About xXx NoLimits
xXx NoLimits is an OxygenOS Stock ROM enhancement for
the OP8/OP8pro with OOS/H2OS based on Android 10/11
☆
xXx NoLimits is not a traditional Rom as it does not include any OOS Rom components like Firmware, System, Vendor partitions or the Kernel. It's actually a Magisk Module which enhance your OOS/H2OS ROM base with a comprehensive set of complementary apps, functions, tweaks and debloats.
As a Magisk Module running on top of the OOS stock rom, xXx NoLimits works 100% Systemless and provide you with plenty of options to be selectively installed. This way you get most of the typical things you usually have to collect and install one by one all out of the box.
Advantages over a OOS based full rom concept
- Works independent of the current OOS Rom version
- Still working after OOS version upgrade
- Support OOS Stock Rom OTA's
- When a new OOS OTA is available, just run the OOS update, flash Magisk again and xXx NoLimits is still in place and working like before
- Complete Systemless - Does not touch the system or vendor partition at all
- Debloating without touching the system partition.
- You can change debloat options and simply flash xXx NoLimits again without the need to install the OOS stock rom again.
- smaller and faster download
*
Must Requirements
- OOS Stock Rom with basic android setup in place
- Working Magisk in place
- Flashing via Magisk Manager or TWRP (Magisk Manager strongly recommended)
My focus with this Rom enhancement is to provide a smooth and snappy user experience with a decent battery life with selected additional functions, tweaks and mods which, for my taste, are missing in the stock OOS Rom.
*
This is just a hobby and not a commercial project. I developed this for my daily driver device and I share it with you.

xXx System Tweaks
I added several tweaks on different levels to provide a fast and snappy user experience.
These tweaks also improve multitasking and maintain the system to be constantly fast.
If you like apps to popup in virtual no time I recommend you to not close them when you change to another app but just put them to the background.
xXx Tweaks includes:
WiFi channel bonding for the 2.4GHz frequency
Detaching of modded apps
Disable ZRam & ZSwap
Disable Google Play Wakelocks for better battery life
LMK Tweaks to use all RAM down to about 700MB left for best multitasking
Rebuild Dalvik Cache
Universal GMS Doze
Kernel Tweaks
…and several more
Debloating
The rom provides you with the full range of debloat options. From not debloated at all (like OOS stock) to max debloated.
The advantage of debloating is to reduce background load which potentially let Android gain more speed and save battery as less apps and services are running and leaves even more RAM to hold your favorite apps in background.
The downside is that you might miss certain apps or functionality if you overdo it.
Sound Enhancement
xXx NoLimits includes ViPER4AndroidFX by default unless you disable it in the flash options. I also included my favorite sound profile which you will love for sure as well. Otherwise select the full profile package as well.
Dolby Digital is also available as an option and work side by side with Viper and the Stereo mod.
Boot Animations
xXx NoLimits includes already a selection of different boot animations. You can also use your own bootanimation. In this case, simply copy the bootanimation.zip file to the /sdcard/xXx/ folder and set the option BootanimationinxXxFolder = 1 in the xXx.NoLimits.profile. Make sure all other boot animation options are set to 0 and that the filename is exactly bootanimation.zip.
With this setup you can replace the bootanimation.zip file any time and it will be in place with a simple reboot. No reflashing required in this case.
Bootloop Protection
If the android boot process takes longer than 3 minutes, the NoLimits module will be automatically uninstalled and the device will reboot without NoLimits.
This way you can riskless enable debloat options which might end up in a bootloop. If your device stuck in a bootloop because of NoLimits, simply wait max 3 minutes and it will reboot again without NoLimits.
YouTube Vanced self-healing
The Play Store is randomly checking if there are installed apps which are available in the Play store. If the Play Store find YouTube or YouTube vanced (same signature), it will add it to its database. From that point on, YouTube will be listed among all apps to be updated next time.
If you have enabled YouTube Vanced in the profile, NoLimits will check every minute and remove any YouTube reference from the Play Store database. Also, if YouTube was accidentally updated already, it will be automatically reverted to YouTube Vanced again.
In case you see YouTube listed in the Play Store, simply wait max. 1 minute and it should disappear again. If this don’t happen, check if your device still have root access, as without root, the NoLimits script stop working. In this case, simply reboot android and everything should be fixed again in about 1 minute after the reboot.
Systemizing Apps
For all who have issues with apps being killed in the background even they are marked as not to be battery optimized. If this happens, you won't get notifications anymore from that specific app and next time you jump to that app it have to be loaded again instead of still being available in Ram.
In order to work around this issue, you can now place your critical apps as apk file with any filename in the following folder:
/sdcard/xXx/apps
All apk files will be installed as system apps when you flash NoLimits next time.
Now your selected apps will behave like a system app and as system apps are excluded from battery optimization mechanisms, they are most likely not killed anymore in background.
Let's say you want to do this with Whatsapp and have Whatsapp already installed as user app. This is not a problem. You don't lose any data and if updates are available, they will be applied by the Playstore like always. The apps are installed system-less as part of the NoLimits Magisk Module and NOT placed on the system partition.
If you want to add further apps, just place the apk files in /sdcard/xXx/apps and flash NoLimits again. Or if you want to remove some, or all apps simple remove the apk's or remove the apps folder and flash NoLimits again.
if you disable or uninstall NoLimits, all systemized apps are gone but remain as user apps to ensure apps like launcher etc. remain working.
☆
How to uninstall NoLimits?
NoLimits will be completely uninstalled without residue when you select the respective waste bin symbol under the Magisk Manager "Modules" menu and reboot android.
The removal process triggers an uninstaller script which will revert Window animation speed, several disabled Google Services and Analytics items as well as all apps prior installed by NoLimits

