Xposed Bootloop - Samsung Galaxy J700T & J700T1 ROMs, Kernels, Recov

Hi I recently posted on General on another account, but recently remembered I had this account. I have a Samsung GALAXY J7 MetroPCS Variant with the S5 Neo Custom ROM installed. Everytime I flash the Xposed Zip I get stuck on a bootloop and my screen will stay black for 5 minutes then show the Samsung Logo but never boots up completely to the OS. I was curious as to why and how I could fix this! Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have TWRP installed as my Recovery.

That means the xposed framework is not supported for your device
Time to change the generation and move to new generation
Boot to recovery
Wipe data and system
Install the ROM you have
Boot up and
Root
Then use magisk to do same thing as xposed..do

Hello. I'm sorry but actually there's no lollipop for our device, however there is cm 11 with kitkat 4.4.4 but it isn't 100% stable. There's also cm 10.1, the android version maybe be a little old but it's more stable.
To flash this roms, you need this CWM
And for rooting, I think the easiest way is using Cydia Impactor
Boot loop..
Hi. I got a Samsung GT-S6012 that keeps rebooting the Samsung logo and doesn't start. At first I got the phone stuck on the very first logo with Samsung model name. So I did some search. Downloaded Odin and latest 4.1.2 official firmware for that phone model flashed it. Everything worked for a few days but then the battery ran out and phone shut down and when I turned it on again it got stuck on the very first logo and nothing. Then I flashed the same firmware again to get it running and when I checked it the flashing didn't really fully wiped the internal memory cause the data in it was still in tact. So I thought I need full wipe to fix the phone. So installed custom recovery, rooted it and flashed CM 10.1 on it. It was running very smooth everything seemed okay but I wanted the stock rom. So I went to recovery wiped whatever was possible and flashed the stock firmware in download mode again. And now I got stuck on the second Samsung logo and it keeps rebooting it self. I recognize that I cannot wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache in now stock recovery cause it gives me android logo within it a red flag. The wipe cache supposed to fix boot loop problem but it's not an option for me anymore. All I can do now is just enter Download mode. I'm downloading 4.0.4 firmware and gonna try to flash that one see if it works but I doubt. Can anyone suggest me a way to fix it? Please I'm really desperate.

S5 mini DUOS

Hi,
I have my S5 mini duos sm-g800h successfully rooted (CF Auto Root.tar). Image G800HXXU1ANK2_G800HOXY1ANK2_G800HXXU1ANK2_HOME.tar.md5 is installed. Everything so far also i.O. But who do I restart my phone, then does a reboot - twice. The third time it will hang at boot (SAMSUNG - LOGO).
Then I have in the recovery mode, wipe cache and then it starts normally.

From my little experience I guess your problem lies in the rooting, the stock rom itself without rooting is working smoothly with no such problem, I guess Chainfire's CF Auto Root.tar that you used was intended for an older build and might not be compatible with the latest firmware that you updated to, according to Chainfire's site the Auto Root image is based on the G800HXXU1ANH4 build, my advise is to restore the stock rom without rooting and wait for Chainfire to update the Auto Root image to be compatible with the latest firmware.
I also think that way.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite Root Problems

Hi, XDA members,
I recently rooted my gadget Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite SM-T1100 using ODIN software to flash a custom recovery which is the ClockWorkMod. The flashing went well and after that, I boot to custom recovery to make a flash of the file "android-armeabi-universal-root-signed" and reboot the system. After rebooting, my device has already been rooted. But for a reason I did not understand I tend to restore my device to it's factory default settings thru the tablet settings, after that, it only boot to the custom recovery and did not boot again to homescreen. I know this is because of the deleted OS on my tablet due to factory reset that I've done. Please help me bring back my gadget to life since I already searched for =different kinds of Stock Firmware to recover its deleted OS and bring back to it's original form. Your help will be much appreciated since I really badly need this gadget back to work. I need a step by step instructions and all the links that I'll be needing to bring back my tablet to life again. Thank you very much guys!
Condition: Every time I open my tablet all it does is to flash its name SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 3 LITE SM-T1100 and after that it will boot to my custom recovery which is ClockWorkMod and there is nothing to do.
What I've done before the incident: I rooted it and the rooting process went well. But after that I preferred making a factory reset and poof! There is the PROBLEM
CRITICAL FILES: No, I don't have any files to be backed up and yes. I did not make a Back up or what they called Nandroid...

Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE i-9305
Hello everyone, first post and I need help :crying::crying:
Today I tried backing up my rom on CWM recovery but it was always getting stuck on "Generating MD5 sum"
So I decided to switch to TWRP. I downloaded the TWRP app from the play store. I picked my device, picked the latest
version and downloaded. Then the app asked me if I wanted to reboot into recovery (something like that, I don't exactly remember what it was) and I pressed yes. The phone turned off and rebooted however I don't know what happened but now my phone is starts, shows the [Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE i-9305] screen for about 3 seconds then goes black and again shows the [Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE i-9305] screen repeatedly. I don't know what to do :crying:
My phone is rooted with CM11 flashed. So I can't give it in for a repair as they would be able to tell if I am rooted because of the KNOX warranty void: 1 thing :crying::crying: What can I do now??
NOTE: I can't reboot into recovery, only bootloader.
can you reboot into downloading mode ((home+power+volume-)?
if yes, with odin, try to flash again the recovery (i prefer PhilZ recovery on my i9305) and later try to backup your phone.

[Fixed v15.1] Dont install Magisk v15.0 on Galaxy S8 (Exynos)

I can confirm it does NOT work like it should for Galaxy S8 (Exynos European).
Steps I have taken:
- Uninstalled Magisk
- Recovered to a 2 month old TWRP backup with Magisk uninstalled.
- Tried installing v15.0 by flashing in TWRP.
- Freezes on carrier screen (Waited atleast 15 minutes)
- Still frozen.
- Recovered back to before I installed v15.0 and then installed v14.0 the same exact way.
- Got to lock screen within 30 seconds.
There is DEFINITELY some issues with v15.0 for Galaxy S8 (Exynos) and I advise using it for now.
Fixed on v15.1, thanks dev!
I updated from v14 to v15 without issues
Running smooth as butter
S8 plus Batman Rom

Could be your custom ROM, Im on Stock and that could be a factor.
Working without any problems. Flash Uninstaller, flash kernel, flash v15

Got the same problem on my S7, stock ROM.
I'm on S8+ Batman ROM and my phone gets stuck on the Samsung logo screen. I'll have to reflash everything. Ugh. That'll teach me to update when the app asks me to.
Magisk v15 is working fine on my S7 edge exynos stock nougat rom.
Stock s8, installed magisk 15.0 without issue (manager first, then boot to twrp and flash APK)
Batstock kernel

Upgrading from Magisk v14 to v15 caused a bootloop on my A520F with Nougat. What have you done to get out of boot loop? I tried installing v14 and uninstalling Magisk, but neither seem to have made a difference.
Hello I've tried my luck with my Galaxy S8 + G955F and the Android Oreo 8.0 Beta from Samsung. Root works very well, the phone is running well but both with Magisk Version: v14.0 & v15.0 always no Safetynet pass unfortunately. It always comes only false. Maybe there is still a fix in the future would be happy.

What did you do to get v15.1 to work? I installed v15 and it caused a boot loop, v14 didn't seem to change anything. Just did v15.1 and now it's just hanging on the first screen (Samsung Galaxy A5, not the pulsing Samsung screen I've had it hang on before). I've never seen this before.

From what I can tell, your Boot Image is screwed. Did you backup when your phone was booting? If so, use magisk uninstaller, clear dalvik/cache, use recovery just the boot image from it and clear dalvik/cache then reboot and let it load to homescreen, u now have no magisk, now reboot into recovery, install 15.1 and reboot and you should get past all the screens within minutes. Took me total like 1-2 mins to get to homescreen.

Thanks. It looks like the only backup I have though is of /System, /Recovery, and /EFS. I don't have a working /Boot backed up. Is there anyway I can get one from somewhere else? Or wipe it and start fresh?

Im not too sure, but maybe you can do a FULL backup of what you have now, install fresh, backup Boot Image only, recovery your full broken backup, and recover Boot Image == profit??

That's a good idea, thanks. What exactly do you mean by install fresh? Stock image sideloaded via Odin? Do you have a good source for the right images for this phone?

Rooting shouldn't, but you might have to do stuff beforehand that would. Unlocking the bootloader, as an example.
I thought europan Samsung got unlocked bootloaders .
In developer option is the option - Unlock OEM . Turning this on wipes my current data ?
