I am considering purchasing a Galaxy Tab wifi version. I have been on this site for more than 2 hours and been trying to follow the development and get more information in efforts to better understand my options. However, there is WAY too much information to sift through and my brain can't process all the comments. So, my apology in advance as this question may have been answered before. With that said, I have two questions:
1) If I get the wifi version, will I need to install just the wifi custom ROM or can I installed GSM or CDMA version?
2) I have read that the wifi only version is slower than the CDMA or GSM version. Is there any proof of this?

As the subject stated, I have AT&T version of the Galaxy S4 Active. The phone is unlocked (code provided by AT&T) and now I have a T-Mobile SIM card.
I want to do Wi-Fi calling, but couldn't find any information in this forum or when Googling it.
Can anyone provide step-by-step information on this? Preferably, I don't want to install a custom ROM - I use stock ROM (rooted) and it has been stable so far.

Check this thread for T-Mobile WiFi calling ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2302313). You've got two things working against you though. First you have the AT&T version of the phone, so ours locked down and you can't fully flash ROMs to the phone. You can use SafeStrap to flash ROMs but because of the bootloader being locked your stock with the stock kernel. Second, nobody has got T-Mobile WiFi calling working on non T-Mobile ROMs. So basically you can't do it with the phone you've got.

Guys I am fairly new to these kind of issues, I switched to android recently from windows through this fantastic phone. However, many applications require newer version of android. I went through related topics of LG G FLEX au L23 Japanese version on XDA forum but did not get step by step information of updating this version of phone from scratch anywhere, neither on web nor on the forum.
Request you to provide step by step help as I am sure it will not only help me but thousands of other users who have purchased same model in my country without knowing any of the background from ebay.
Your help will make a huge difference. Thanks in advance ! Please let me know if additional information is required!

Hello. I've been doing some research for some custom roms for my 6.0.1 Marshmallow HTC Desire 626s, but the problem is that I can't find any. I've unlocked my boot loader and rooted. Does anyone have any recommendations or tips? I was hoping for something like Lineage or Cyanogen, but at this point I don't mind. I was just wondering what options there were.

Most posts I am seeing about unlocking bootloader and custom roms are for XT1921-5. I cannot seem to find this phone anywhere. Is this the USA variant? The closest I have found is the XT1921-3 (Boost Mobile) variant here

Would I able to bootloader unlock and install custom roms on this? I'm looking for a backup phone that has LTE 2,4,5,12,13,17,25,26,41,66 bands and this one is perfect but I need to know if I will be able to unlock bootloader and install custom rom.

I'm just doing "get a free phone from MetroPCS" due diligence so I don't have the phone in hand, but it looks like the XT1921-3 is actually the T-Mobile/MetroPCS (USA) version, which has been problematic for ppl. Good news is that it now has a factory image available (see thread here, although no clear reports on that yet . . . one seems to imply there was a problem with it, but I'm not totally clear).
So I'm not by any means an expert on Motorola firmware, but I'd be surprised if Boost (CDMA, right?) had the same model # as T-Mobile (GSM)--and I'm a little overtired but didn't see any note of the Motorola model # on the Best Buy link you provide.
In any case, not sure about bands and such, but hope that tidbit helps a little, in case you do in fact need something for the T-Mobile variant (-3), or if it's the same as Boost and I'm just a moron.