Flash Instructions - xXx NoLimits OP8pro
Flash Instructions
xXx NoLimits is not a Rom itself but it's a Magisk Module which works exactly like all my previous Roms except that it does not include any OOS Rom components like Firmware, System, Vendor partitions or the Kernel.
In combination with the OOS stock Rom it still provides you with all options you might have used already with my previous Rom versions.
Must Requirements
OOS Stock Rom with basic android setup in place
A working Magisk in place
Android 11 users have to flash with Magisk 21.0 or higher.
Even on A10, DON'T flash with TWRP!
Prerequisite to flash xXx NoLimits - xXx.NoLimits.profile
Unfortunately, todays TWRP don’t support Aroma Installers anymore.
In order to still provide you with the possibility to choose your favorite options to be flashed the rom is using a file called “xXx.NoLimits.profile” as a reference for all your individual settings.
If you just flash the xXx NoLimits rom.zip without placing your individual edited xXx.NoLimits.profile to the sdcard default settings are used for flashing. This means you can just flash the xXx NoLimits rom but if you like to set your own preference presets you have to either edit the file or you extract the file from the rom.zip and copy it to the /sdcard/xXx folder on your device.
The xXx NoLimits installer detects automatically if you have the “xXx.NoLimits.profile” on your sdcard or not. If not it will use the presets from the profile included in the rom.zip. So the priority is the profile on your sdcard. If you install the rom via OTG you can also place the profile to the root of your usb-stick and this will have priority over the profile on the internal sdcard storage or the rom.zip.
Basic Instruction how to edit the “xXx.NoLimits.profile” you will find inside the file.
Just one more important information. If you are editing the profile on your Windows PC you must use Notepad++ otherwise you destroy the required file format.
You can download the xXx.NoLimits.profile here

Changelog for v11.0
v11.0 is the initial release for the OP8pro to be found here, but still fully work on the OP7pro
- Anyhow, from now on I only own the OP8pro and therefore I'm not being able to test and fix issues for any of my previous devices
- "No Support anymore for other devices" means that the latest version might work on other devices, but you have to help yourself in case you experience any issues.
- I still left my xda thread for the OP7, OP6 and OP5 device family open, so users can still post there and help each other.
Added a new option to force a fixed low or high display refresh rate
- Option is named DisplayRefreshRate =
- 0 = Do nothing
- 1 = 60hz on OP8 & OP7 device family
- 2 = 120hz on OP8pro / 90hz on OP7T & OP7pro
Added tons of new debloat items to cover the new stuff on the OP8pro
Updated AdAway to v5.0.2
Updated OverlayFix by Zackptg5 to v2.1
Updated Google Dialer app to v47
Several other optimizations under the hood
xXx.NoLimits.profile is on version 55 and auto update itself from previous versions

The ROM god strikes again! :victory:

Thanks, flashed perfectly.
I've asked this in another thread, but to thought I'd try here. Anyway to get rid of the Tips & support menu in the main Settings list?
Sent from my OnePlus 8 Pro using XDA Labs

Great work
Someone already tried it on op6?

