With Aurora Store you should be able to download the paid version app extension (given you sign in with your own Google account and have paid for the full version :laugh:

Thanks, good to know.

Gestural quick app switch does not work with Nova .. other gestures are ok

There are detailed instructions on Android Hilfe (in German). I translated them:
1. Perform a factory reset of the phone.
2. Install Services Core.
3. Install Services Framework Proxy.
4. Install the FakeStore.
5. Open the Microg Settings app. Grant it all permissions and disable battery optimizations.
5.1 Add your Google account.
5.2 Turn on Device Registration, Cloud Messaging and SafetyNet.
5.3 Restart your phone.
6. Open Microg Settings app, check the status under Cloud Messaging. If it says not connected enter the following in the phone app: *#*#2432546#*#* and restart your phone. Check the status again - it should say Connected. (I had to enter the phone string and restart my phone twice until it said connected).
All this will give you is push notifications since we can not enable signature spoofing. If you restore apps from a backup you may have to delete their cache/and or data before they start using Microg for their messaging.
Instead of the Fakestore you can apparently also use LzPlay and install the real Play Store later (delete the Fakestore first) . I haven't tried that though because I don't want to use that app.

Thanks, I am now connected in the GCM But in the list of google cloud messaging apps ... I have about 15 apps now connected but only the Outlook app has processed a notification and the other apps are not ...
Outlook app - 'Last message: 2 minutes ago, 9.12am'
Skype - 'No messages received so far'
When you test with the app linked in this page, do you have x4 green ticks? I only had x3 green checks and was missing google play services ...

I can't update google app to 5.2.33 via playstore. It is still 5.1.17 and no update notofication. Even when i update it manually, in playstore it is 5.1.17. I cleared chache and all that stuff. Uninstall and install all again. All other apps are up to date. Only thos one. My device is pure stock, no root. Please help me to solve this issue.

unfortunately for me, it fails to install....on Preview 3
you wont be able to install it without root. it does not install like a regular app. you need to place it into either /system/app/ or /system/priv-app/ then reboot for it to install itself. stock you cant do that, with root you can.

I am curious why you want to update.
On my N6 Google app 4.1.29 etc is still working. Downgrade was necessary, else the Black Google Now launcher will become white instead of black.
Secondly I need to block Google app from updating.
Maybe you need to check your settings concerning auto updates.
Play store - My apps - Google app - above right 3 dots - auto update - check box.

updating it to 5.2 changes googles layouts for google now(more colorful and better tiles for info), and it changes your app drawerer to a side scrolling version, instead of the m up and down version. i changed mine yesterday to see what the big deal is. to be honest, google now looks much better.

I'll be honest to. I am using dpi 384. And the Black Google Now launcher. I love it and the drawer has also side scrolling.
I wish I had the power to kick Google's ass to make sure we get a marshmallow with a Light/Dark Material switch.
The problem did not dissapeared. I'd installed google app 5.2 manually and it works but in playstore it is still 5.1. Factory reset do not work
Playstore updated to new 5.9.11 and the problem solved. Thanks all. Please close the topic

Action Launcher 3 supports swipe for Google Now integration (root users only)

Looks like Action Launcher 3 now supports swiping right to access the Google Now page. I've gone ahead and gone through the process of enabling it on my OP3 and 6P and so far it's been flawless. Very happy to finally have this feature back.
To enable this feature you have to install Action Launcher 3 as a system app. To do this, you must do the following:
1) Download the Action Launcher APK from here: APK Mirror Link
2) Push the APK to your device by using ADB commands to type the following adb push action3.apk /sdcard/
3) Move the APK to system partition by typing the following...
adb shell
su
mount -o rw,remount /system
mv /sdcard/action3.apk /system/priv-app
chmod 644 /system/priv-app/action3.apk
mount -o ro,remount /system
exit
exit
4) Reboot (ADB reboot)
5) Once you reboot, Action Launcher 3 will be installed as a system app. Let the app update to 3.8.1 from the playstore.
6) Once Action Launcher is updated enable Google Now integration by going to Action Launcher Settings > Desktop> Google Now Integration (Alpha)
It should now be enabled. Swiping right on the home screen slides the Google Now page into frame, just like with the stock Google launcher.

Hey I just did this and it worked.... All I had to do was change the app to a system app in rom toolbox and reboot the phone.... Then the option appeared in the action launcher settings.... Working great so far. Good find @sn0warmy
I used Titanium backup to convert it to system app and it worked fine, but you must have action launcher plus (paid version) to use the Google now swipe
I love it.

