As far as i know, this is a new feature. And bit by bit, it will be implemented into other roms soon.
Also, it works very smooth. Takes 1-2 seconds.

But why gapps is so old? E.g. Chrome is 74 from mostly year ago.
Please mention in first post that encryption of device causes boot loop.
Also, I can't find an option to enable battery indication in %

Is there any detailed step-by-step installation guide? Such as whether I need to clean cache or factory-reset the device. I use TWRP as recovery program on my phone. Thanks in advance.

if you want to change your rom, i recommend a clean flash. that's mean you need to wipe all your data before you flash a new rom. i suggest you do a backup to your data. and these are the steps to flash new room :
1. back up your data
2. you already installed twrp on your phone right? then reboot to twrp
3. in twrp, tap wipe -> format data -> type yes and swipe to complete it but don't reboot your phone, back to twrp home
4. tap wipe -> advanced wipe -> check everything -> swipe to complete it but don't reboot your phone, back to twrp home
5. flash your new rom
6. wipe cache/dalvik
7. reboot and enjoy

maybe you can reinstall your twrp. or reboot to recovery using adb command : adb reboot recovery
Any chance to have a build guide for this? I need to try something by adding other binaries as well as enabling some stuff in the kernel, hence I would like to build by myself in eng mode.

I installed this ROM, and tried to root using magisk via twrp. severally i always stuck on bootloop condition. i tried vversion 20.0 20.3 20.4 of magisk. orange twrp and pitch black the result still not booting.

I have a problem the camera can't run only black, and the flashlight can't turn on. does not have a gallery for opening image files. and face unlock doesn't work because the camera also doesn't work, the rest all goes smoothly

if still not working then do this, first flash latest miui with mi flashing tool than flash any custom roms

When magisk is flashed with the rom it fails to boot, without magisk it works fine. however on twrp my pin number does not work for decryption of storage. so i cannot flash magisk.
edit, I have sideloaded magisk but the twrp decryption issue remains.
Does it support volte?

Disable password lock in Rom
until there is an updated version of twrp where the encryption works (which is updated by Google)

I've got the same issues.Any suggestions??
p/snly removing PIN code to access TWRP.
I know that after few hours it's to early to jugde but overal, I haven't come across any FC or other bugs.
It works smooth and nice. no hangs or freeze.
The only thing is QC which is not works form me. after reboot, it starts for few second (as on photo) than change to max 1500 mAh

I wonder if the major bug from the last release were fixed, High battery Drain, Camara issues and whatsapp issues.

I think there is a new "new" encryption now.
So was probably from the February security patches. Seems to require google code to be added to the TWRP sources and then built for Mi 6.
I'm thinking TheStrix might build official twrp soon or someone will fond a way to get an unofficial one working.
Work around for now is removing the password so there's no pin to decrypt in TWRP. (Can just enable and disable for recovery usage)
I can't boot up the rom, when i reboot from twrp after de Mi logo a orange screen appears with a message "ramdump partition not found". Anyone knows how to solve this?

Thanks for the advice, will definitely try that way, I'll wait for Magisk and SafetyNet support though, if PE is as good as how CrDroid is, from what I tested, development is having a great start.

Stability wise, it's shockingly stable, definitely viable for daily driving.
Only downsides, which are the same for this PE Rom as well, is lack of safetynet, SELinux and Magisk, all those not working, which is a deal breaker for me at least. Otherwise, great ROM, 90hz all the time, which is why I really wanted to try PE, because PE is my fav ROM ever.
CrDroid still has to polish some slowness on the launcher and certain UI elements (It was not lag, it was like those parts were running at 60hz or maybe less, and going from a 90hz app or setting back to launcher, felt weird)

Download fullr rom ozip from realme website and flash it with twrp
I really really want to try this rom. I have been rooting my phones since early redmi note 4 days and have used xiaomi till date, except for this device. Three months in and still haven't had the courage to try and to root this device and flash twrp or any other recovery. Can someone please explain to me the step by step guide in laymen terms. I did a clean flash. When I restored the previous backup, I meant after I couldn't boot the clean flash of your ROM, I restored the backup up of my previous ROM otherwise I'd be stuck at the fastboot screen permanently.
I wiped data, system, vendor, caches etc first before flashing the ROM
Doesn't boot if magisk v21 is installed. Anyone have any luck rooting the ROM?
No exfat support so can't use my sd card ( nearly 2021 and occasionally you'll find a ROM like this that still doesn't include this, strange) . No 2 button navigation mode option which is annoying too

Do we need to flash the realme ui firmware prior flashing this update, like we used to do for pixel experience roms and others or simply flash the legion OS, please post the step by step guide. One more thing is this rom used as a daily driver ,does anyone has reported any bug or so. please respond. i would also like to now whether this rom got monthly updates and tweaks.

I installed this ROM 2 weeks ago, and this is a wonderfull rom.
No gapps for me. It was a pretty difficult in beginning, but now the rom give me its all theses capacities.
No exfat => ok, sdcard formated
Magisk installed
The unlock face doesn't work corectly, so i use the finger print.
The many legion settings are very nice to customize the phone.
No bug for me

Where is the face unlock? I can't see it in the configuration... Or isn't working?
Guys, i need help - that's first timer i have something like this.
after flashing, only what i have is a bootloop - both, when I try to start the system (Logo Redmi and reset) , or when i try to enter in recovery.
As if after flashing something jerked the recovery partition.
On the other hand - I tried to run recovery raw without flashing, from adb - the same happens, attempts to enter the mode end with the twrp logo and reset in the loop.
Any ideas? advance questions - done everything according to the procedure, I didn't do it for the first time.
At this moment, all what i can do is flash miui from fastboot mode in MiFlashTool. I will try flash the rom again, but... What the hell? ^^

after flashing just use format data option in wipe section in TWRP and restart system. It worked for me.

Does it have 3 buttons navigation INVERTED option?
That is mandatory for me to test it and hopefully use it on a daily basis
charging animation doesn't show..also there is no sign appear when i plug in charger in my phone..what can i do now?

Lower your expectations, you can download the MIUI camera from elsewhere considering this is an AOSP ROM.
This is incredibly fast and makes my phone feel brand new again, this time a lot faster.
So far no bugs from me, have flashed the MIUI camera and it works great. Thanks for the ROM.

Nice one...im searching for a good custom rom again. This could be the one. Im currently on latest MIUI, unlocked. How to install this? TWRP? Pixel Recovery? What firmware(sweetin) do I need on my phone as a base?

well yeah...which one? theres nothing in this topic. Just want to know the requirements.
How do i install this bro ? I was on stock miui 12. Then i unlocked bootloader, boot into recovery and then wipe cache/data/dalvik and then installed the rom PixelExtended_sweet-12.0-20211218-1649-OFFICIAL.zip. It got installed but when I clicked reboot it booted into recovery. So I power off and then tried booting still it booted into recovery. Please help.
Also add some few liners for the installation instructions. Too hard to figure out for newbies or also for some guys who have done this before @zaidkhan0997
Also now when I boot into recovery it does not get mounted automatically the computer doesnt recognize the device. When I disable and enable mtp then it does. But whatever I paste into the internal storage is nowhere seen. It always shows sdcard/ folder empty. Please help man @zaidkhan0997

I forgot to format data. It works now.