Let's rock the house! Nice

I suppose this would require to mod at least the settings apk. For several reasons I don't want to do that

great work!
I never got to use this on 7 Pro as it only worked on non 5G version.
Shame TWRP for android 10 is not ready, No AOSP ROMs for us for a while.

This is what I was waiting for.
It's been a long time man, how are you ? @xXx
Rooting tomorrow.
You got the CRT screen off animation in there?

Good to see you back on the same device again.
NoLimits don't include CRT screen off animations. Never took care about that. Hence I have no suggestion for you how to get that.

I installed the rom fine, but it didn't install viper is this because I have to fill out the XXX.profile requesting it to install?
sorry new to one plus and your roms
keep up the great work.

you need to edit the profile in the xXx folder and set all options you would like to be in place. Then simply reflash NoLimits.

About xXx NoLimits
xXx NoLimits is an OxygenOS Stock ROM enhancement for OnePlus 6/6T (Enchilada)
☆
xXx NoLimits is not a Rom itself but it's a Magisk Module which works exactly like all my previous Roms except that it does not include any OOS Rom components like Firmware, System, Vendor partitions or the Kernel. Therefore the size went down to about 200MB+. In combination with the OOS stock Rom it still provides you with all options you might have used already with my previous Rom versions.
As a Magisk Module running on top of the OOS stock rom, xXx NoLimits works 100% Systemless and provide you with plenty of options to be selectively installed. This way you get most of the typical things you usually have to collect and install one by one all out of the box.

xXx System Tweaks
I added several tweaks on different levels to make the rom faster and snappy.
These tweaks also improve multitasking and maintain the system to be constantly fast.
6/8 GB RAM can (and should) hold a lot apps and services in the background. If you like apps to popup in virtual no time I recommend you to not close them when you change to another app but just put them to the background. Also, when speed is more important to you than window animations you can reduce the 3 Animation scale values in the developer options and select the AKT Burnout Kernel Profile.
xXx Tweaks includes There are also several more features under the hood like:
WiFi channel bonding for the 2.4GHz frequency
ART Optimization
Detaching of modded apps
Disable Google Play Wakelocks for better battery life
LMK Tweaks to use all RAM down to about 700MB left for best multitasking
Magisk Health Check
Kernel Tweaks
…and several more
Debloating
The rom provides you with the full range off not debloated at all (like OOS stock) to max debloated.
I also included a flash option to select Extreme Debloating. This will debloat the rom down close to a core Android level. You need to enable this option to take advantage of it.
The advantage of debloating is to gain even more speed and battery saving as less unused apps and services are running or even more free RAM to hold your favorite apps in background.
The downside is that you might miss certain apps or functionality but definitely nothing what will make your android unstable. All Google Apps are all available via Play Store as well.
Sound Enhancement
xXx NoLimits includes ViPER4AndroidFX by default unless you disable it in the flash options. I also included my favorite sound profile which you will love for sure as well. Otherwise select the full profile package as well.
Dolby Atmos is also available as an option and work side by side with Viper and the Stereo mod.
☆
xXx NoLimits Uninstaller
You could simply uninstall NoLimits with the Magisk Manager uninstaller but NoLimits is also changing Window animation speed and disable several Google Services in order to block wakelocks and disable Google Analytics for all installed apps. These changes can't be done systemless. These changes are persistent stored on the data partition.
The NoLimits uninstaller uninstall NoLimits and revert all changes back to stock settings.
Uninstaller Exceptions
GCam and Substratum apps are kept as people might still use these apps and want to keep them. They can easily be uninstalled like you do with any other user app.
xXx folder on the sdcard also remain as you might have stored files in there which you might want to keep. Simply remove it with a standard file explore.
How to use the NoLimits uninstaller?
It can be flashed via TWRP or Magisk Manager.
After flashing, the xXx NoLimits module will be removed and a NoLimits uninstaller Magisk module is in place instead.
After rebooting, the NoLimits uninstaller completes all remaining tasks and automatically remove itself. Don't touch it. This process could take up to 5 min. when you had Google Analytics removal option enabled. The time depends on the number of user apps you have in place.
I suggest to create a Nandroid backup in TWRP before running the uninstaller to be able to go back any time to the previous state.
☆
Further improving user experience
The Kernel Tweaks option provide some further optimizations for better performance. I recommend to use the SmurfKernel by @pappschlumpf.
I'm running this combo with Kernel Tweaks enabled myself and my device is awesome fast, lag free and battery friendly.

