5033D Boot Loop - Bricked beyond redemption? - Alcatel 1 Questions & Answers

Hi all,
I have a 5033D that I tried flashing with a GSI ROM (ver32 - AOSP 8.1) via Fastboot and it failed. I rebooted the device too quickly before realising there was a failure.
Now the phone is stuck in a boot loop. It will not go into Recovery or Fastboot.
When I press the power button (or any other combination) without USB connected it vibrates and stays blank.
When I plug it into USB and to a PC, it vibrates and shows the Logo, and goes into boot loop - vibrates, logo, vibrates, reboots (repetitively).
When I plug it into USB charger, it vibrates and shows the Logo, and goes into boot loop - vibrates, logo, vibrates, reboots (repetitively). It comes to a point where it shows that it is in Fastboot Mode, but when I plug it into a PC it gets rebooted out of Fastboot so I can't flash it or detect it in Fastboot.
Can I officially say this is bricked beyond rescue?
Thanks all!

Hello,
No. Try the Mobile Upgrade S Gotu2 5.4.8 tool to recover your phone. Remove the battery and ignore the instructions saying that you have to have your battery inserted.
You should be able to recover it.

Thanks! That worked.
I actually did try using the tool before, but it kept telling me that I already had a newer version of ROM installed and exited the program. But thanks to you I realised I was using version 5.3.5. The "newer version" error message makes sense now.

[Q] Nexus1 not booting.. please help

need help with my nexus one.
basically i can boot into the bootloader but it i try to go to recovery it just shows the nexus X logo indefinitely, if i power on the device without holding volume down or trackball it shows X logo indefinitely. If i pull the battery out while at X logo I cannot boot at all untill i remove the battery for 15 minutes then try again.
I tried getting an official ROM and flashing it with bootloader by naming it passimg.zip and it keeps saying that the file is incorrect and doesnt load it.
ADB doesnt seem to work and the phone doesnt seem to connect to the computer anymore ie to say no dadum sound on windows when i plug usb in on fastboot or boot loader.
its a friend's phone and he asked me to fix it after trying some weird stuff on it. seems usb bricked and seems all the flashes are blank or corrupted..

Genral section
ruu 2.3.4 download
Boot in bootloader
Run ruu program
ANd you have gingerbread again
when on the bootloader you have to use fastboot, not adb.
try fastboot flashing a recovery, then try to boot to it
or flash blackrose and check for bad blocks. If there's too many, then your NAND might have gone bad

Stuck at rooting ZR 4.2.2

Hi. I have been following this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2392865
And im stuck at step 9. The install.bat stays in state "Step1 : Waiting for Device".
And im not sure how I passed the same flash recovery at step 3- I was stuck at the same step until, if i remember correcly, the script suddenly started copying files when the phone was already booted inside android.
How im trying to get it work:
The phone is disconnected from PC and turned off. I press VolumeUP and connect the phone to my PC.
Then the phone's led turns BLUE but nothing appears on the screen. And it stays in this state. The script doesnt recognise the phone and wont start copying. I tried connecting the phone with pressing VolumeDOWN- still no go. And I tried booting into the phone operating system and then connecting to PC- script still doesnt recognise.
what am i exacly doing wrong? thanks

however i have not managed to get into recovery mode on my own. only after the script finishes and reboots- only then I am thrown to recovery mode. whats up with that? how can i boot into recovery myself? pressing the volumeup hasnt worked..
and another question. getting the phone back to stock condition (stock 4.2.2 ROM and stock recovery) I just need to flashtool the stock firmware on the phone?
sorry for dumb questions.

Did you try the " take out the battery, reinstall the battery, hold volume down + power to go to bootloader " ?

Yep, but nothing. I put my device all night on charge, and in the morning, the light has gone, i put again and the led started to flash and still nothing, i think it's from my battery :?
Visit www dot htcdev dot com/devcenter/downloads (please change the 'dot' to '.' I cannot post the link dirrectly for some reasons)
Then choose your device and download the correct RUU
I saved my bricked phone using this last year, this will factory reset your phone

Connect phone to pc with usb and then try to boot to bootloader(this has always worked for me when I have had that kind of issue). What were you trying to do when this started?

There's a change that you installed wrong TWRP and it keeps trying to boot recovery until it does it successfully. Though can't be sure since Honor 4x doesn't give any additional info. I can't remember how to fix it, but you could try to do force update, without update file.
Make sure you don't have 'dload' folder in root of your SDcard and that your device has high battery. Then hold vol + and vol - while powering device and keep holding them until it gets to update screen or until it boot loops again. If it gets to update screen your device should boot next time normally.