Does this work on N preview? I'm on the paid version, not going to root unless this is working because I use Android pay. Love the app, the current version is a lot smoother than older versions. Seems just as snappy as Google now launcher.

Did you try with the Google App Beta? That may be the main cause. Or maybe Android N-ify is not activated in xposed modules. Do give a reboot after enabling it in Xposed

Say the can't connect, try again later.

Get ARCore for OnePlus 3

OnePlus decided to give official ARCore support only to OnePlus 3T, despite OnePlus 3 has the required hardware to run it. Lucklily, changing the fingerprint model to the 3T one, makes it totally working (you'll just need to install apps from apks instead of directly through Play Store).
MAGISK IS REQUIRED FOR THIS PROCEDURE
FAST PROCEDURE (RECOMMENDED)
1) Install this module
2) Reboot
MANUAL PROCEDURE
1) Install the Magisk Module Magisk Hide Props Config;
2) Reboot your device after installation ;
3) Install a terminal emulator, every emulator should be OK, I have used this one for example;
4) Open terminal emulator and write su and grant root access;
5) Type props and follow the procedure to edit fingerprint;
6) Once done, close terminal emulator;
7) Install latest ARCore from apkmirror
Be careful to install an Arm64 apk, otherwise it won't work.
Now you can enjoy ARCore officially on your OnePlus 3, give thanks if it's been useful.
Notes:
1) Playground doesn't work on non-pixel devices, so if you want it, install Arnova patched version;
2) if you want to install and update ARCore and apps and plugins linked to it via Play Store, you can use the Magisk module Xmlpak . It's already included on module in recommended procedure, so if you've followed it, you don't need Xmlpak.
3) To download ARCore use this link;
4) if you are an Oxygen OS user, it's recommended to restore OnePlus 3 fingerprint before downloading updates.
Credits:
@emuandco and @tazzkiller for the procedure located here, that I took for this guide;

Well, ty
Awesome. But it's disappointing that Google didn't support OP3 where 3/3T back camera is exact same.

The support isn't provided from Google, but from OnePlus, that has been the only company extending support for a 2016 model
Guys, now the apps that use ARCore can be downloaded directly through Play Store with xmlpak Big thank to @j1505243 for making it possible.
N.B. ARCore itself has still to be downloaded through apkmirror, like some other apps such as AR Stickers and Playground that are avaiable only for Pixel devices (their add-ons are downloadable)

So, you've waited for so many days for LG to push the pie update to our beloved devices but the UI/UX they delivered isn't upto your expectations and you want a ROM which has VoLTE/VoWi-Fi functionality with the AOSP goodness?
If your answer is yes, then follow the step by step instructions to modify your LG Stock ROM based on Android Pie look and feel like AOSP Pie!
I HOPE YOU'RE ROOTED!!

Step 2: Install Google Dialer Framework Magisk module from Magisk download section. Then clear data of Google Play Store and search for
Phone. Install the result that says Google Inc.
Step 3: Install Messages, Calendar by Google and set all the default apps from Settings->Apps & Notifications->Default Apps
Step 4: Install Quickswitch Magisk module from Magisk download section.
Step 5: Download Lawnchair Launcher attached in this post. (Remember no other launcher will work except the one provided here, reason being
that QuickSwitch doesn't work on our device. So, I repackaged the Lawnchair Launcher with the Package name of LG Home)
Step 6: Delete LG Home from /system/priv-app/LG-Home (Delete the entire folder) and restart
Step 7: Select EasyHome on startup and open your file manager to install the Lawnchair that's uploaded here.
Step 8: Open QuickSwitch and then reboot.
Step 9: Voila, you now have AOSP Goodness!!

But this the closest you can get to AOSP on stock currently.
Thank you! Works great. The stock recents was terrible and very slow and sluggish! Thanks for your support and hope you will continue iterating this in to future Lawnchair releases!

Yes, Every 2nd week i'll update the thread with the latest launcher
Quickswitch is a mod which integrates pie recents or app switcher to launcher eg lawnchair...
This is not supported in oreo as it does not work..
I tried your method... On repeated basis..
Quickswitch app was not available after installation....
Although your laenchair works... Without the quickswitch..
Well i like pie recents... Anyone have any idea how to get that on oreo? I searched alot.. Had no luck

Does this work with normal buttons or do you have to use the pie gestures for it to work? Thanks

Either of them will work. I'm using Fluid NG by the way.
