How to remove Alert Unlock Bootloader Screen V409N ? - LG V40 Questions & Answers

im unlock boot loader , and them im relock phone to remove that alert , but i can't enter dl mode to stock , phone display red image

By red image you mean your phone failed the safty check or whatever check it is? You have to try flashing back original kdz then relock bootloader after that. Dont just be rooted with twrp and then decide to relock it.

my phone is v40 korea - no bootloader , i tried flash stock , then flash v35 bootloader to relock but after relock and reflash stock bootloader i can't enter dl mode , only red warning show

You flash the stock rom using LG UP then you use fastboot to relock your bootloader. If you have custom rom or recovery installed and then you relock then basically you ****ed up your phone. On every phone you always flash stock rom then relock after.

[Q] My hTC ONE need your help pls

Hi,
I got a big problem after i have unlock boot-loader.
after unlock boot loader i try to install OTA update 1.29.401.12 and i got an error, then the device freeze in this screen
sorry i can't insert the image, but its black screen and HTC logo in the middle and there are 4 triangle on the corners
Now i have to flash the stock RUU ROM right? if its yes i need the link of the ROM!!
thanx
Can you boot the device like normally? If so, just relock your device, install OTA and then unlock again. OTAs can't be flashed with unlocked bootloader or custom roms.

Relocked bootloader, now only boots into bootloader

Hey guys,
I relocked my bootloader using the AIO ToolKit, but now the phone only boots into the bootloader. Even if I choose recovery, in just goes back to the bootloader. Is there any way to fix this? I can't use an RUU because of incorrect CID (Orange).
You need stock recovery I think before you relock it.
Ah OK, I'll give that a shot thanks
What's the best way to get back to stock recovery (for CID ORANG001)?

Htc bricked afetr lollipop update

my htc m7 got bricked and stuck in a bootloop after two days of being OTA updated to lollipop, knowing that it's S-on and bootloader locked, now when i try to unlock it through HTCDEv everything goes well but when the phone reboots it would still be locked and won't enter recovery! and when trying to flash a stock firmware instead of rebooting to bootloader (fastboot oem rebootRUU) the phone would reboot to system and stuck in boot loop, any solution to flash the phone back to normal?
If you are using Clockwork Mod, then there should be a way to get back into the rom flash option. Go into your "Power/Volume Down" page, and look for the option to flash from zip. Find the zip you used when ORIGINALLY flashing to your custom rom. Do not try to go to stock at first, work your way backwards. If you can get back to the working custom rom, from there you can use on screen functions to repair the phone back to stock.

Looks like you are having firmware or hardware issue. We often see this problem (not being able to unlock the bootloader) when the phone was relocked with a custom recovery still installed. But it doesn't seem to be your case since your phone is s-on and locked unless you tell me that you did re-locked the bootloader with a custom recovery installed...
Unfortunately the only walk around for this issue is to flash the same version stock firmware.zip in ruu mode which is not accessible in your case.
Why you can't access the ruu mode, I really don't know, it might confirm an firmware issue, maybe with the bootloader. Your not the first one stuck in that situation (not unlockable + ruu mode broken), its not common but you are not the first.
Btw is your phone a GPE or Sense variant? GPE variant have a well known bug which will prevent the bootloader to be unlocked. Does not apply to Sense variants.
I'm afraid there is nothing to do if you can't unlock or access ruu mode. Maybe a jtag repair could work or you'll have to send it for repair.
Sorry

OP said he was bootloader locked so he can't use a custom recovery.
Go into your "Power/Volume Down" page, and look for the option to flash from zip.

There is no such option for HTC devices. To flash stock zip on the M7 you must access RUU mode, OP said RUU mode is broken...

Don't understand why you are talking about custom roms, did you read the OP?
I appreciate your responds guys and i believe the only option left is the jtag i guess..

Fastboot and oem unlock

Yesterday I thought I bricked my phone. I too also got stuck on the secure boot error 1003 boot loop. It happened when I tried to relock my bootloader with fastboot oem lock. Can anyone explain why that happened and if, after you obtain root, if it's possible to go back and relock the bootloader. I was attempting to get android pay working again, plus it flashes that message about having an unlocked bootloader. Is it possible to re-lock the bootloader after you have root, and if so, what did I do wrong. I finally restored back to factory using the lg bridge tool and download mode, which was a [email protected]#% to get into with a bootlooping phone.
Thanks in advance.

To answer your question, when you root the g4 on marshmallow using chainfire's systemless root, It on the fly flashes a different boot image, thus if you relock the bootloader after rooting the device on the 6.0 marshmallow firmware it will end up with the security error because the boot image has been "modified" and a modified image won't be allowed to boot if the bootloader is locked so the answer is unfortunately no you can't have a locked bootloader and have root at the same time, If you want to relock the bootloader on the 6.0 firmware to get rid of the boot image showing "unlocked bootloader" you should flash the KDZ for the 6.0 firmware in this case H81120i firmware and then go into developer settings and uncheck enable oem unlocking and also make sure you boot into fastboot mode, you can do this via the adb shell. another option to not have the "unlocked bootloader" show every boot would be to go back to the 5.1 firmware which did not have this. I hope this helps.
Thank you for a great explanation.
If you ask the people at xposed modules they may be able to do something maybe....
5.1 still displays bootloader unlocked message.

Get back to stock an relock bootloader

Hi all,
I have a Mi 9 europe version and want to get back to stock.
The current status of my device is:
- Bootloader unlocked
- TWRP
- flashed GSI FlokoRom
Can I just put the phone into fastboot mode and flash (10.2.24.0 PFAEUXM from there) with MI flash tool as mentioned there? Is it possible to relock the bootloader after this or will it brick my device?
I recommend you to flash rom WITHOUT LOCKING at first time. Even if something is wrong you should be able to flash twrp and then flash any rom.
But if after flashing your ohone boot up normally, flash it again and tick LOCK BOOTLOADER. Simple and secure way to get stock phone.