Latest xXx NoLimits Download
xXx NoLimits follow an unified "one installer fits all" concept.
Latest xXx NoLimits version is still working on this device and can be downloaded here in my OP8pro thread
Why is there no dedicated xXx NoLimits version for this device?
xXx NoLimits follow an unified "one installer fits all" concept and even I currently own the OP8pro only, I still take care that NoLimits remains compatible with older OnePlus devices.
Even though, this is a hobby project and I try to keep my time investments low. Therefore, my main efforts are focused on my daily driver which is the OP8pro.
I still keep my xda thread open for older devices, so that users can still help each other in the respective NoLimits thread.

Flash Instructions - xXx NoLimits OP6
Flash Instructions
xXx NoLimits is not a Rom itself but it's a Magisk Module which works exactly like all my previous Roms except that it does not include any OOS Rom components like Firmware, System, Vendor partitions or the Kernel.
In combination with the OOS stock Rom it still provides you with all options you might have used already with my previous Rom versions.
Must Requirements
OOS Stock Rom with basic android setup in place
A working Magisk in place
NoLimits Installer can be flashed per TWRP or Magisk Manager
- On Magisk 19 or higher, flash per TWRP & Magisk Manager
- On Magisk 18.1 or older, flash per Magisk Manager only
TWRP Source
All files and instructions to get TWRP up and running you will find here:
Special thanks to lollyjay for creating the instructions and joemossjr for the unofficial TWRP
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/guide-how-to-install-official-twrp-t3801558
Prerequisite to flash the xXx NoLimits Rom - xXx.NoLimits.profile
Unfortunately, the current available TWRP don’t support Aroma Installers yet.
This means you can just flash the xXx NoLimits rom but if you like to set your own preference presets you have to either edit the file or you extract the file from the rom.zip and copy it to the /sdcard or /sdcard/xXx folder on your device.
You can download the xXx.NoLimits.profile here
Flashing xXx NoLimits

Update to a new OOS Stock Version
HTML:
The following 2 OOS Update methods are assuming that xXx NoLimits is currently up and running and will help you to update your device without having to use a PC or Fastboot.
Be aware that with the first update method you will lose TWRP and your custom kernel and have to flash that again next time you have access to your PC.
1) Update OOS via OTA Update Screen in Android
• Click Download and Install in Update Screen
• When it is asking for a reboot, goto Magisk Manager
• select Install and choose “Install to Second Slot”
• Go back to the Update Screen and click Restart
• Enjoy the new OOS rom version with xXx NoLimits fully working again
2) Update OOS via TWRP
• Download the OOS Full Zip and place it to your internal sdcard
• Make sure you have the Magisk and TWRP Installer stored on your internal sdcard
• Boot to TWRP
• Flash OOS Stock Rom.zip
• Flash TWRP Installer.zip
• Reboot the Recovery (TWRP)
• Flash Magisk
• Optional: Flash custom Kernel.zip
• Reboot to Android
• Enjoy the Rom

