Possible to remove/hide "Quick Share" row in share screen? - Samsung Galaxy S10 Questions & Answers

Hi,
is it possible to remove the Quick Share row in the share screen?
QS is turned off but it remains in the share screen.
Thanks,
Chris

Think you have to disable the service manually to get rid of it.

You mean with PackageDisabler?

Screen lock policy

Hello everyone,
I want to get the note 4 but I have noticed on kit kat the lockscreen policy app doesn't work. I really don't want the camera button there & I would like my messages to appear as an icon like 4.3 and the capability of reading it from my notification screen. I know I can disable the messaging portion of it but, if I do it will still pop up saying new message on the lock screen & can't read it from the notification screen. Any recommendations or suggestions?
Go to Settings/Lock Screen. Untick the Camera Shortcut option.

Thanks for the advice. The camera icon is no longer there however, i still see the messages appear on the screen. Is there a manual way to remove this or an xposed tweak?
Any updates on how to get rid of the message icon ( circled in red )
But keep the message icon? (8circled in blue)

Remove add user icon from notification bar

Hello I have a galaxy tab s2 t810 running lollipop 5.1.1 It is rooted .I want to remove the add user icon from the notification bar. When the screen is locked anybody can pull down the notification bar click on users and then create a new user by clicking on add user. I want to remove only the add user icon please point me in the right direction. I have looked in settings under lock screen and there is no option to turn this off. Thanks

Wow, I can't believe there is still no information anywhere about this. I would really like to know the answer as well. I imagine a lot of people are the sole users of their devices and do not want anyone who picks up their device to be able to create a new account, change settings and download apps. I encrypt my devices and know my information is secure but if I want to add a user I can do it from the settings once I'm logged in. I would love the ability to remove the option from the lock screen. I just don't get whoever thought this was a good idea but apparently most people either don't mind, don't care or as I suspect, don't realize it's there. This option should be available for unrooted devices as well.
Check this out. Maybe this is what you need.

Thanks "add fw.max_users=1 in build.prop and restart the device" works great!!

I did that and it worked but there is still the icon for 'setting' in the lockscreen pulldown and clicking on it bypass the lockscreen. Can I get rid of that icon too?
I updated to tab s2 to nougat. I was expecting the add user option could be customised to disable it completely but it is still the same.
I want to remove add guest and add user completely from the notification. How do I make this happen ?

Here, ?
fw.max_users=1
fw.show_multiuserui=0
Click to collapse
This goes to end of build.prop (if not already added)
This disables addition/changing of user from settings app/status bar.
Please hit "Thanks" below ?

How to get rid of the notification bar when device is locked

Hi, on my S7 I did deactivate the notification bar on my lock screen.
But I cannot find the setting on my S10.
When my S10 is locked, I do not want to get the notification bar by pulling down (to change Wifi, mobile connection, bluetooth and so on).
It's just, because the kids play with my phone and they do not know how to unlock it. But when the notification bar shows up on the lockscreen, the can change the settings of all my sensors and stuff
Quite annoying.
Thanks for your help.
Settings -> Lock screen -> Secure lock settings
Turn on "Lock network and security"
Thanks, but this doesn't help. It was already checked.
The bar can still be pulled down.
On my S7, this wasn't possible at all. I could deactivate completely.

Yes, but it should ask for you to unlock it to change any settings. Give it a shot.
It only does that for wifi or mobile connections. But you can still switch off auto sync and other stuff.

Try Cerberus. It has that option. But it has so much more.
This one is much simpler

There are both paid options I think.
Do the kids just grab it or do you hand it to them? If you hand it to them then in the same menu there is an option called "Show lockdown option". From your Lock screen, holding down the power button will give you the option to lock it down. That should prevent everything you're worried about. The only thing is that you'd have to manually do it every time.
arrggg...it works, BUT....the fingerprint requires the android lock screen mode. And the fingerprint is needed for my online banking. So I cannot use another lock screen app. Damn it...it would have been a nice solution.

I've managed to get them to show on lockscreen but I don't think they can be shown on aod at least just yet.
Lockscreen/notifications
It's not just an off/on switch
You can go inside and choose various levels of show/hide details.

Notification panel on lock screen without removing screen lock?

Hi everyone, I just got the Nex 3. Would anyone happen to know how to get the notification panel on the lock screen?
On the vivo website, it says this is disabled due to privacy or rather.. and the only way to do this is to remove the lock password..
Without the notification panel, I would have to unlock the phone if I wanted to do any quick reads or quick replies..
Any assistance is kindly appreciated!
*Also.. does anyone know of a gcam port that works with the Nex 3?
