With unlocked bootloader probably yes. Not sure about recovery.

Yes, they are exactly the same device. Mi CC 9 I believe was a China exclusive or something like that. Mi 9 Lite is the global version of that device. Mi CC 9 = Mi 9 Lite pretty much. Although you should be careful, there is actually 3 varients of this devices, besides the two I've already spoken of there is the Mi CC 9 Meitu edition. This has slightly different specs (in terms of ram I think), Mi CC 9 Meitu's codename is "vela" whilst the Mi CC 9 & Mi 9 Lite's codename is "pyxis". When you flash something, just make sure the codename for the rom or whatever it is includes "pyxis". You should be fine then.

So why doesn't anyone speak about MI 6X here?

I want to buy this phone, but don't really see any custom ROM development for it, only isaac's work on afh, and I checked his github and he still works on this device.
So what are your thoughts? Will it have any more good devs who will work on this phone, just like on Redmi Note 5 Pro (Whyred)?
Mi 6X is not Mi 6. Mi 6X uses chip snapdragon 660, but Mi 6 uses chip snapdragon 835. I mean, Mi 6X is other device than Mi 6.
Yes I knew that, but because there is no seperate forum here on XDA for the 6X, I think this is the best place for it.
I guesd that the Mi6x doesn't have enough users
I dont think so
you can request a device forum here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1660354

Can Mi CC9 TWRP can be used on Mi 9 Lite ?

Hi !
It's all in the title ! Can the CC9 TWRP can be used on Mi 9 Lite ?
Thanks !
Not sure. But they say that the phones are the same as configuration.
Sent from my MI CC 9 using Tapatalk
Probably yes, but sometimes Xiaomi using few different vendors for touchscreen on same phone and this can cause problems with touch in twrp.. ?
I used this on Mi 9 Lite:

Works well. On first use, you need to change the language from Chinese to English.

Mi 9t pro Rom on Mi 9

Is it possible to flash Mi 9t pro Roms on the Mi 9 or does it not work?
Cause specs are mostly the same.

Doesn't work in both the snapdragon 855?

mcc9 vs mi a3

I kn mi a3 is the global version of the mi cc9 but i want to know if they are the same, like,
Can i flash roms for cc9 in a3 or vice versa
I don't think they're the same. afaik, mi A3 is an android one device. Maybe on the right forum one can find a miui rom provided by developers but i dont' think it would be wise to flash mi cc9 rom on a mi A3 device.
Xiaomi Mi A3 and Xiaomi Mi CC9e are almost same. Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite and Xiaomi Mi CC9 are almost same. But CC9 and A3 are very different. Don't try to flash them with another ROM.

ROM question for Mi 8 Pro 8GB Ram

Hi
I've got a Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro 8GB Ram will MIUI 11 installed.
Will I be able to run any of the ROMS on this forum on my Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro 8GB Ram? Or is this forum for a different phone.
And will Mi 8 ROMS work on Mi 8 Pro 8GB?
I'm confused because I've seen a forum for Redmi 8 so was wondering if this is same phone as mi 8 Pro.
Thanks

No, you have a different phone with different configurations, and the fingerprint Hal alone would cause a lot of issues. Do not flash any roms from this thread. Your best option would be using custom miui Xiaomi.EU rom.
Or
There is a new official stable build available for your phone: https://c.mi.com/thread-2940823-1-0.html
The problem is that there aren't many of the mi8 pro's around. If you want a custom rom you could try asking a developer to build one for you for a fee. its alot of work, and you would need to be the Guinea Pig tester. Again, I feel that you are better off using xiaomi.EU or Stock with a custom recovery and Root. This will be your best experience anyway.