Welcome to Prometheus OneUI Rom For Galaxy J5/J7 2017
ONLY FOR J530X/J730X
Some information you should know..
This is a full Samsung OneUI port with android version 9.0
If you want to report a Bug, read the F.A.Q First Then provide a logCat OR LoggingKit.zip with detailed explanation
Read the instructions and the F.A.Q Before installing the rom or posting a reply.
[FOR DEVS] If you want to use this as a base for other exynos7870 Phones. Please ask first, and provide proper credits and links to the original thread.
Any sort of File Kanging will be reported without hesitation.
So, First we brought you the First Oreo based ROM. and now its Android Pie. Due to the nature of this release, and the fact that it comes before any Exynos7870 Official Android Pie. there might be
some bugs that me and testers could not have found yet. so please report them. Some bugs will be listed below and most of them would be unfixable until official is out for more 7870 Phones
The J5/J7 OneUI official update is still around 4+ months away, so this rom should keep you guys busy.
I have also included pretty much all the features of previous Prometheus ROMs, but some are impossible due to Pie specific issues (Deodexing is not possible without great problems)
As the nature of these ports go, it was a non stop battle for almost 3 weeks straight to get it to this point where all features are working as expected. if you appreacite this work Hit the Thanks button, and consider a donation
RULES OF POSTING : READ everything before commenting, And especially the instlal steps, the rom has been tested throughly for a long time, so if you have an critical issue like not booting or no sim, you missed the instructions, posts that are irrelevant to this project will be ignored(Constructive criticism is welcomed). If you do face a new bug however, dont just say "hey bug here" provide more information, and a LOGCAT, bug reports without logcats will most likely be ignored.

Great work Ana
This might not be that important.
Samsung Music app only plays music for around 9 seconds then closes the app. No Samsung Music app has stopped message, crashed or anything. It just goes to Home page after it closes.
When you don't play anything, the app doesn't close.
.
.
I dirty flashed without the app and flashed Sony Music through Magisk (Magisk module) and I don't have any issues with this music app.
.
.
A minor bug I presume.
Don't know how to share logs, I can learn how to if the developer thinks it's worth fixing.
Otherwise, I love this ROM so MUCH.
Wonderful work.

Nice Job

Here we go again! A CustomRom filled with Blazing FireKernel!
Battery charged only up to 39%
Face unlock does not work. Does not even allow to register the face. Switching to another ROM.
Thx for this ROM and your work.
What twrp version did you use to flash this ROM?
Im using 3.3.1-7 from Grarak and it doesnt seem to flash properly here hmm?
Hello! In sm-a705mn it does not work, it remains on the home screen (error network settings, wifi.etc) cannot advance :C
battery meter issue
once the device has booted up the battery procentage does not move even after 4 hours
Do you have some screenshots?
Good Work
Can somone provide screenshots?thx
First of all thank you for that great custom Rom. I have tried every Rom here on XDA a long time ago until i switched back to Stock.
But so far this Rom is great and it runs smooth.
I had a few problem at first like: My Data was encrypted and i couldn't install Apps from Playstore, i just had to do a Factory reset before flashing the Rom.
Then i had to remove Magisk & Magisk Manager completely and install it again because it is installed as a System App and Hide Magisk wasn't working properly.
If I start my Phone I get the following message "Android System There's an internal problem with your device. Contact your manufacturer for details." which isn't that big of a deal since i only have to tap "OK".
Another small thing I noticed: If I pull down the Quick Action it says "Can't find target package".
The much bigger problem is the battery percentage: If I start the Phone it shows me the actual Battery percentage but while using the Device or charging it it doesn't update it at all.
Device: A705FN - DBT
For peoples with "Banking App" or other App issues (Root detection - ctsProfile failed):
What i did:
- Like i said in my short review i had to uninstall Magisk and the "System-App" from /System/priv-app, I just deleted that Magisk Manager Folder
- Then Install Magisk Canary from: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/dev-magisk-canary-channel-bleeding-edge-t3839337 - just choose "Canary Magisk Manager (Debug)"
- Download the Magisk Zip within the App and install it in TWRP.
- Start Magisk Manager again and choose Hide Magisk Manager from Settings and choose a name for example: "Manager". It should now create a second app with that name and delete the old one - If the old one don't get deleted then your Magisk is still installed as a System App
- Again in Settings turn on "MagiskHide" and move to the Modules Tab and install "MagiskHide Props Config" and reboot your device afterwards.
- Then download a terminal App for example: "Termux" and start it.
Type:
Code:
su
{Grant Root access}
props
1 - Edit device fingerprint
f - Pick a certified fingerprint
26 - Samsung
14 - Samsung Galaxy A51 (10)
y - y reboot
{Open props again}
3 - Device simulation
Enable Device Simulation reboot your device if it asks you and then again in "3" type "a" to Enable all props.
After rebooting your device the ctsProfile should succeed!
Don't forget to" MagiskHide" your Apps before you start them
Sorry for my bad english

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

I just peek around some threads from time to time just to follow A11 ROM developments but I saw your changelog and I wondered why you would include GCam Go in your ROM? Pictures taken with GCam mods that are based on the "regular" version are of way higher quality on the OP6/T. It makes little to no sense to use GCam Go, it's specially made for low end devices and the OP6/T obviously isn't.
Don't mean to bash on you and your work btw, but just wanted to know why you made this decision.

