery select "enter fastboot" this takes you to "fastboot d" mode.
8. Flash twrp while you're in fastbootd mode.
9. Enjoy! Everything is working perfectly. Rebooting to recovery takes you to TWRP. Rebooting to system gives you root. We also have full decryption support.
Great work

I'm rather new to the scene, everything you're saying here makes sense except the copypartions.zip. Is this something that is the same for all phones or is there a special file i should have for the g fast?
and still bootloop lmao, im doing the exact steps provided exactly as i see them on this thread, christ ill send 20 bucks through paypal to whoever makes a actual detailed guide with explanations on what to do like for example what is the copy partitions zip? whats it for? do i make a patched boot image first if im coming from full stock? do i do any of this to the other partition? treat it like your making it for noobs like christ is it that hard to help out now lmao

If you have done an OTA update on the phone, AFAIK you don't need the copy-partitions.zip. The zip copies needed partitions from the used slot to the unused slot. So if it does change from one to another, you aren't left with a completely blank slot with nothing on it. (As i said, if you have done a OTA update, both slots will be populated, so it isn't necessary to flash the zip..)
SOMEONE SMARTER THAN ME CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG ON THE ABOVE STATEMENT PLEASE
So.. assuming you are on clean stock and you have done an OTA update... In fastboot:
(make sure you have a magisk.zip on your phone or sd card)
Code:
fastboot flash recovery <twrpfilename>.img
Then enter recovery mode from the bootloader menu you are still in.
Wait for twrp to load, install magisk, reboot.
Profit.
Now you are rooted, with twrp permanently installed.
p.s: Keep the 20 bucks and send it to vache :silly:

Hello, I installed, then I installed magisk, restarted the phone normally, then to test I restarted the phone in recovery, asked for my pattern and it worked. After starting the phone again, twrp no longer asked for a default, and all the encrypted folders appeared.
Can setup on vangogh ?
Can we flash it as a image in twrp 3.4?

Hello ,
My bootloader is unlock, TWRP flashed. In TWRP Ican reboot to TWRP recovery again, but when I reboot normally, use my phone, then reboot to recovery , it's MI recovery, no more TWRP.
Any idea to keep TWRP ?
Regards
Woah very nice recovery . One that actually works properly, thanks for your work.

Try the steps again.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (i suggest you if you have different name rename it to recovery.img)
fastboot boot recovery.img
and then try install magisk and then wipe cache and dalvik
I have a question.
Why so many people ask frecuently about magisk?
I used to have it on my phones when installing GCAM required root. But some years ago, it's not necessary and I don't root my xiaomis anymore.

Boot to recovery, wipe everything, format data.
Then reboot to recovery, connect your phone with PC, copy ROM to internal storage and then happy flashing
Btw don't forget to make a backup.

I realized after I published it, it will be fixed in a next update, this recovery allows flashing .img files which means that you can flash the update from twrp
I was unable to install LOS through TWRP. It basically just overwrote the recovery and left it in an unbootable state. Sideloading the zip still left it unbootable.
After booting LOS and reinstalling TWRP, I was able to flash Magisk though.
