I installed havoc 3.4 yesterday and encountered an issue. Magisk won't allow me to install youtubevanced, tried to disable YouTube app and rebooted but when it opens up system crashes and says "Google services blah blah blah... ,so i dirty flash havoc 3.4 again to fix it. Do I need to uninstall YouTube before installing youtubevanced? I understand that YouTube was a system app maybe it messed up the system.
I'am just wondering if call recording is available.

I have been testing it for past 1 day. Nice rom so far. Although there are few things.
Ambient display with Always on, and hand wave doesn't work. It's working fine with pocket, pick and notification modes.
Video recording doesn't work. Tried with default cam and Gcam. It always shows the video is 21 min long.
Aux cam setting in Gcam crashes the app.
i got a audio bug after flashing the rom, had to install a magisk module named audio compatibility patch to fix it.

YouTube Vanced Magisk module is no longer supported. Download the APK from their website vanced.app. I recommend using the non-root version since it's the same.

I have same problem with previous version of rom..then i have change recovery and prblm solve..use official recovery 3.1.1. You need to wipe everything and try..it may work for you.. I'll check tmrw and tell you.

i like this rom.. stable enough...
Can anyone please test if Apt-X headset is working correctly in the latest build? I have no such headset, so I can't test it.
I just tested the latest build with the cheapest Bluetooth-headset which doesn't support Apt-X. It doesn't work on calls. The attached archive should fix this issue for both Apt-X and non-Apt-X headsets, just flash it via TWRP.

Here are some reasons for the kernel 4.x:
1. 3.10.108 works like a charm for me.
2. I'm just learning the ROM building and my knowledge is not quite enough for building a new kernel.
Batik Recovery is recommended for my ROMS. Link for it could be found in the initial post.

If you're asking about the latest file on AFH and Sourceforge, I just fixed the updater script which caused an error during the ROM installation. One of the users reported this issue some days ago. That's why I re-uploaded the ROM zips. Fixed archives don't contain any ROM updates.

Hi, yes it is there if you use the included aosp phone app. If the gapps you install replaces it with Google phone app then you can't record. So you need to install a gapps version that doesn't replace the dialer.
I didn't find an item that includes call recording. installed FlameGApps-11.0-basic-arm64-20210307-BETA.zip, 2021-03-07, 93.9 MB. phone stock app.

If it's still not there, can you take a logcat of recording a call, doesn't have to be long, even a 5 second recording is fine

Hello- A question about the installation process. I understand the steps but in the process of resetting and formatting the phone everything seems to get wiped including the new ROM zip.
How is one supposed to install the ROM zip when the formatting erases everything ?
I ended up doing this and thankfully used sideload and all was good but am confused by the main installation method.

You can flash the rom and then format if it's easier, the end result is the same. Or reboot recovery and you can copy the rom to the internal storage again.
Anyway the format is only necessary when coming from a rom with encrypted data. You can dirty flash updates.

- Place ROM.zip , Gappa, TWRP installer.zip & OOS 10 OTA.zip in OTG
- Boot to TWRP
- If you are in A slot Flashing will go B if you are in B slot Flashing will go A (Keep in mind)
- Now connect OTG, press install select storage and Flash OOS 10 OTA.zip _ And see in which slot it is flashing
- Now install TWRP Installer .zip
- Reboot to TWRP from TWRP_ Now your slot must be changed
- Now connect OTG, press install select storage and Flash OOS 10 OTA.zip _ And see in which slot it is flashing
- OOS 10.zip should be flashed in both A & B Slot
- Now install TWRP Installer .zip
- Reboot to TWRP (Optional)
- Press install and flash ROM.zip
- Now install TWRP installer.zip
- Reboot to TWRP from TWRP

Has the sound bug in applications like Instagram, Whatsapp and Facebook been resolved? Also, when i play videos in facebook and instagram, it stops by itself.