Thanks for you response, I guess GCam was causing issues...
But I don't see a point in adding both GCam and GCam Go.
I think that would clutter your ROM since then you'll have two apps that basically do the same but one being better than the other.
And also for your information, GCam mods based on the latest version 8.0 do not work on the OP6/T yet and might never will. The latest version that works is 7.4.

I will not go beyond Gcam 7.4. but i am working to bring up OOS CAM on priority. Your point for 8.0 issues on OP6 is again valid.

I think GCam 8.0 BSG Mod working fine with OP6..
Also, All A11 ROM's have Camera Bug so can't blame anyone..

Doesn't work fine at all from what I have tested, I'm part of a testing group of a dev that specifically makes GCam mods for the OP6/T. Everyone in that group experiences major issues with GCam 8.0.
And I do not think that all A11 ROM's have bugs in regards to the camera. All three MJL mods work flawlessly on my side on LOS18. The only thing that has caused issues is Google Photo's from what I have seen.
Also Arnova has stated that it's very hard to port GCam 8.0 to SD845 devices, I don't know the technical story behind all of that but I have yet to see any well functioning GCam mod that's based on 8.0 on the OP6/T. I'm not blaming anyone for that.
But maybe we should discuss this on an other place, not sure if the creator of this thread sees this discussion as off topic.

About Android 11...
There's 3 things you need to know before flashing Android 11 on SM-G610. This terms doesn't apply on Android 10.
1. Display bug
Since files for Display-related things are from Android Pie (9), Rotating your screen for example, will make the phone get soft-rebooted. The workaround is enabling "Disable HW Overlays" on Phh Treble Settings. (Settings > Phh Treble Settings > Misc Features > Disable HW Overlays)
2. Google Play Services Spam
Google Play Services will spam the notifications about the device is not certified to run Google Apps. This happen because SafetyNet isn't passed. The workaround is to securize the system, on Phh Treble Settings. (Settings > Phh Treble Settings > Misc Features > Securize) [Make sure you flashed Magisk OR keeping the built-in SuperSU first before tapping the option.]
3. Choosing a GSI
Since Android 11, you need to choose the 'vndklite' variant because the actual M10 Vendor itself use VNDK Lite. They usually named like this : system-roar-arm32_binder64-ab-vndklite-vanilla.img.xz
Reserved for Android 11 Things posts
Extra Tools
There is 3 Extra Tools on T.R.V. you might find it useful.
1. Resolution Changer
If you are a T.R.R. Gaming user, you might familiar with this tool. This tool can change your device screen resolutions. For example, you can use this tool to crank down your device resolution, from 1080p to 720p. Also don't go crazy with this tool.
Usage :
Code:
:/ # res <numbers>
0 = 360p
1 = 480p
2 = 720p
3 = 1080p
4 = 1440p
5 = 2160p
2. Force "user setup = complete"
This tool will let you to bypass SetupWizard. This tool is useful for some GSI that have broken GApps inside it.
Usage :
Code:
:/ # force_setup_complete
3. LogGet
This tool will let you take logs from the GSI very easily. Extremely useful when reporting bugs.
Usage :
Code:
:/ # logget <time>
"Time" is how much second you want to Android LogCat taking logs from the device

