Mi note 10 e 10 pro are egual?? - Xiaomi Mi Note Pro

Could you please confirm that the procedures for unlocking the bootloader and for installing the TWRP are practically identical to those already performed for unlocking the bootloader of the xiaomi mi note 10 normal.
I also wanted to know if I can install the CC9 Plus Roms Or if I have to wait for you to do some Rom adapted for this model

Global ROM with locked Bootloader on Chinese Varient k20 pro

Hi Android Enthusiastic's
I was totally impressed by Redmi k20 pro specs and price and I had brought it from China next day it was released in Chinese market, I had to deal with slot of Chinese bloatware and I was finally waiting for official global ROM to released and I unlocked bootloader and flashed global ROM and when I try to relock the bootloader it gets stuck in recovery mode
And works fine with unlocked bootloader
And later I came to know that Xiaomi had actually did this on purpose that no should do like this
I ask all you is there any workaround for this that I can have official global rom and locked Bootloader
Because unlocked bootloader can lead to hacking and loss of sensitive information and potential for virus attack
Since you have the chinese variant if the phone locking it's bootloader will limit the phone to ONLY being able to boot the Chinese ROM or one of these fake global ShopROMs which nobody should use (in my opinion).
I don't think it possible to flash the official global ROM and lock the bootloader. Maybe some day the Pro's will be able to convert a Redmi K20pro to a Mi 9T Pro with baseband and bootlock support but at the time of writing this is not possible.
Until then you have to choose between Chinese ROM with locked bootloader or any other ROM with unlocked one. I use Xiaomi.eu ROM with unlocked Bootloader and deem the data encryption safe enough.
A thief could boot TWRP, format data and have my phone but that is a risk I can take. In that case I might even still be able to lock the phone with my mi account if the thief used MIUI

Question Redmi Note 10 5G Global Europe version switch

Hi all !
I have recently purchased this phone from Orange Romania (Europe) service provider so I think the phone is SIM locked on Orange's only signal. Is it safe to switch from 12.0.4.0.RKSEUOR to 12.5.1.0.RKSEUXM ? The 12.5 OTA did not came for me and I would like to receive the updates as other EU devices and not be stuck with provider's version of updates.
it's safe. download and manual install full 12.5 firmware
Thank you. Is there pc app that i could use to backup the stock rom? In case I need to restore back to RKSEUOR if I need to use the warranty? I have tried but I can't find anywhere that particular fastboot rom to download.
flash this

If I've switched ftom RKSEUOR to RKSEUXM, can I safely lock the bootloader using oem lock command or will it brick and not able to boot or unlock it again?
i think is safe relock bootloader, but i'm not 100% sure. i suggest u search some detailed guides on web. the firmware change in your case is not a problem. maybe you can encounter other problems if u don't will make the correct relock procedure
I believe, as a security feature, each time the bootloader is locked or unlocked the user data is wiped.
I have been running my device on the EU ROM after switching from Vodafone with the boot loader unlocked with no issues. Still get OTA updates and all security and banking apps run no problem.
I thinks customer Rom are safe, only if developer are good.

Question Redmi K60 (China) rom to Poco F5 Pro global rom

greetings everyone, is it possible to change the rom?
Possible, provided you unlock the bootloader.

If you have a Chinese model, do not re-lock the bootloader (brick).

Yep, this is done with Miflash, be careful " flash and lock "box is checked by default (see the tutorial).
With a stock rom you will need to root and use Magisk modules for the phone to be certified (banking apps, Netflix, payment).
The best is to use a Xiaomi Eu rom where everything works without root and with the unlocked bootloader.
Mi unlock/Miflash/Xiaomi Eu rom will erase your data.
its fine with me to use EU rom, thanks
Do note the devices are not completely the same; Poco users who flashed the Xiaomi.eu rom which is based on the K60 rom are unable to make calls unless they flash the global modem.

Only for certain carriers.
So to test before flashing the modem.img.
