Stay Logged Into App Through Unroot and Reroot - Magisk

So because of the new safetynet updates I can no longer log into snapchat on my phone even with magisk disabled because safetynet fails just because of an unlocked bootloader.
I need some way to lock my bootloader log into snapchat relock my bootloader and stay logged into snapchat.
Is there any way this could ever be possible? Or because to lock and unlock your bootloader it needs to do a factory reset this is impossible?
Or if there's some way to log into snapchat and store the preferences with preferences manager or something to login

Currently the only way to use Snapchat on an unlocked device is if you were already logged in before googles updated safetynet came into effect, preferences manager won't really work because you would need to be rooted and bootloader unlocked to use it.

Sorry I dont use snapchat but have you tried hiding snapchat via magisk hide?
Also in magisk manager how is the status of safetynet?
My magisk is able to hide apps from safetynet such as banking apps, pokemon go and ingress.
But my safety net status is "pass" on magisk manager.

does snapchat work on magisk currently?

after using snapchat for a while on rooted devices this is the first time that ive run into this issue of not being able to login. i honestly thought it was a password issue at first, which sucks because now i cant load my titanium backup of snapchat. so i disabled root on slimbean (which comes pre rooted) and installed magisk, after which im still not able to login. so i just want to know if magisk can still work to login to snapchat at this point.

i just ended up installing carbon roms and logging in before i installed magisk and will just backup to titanium. that seems like the best method to make sure it continues to work
Log in snapchat before rooting your phone and everything will be working fine

Xiaomi lock app

Hello,
On my Xiaomi MI8 phone I have locked some apps since a long time and I unlock them with my fingerprint.
Few days ago, I installed Magisk Manager for passing Safety Check Check. I see all files are crypted in twrp. I removed the password on the lock screen and after that I see all files uncrypted in twrp.
I install Magisk from twrp, the flash brick the phone and I uninstall from twrp with Magisk-uninstaller-20190501.zip
That strange is after uninstall the phone boot well and pass the safetycheck (I can install Netlix from play strore now), but this is not the topic...
But after that when I click on a locked app, security ask me to unlock with gesture. Fingerprint doesn't work anymore. But I have forgotten my previous gesture... I set a new one but it doesn't work !
The phone is rooted with magisk even if I uninstall for unbrick the phone (I can su with adb shell), and I hope there is a way to remove the lock on the locked apps.
There is a way to do that ?
Note the phone is not linked to a Xiaomi account and I can't unlock by this way.
Thank you.

Will removing magisk stop other apps detecting root on my xz1 compact?

I have magisk 20.4 and magisk manager 8 installed on my phone. Magisk passes safetynet but some apps are still able to detect root and do not work.
I am planning to give my phone to my mother and buy a new model. But my mother also uses apps which can detect root on my phone and won't accept the phone If these apps don't work. If I uninstalled magisk and magisk manager will these apps stop detecting root?
Does anyone kno any way to relock bootloader and root ?

There is no way to relock the bootloader and to remove root simply reflash stock FW.

Some annoying banking apps are now detecting root - even with Magisk Hide, renaming the magisk mangaer package, etc.
Yes, going into Magisk Manager and doing a full unroot/uninstall will allow most apps to work again .

Yeah the major 1 detecting root on my phone is a banking app only.

Question Does unlocking and flashing a custom rom mess up payment apps

With google coming up with increasingly stricter policies of what deems a device safe and rise of hardware attestation for safetynet, does the note 10 face these issues, or do the payment/banking apps work fine?
I have a Samsung A51 and once my device was rooted the Samsung Pass application will not allow me to record and use any security passwords or biometric security. The application gives me a message stating that because my device is rooted I can no longer use Samsung Pass. However, I am still able to use passwords and biometrics on my bank accounts application.
Last year, I changed the firmware of the LG V35 ThinQ I had and Google Pay would not work for me.
if it comes rooted yes , you will have to hide the root otherwise wont work
Everything works fine for me. I'm using a custom rom and I'm rooted. Play store shows my device is certified, and it passes safetynet on magisk.

What is the best way to hide the root?
To hide root, enable magisk hide, and change the magisk manager to something else, like mgsk. I enable gpay in magisk hide, and even changed magisk manager to mgsk (You can use any name, but remember the name you change to), and I'm now able to access gpay. Works everytime.

Question Downsides of rooting?

I received today my pixel 7 and I'm planning to root it. I wonder what are the downsides of rooting... For example, on my previous phone (oneplus 7), unlocking the bootloader would change widevine from L1 to L3... Will I lose widevine L1 if I root the Pixel 7? Will I still be able to update via OTA? Are there any other downsides which I need to be aware of before rooting? Except for google pay, which I don't use
No, you won't lose Widevine L1
Yes, you will get OTAs. However, it's failing to install on mine. Might need to unroot and install the update (I am not sure).
I can't think of any other downside.
For banking apps to work perfectly, do these:
1. Repackage to hide the Magisk app
2. Enable Zygisk in Magisk
3. Enforce DenyList in Magisk
4. Configure DenyList and check all the boxes for the apps you want to hide root access
5. Use AirFrozen to freeze Magisk (unfreeze whenever you need to grant root access to any app)