Little bit of tech tips...
This tips is based on my experience flashing and testing some GSI's, I'm sorry if this tips little bit misleading for you.
1. SafetyNet
Remember that SafetyNet that i talked with you on Android 11 Posts? it can be applied to Android 10 GSI too! Oh yea, if the menu does not work, type this on terminal emulator with root :
Code:
:/ # sh /system/bin/phh-securize.sh
2. Terminal Emulator
For accessing those extra tools, you need a terminal emulator, if the ROM does have Local Terminal at developer options, you can use it, but if it doesn't, it's a good idea to keep a terminal emulator apk on your SD Card.
3. Wallpapers
Sometimes applying a high-resolution wallpaper lags the phone. You can change it to lower one or compress it with 3rd party apps.
4. Phh Treble Settings
Since GApps on Android 11 is really annoying, you might need to keep the Phh Treble Settings App installed on your phone to securize the system.
5. Navigation Bar
Some GSI Provider broke the Back, Home, and Recent Apps keys. That is why i keep the Navigation Bar turned on. if the GSI have Back, Home, and Recent Apps keys working then you can disable navigation bar on Phh Treble Settings. (Settings > Misc Features > Force Navigation Bar disabled)
6. Android itself
Android 11 GSI is still too early at this time, so it's recommended to stay on Android 10 GSI.
7. Reduce screen delay
This is the typical problems on SM-G610 when come into AOSP-Based ROMs/GSI, you can reduce it by setting up the "Notifications on lockscreen" to "Don't show any notifications", Setting up fingerprint, and setting up the "lock after screen timeout" to immediately. or... just use SOD Killer to fix screen delay issue
8. Spectrum
If you didn't like my spectrum preset and you want to tune the kernel yourself, you can just delete this file :
Code:
/vendor/etc/init/init.spectrumcore.rc
9. OneUI 2 Ports
Since i add support for TwoUI, you can actually boot any arm32binder64 vndklite OneUI 2 Ports shared on this exynos7870 community. Even if the ports is not designed for J7 Prime! But, of course, since the ports is not designed for J7 Prime, there's may some bugs there and there. Or if you just want to fix some bugs on your current ROM, like brightness slider. And for developer that just stepped in to J7 Prime development, T.R.V. can help yoou boot your own TwoUI Ports without worrying anything! but of course without a working bluetooth since there's a trust issues in the community. For more info about using T.R.V. on your own ROM, please tag me at the discussion group.
10. SM-G610 Single SIM
I just realized there's a version of SM-G610 thats only support Single SIM, and this breaks their IMEI because the vendor is designed for Dual SIM version of SM-G610. To fix this, go to /vendor/build.prop and edit/add this parameters :
From
Code:
ro.multisim.simslotcount=2
To
Code:
ro.multisim.simslotcount=1
11. GSI Provider
Since GSI Provider have their own patches, i will listing some GSI Provider that give us the most stable experience on SM-G610.

Yea this problem available for all AOSP roms on J7 Prime
The vendor is so smooth and stable in crdroid 7.4 GSI.
Only a little bug like rotation screen make soft reboot and random reboot every moment. But if you change kernel to simple v2 no more random reboot.
Hope there is a new update for this vendor.

Sar is it possible to make the charging/notify led works on this vendor? Like the way you added fingerprint scanner since M10 doesn't have it. (i'm not a dev or porter so pardon me sar).
Currently I'm running Havoc 3.12 with this vendor, very stable, no any major bug encountered so far.
Oh and I don't know if this doesn't true on Android 11 or not but on Havoc 3.12 I had to use the command: /vendor/bin/res <value> ...to get the res tool works, I wonder if this only happen on android 10 only?
Thank you for your hardwork sar.
Tested on CrDroid 6.11 (Q) and it works mostly fine. Ares kernel switches big cluster to max 1794 automatically though when phone is woken from sleep and this causes the random reboots. Also, it's good if we can enable the charging/notification led. Longest screen on delay is 20 seconds.
Also recently tested on HavocOS 4.3 (R) and experience is really stable apart from the ares kernel problem with auto-switching to higher frequency on the big cluster thus random reboots happen. Also, securize in PHH Treble Settings doesn't work but the terminal method works just fine. The system UI tuner in PHH Treble Settings is also flaky and doesn't seem to fully work and the accent color for UI reverts every reboot to default (blue). Navigation bar settings when accessed in PHH Settings crash the settings as well. Longest screen-on delay is 5 seconds.
And of course this might be gsi-related but wifi dropouts do occur and might be the kernel might not.

To some extent I suppose? I am treated with a frozen blank white-ish screen when plugging in the device when off but at least it isn't rebooting to recovery. Still not fully fixed though so we might need to wait for future releases for offline charging to work on GSI's..
Does anyone have a solution for the echo in calls for j7 prime 610f?

What GSI rom are you using? Maybe it's a problem on that rom?
