We are very excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Quartz, based on Android 10.
On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.
Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.
Notice
As we are growing on our list of supported devices in each release, we require of a stronger build environment so we can speed up the compilation process for releases. Based on the actual Quartz 4 list, we support over 30 devices, which takes between 2 and 3 days for all the builds to be completed without counting possible compilation issues or rebuild needs, based on our current specs.
We kindly ask all of you that are in position to donate anything, to help and support us so we can provide better and faster build releases, as well as increase the download speed of our servers, all looking for your enjoyment.

Thanks, great and smooth rom but why not forceencrypt? After changing fstab in /vendor to "fileencryption = ice, quota" works as expected

Quick settings gestures
how can I disable the gesture to access quick settings?
I can't find that option, just appears and I activated but now I can't find where I can disable It.

Is your /data encrypted? If so you have to edit /vendor/etc/fstab.qcom and change the line that says encryptable=ice, quota to fileencryption=ice, quota.
That file, i believe, has two lines, one for ext4 and the second for f2fs.
Another option would be to format /data.
Also, check that you are on the latest version of the firmware.

Hi,
Great to hear that PA is available for our device.
Had the opportunity to flash it and it's just amazing.
One thing that's not working is vibration on call connection, even though the option exists in the Settings.
Searched but couldn't find a way to edit the statusbar settings.
I know this issues will be addressed in future builds.
Good to know PA has our back.
Regards,

@rtx4d,
how can I completely turn off the navigation bar?

Super smooth! Not a single bug for the way I use my phone.
Sent from my MI MIX 2S using Tapatalk

the rom is good, no bug for now...
but there is a solution to edit quicksettings rows and columns??
some extra-settings would be much appreciated

Yes, maybe
The base is 10.3. It was confirmed by the OP6 Maintainer. Anyone flash this yet?
I've been waiting for a good custom ROM to finally get me off of OOS. So, how would I go about flashing this? I'm on the latest open beta, OB4 I believe

If you could've just read a few messages back you'll know that base is 10.3. oh and, if you don't know how to flash, i suggest research and help yourself.

There is no OB4 yet.....
I suggest you don't take changes and flash 10.3 first since you already will lose data.

10.3 isn't OB ... OB has a different approach, therefore flash 10.3. before try this one
Thanks for the contribution. What are this ROM features?
Clean install?
Exicted.
Any screenshots or a video review? I rooted OP6T long ago but never flashed any custom ROM yet, or I'd say never needed another ROM given the performance and features of OOS... And one year using the device with same OS is too much
Would love to flash it once it is stable
I know this does not go here but it is the first Android 10 rom that I try.
I have a rather annoying bug that prevents me from connecting the phone via USB to the PC and does not let me transfer data, just load it.
I have the latest version in both slots.

Yeah
other Question is OOS Cam? Do video recording work (oos) or GCam to take a pic?
When I want to go back to OOS, I just flash OOS zip or use Msm Tool?
Nice! Paranoid is an excellent ROM, I'd like to have a try
TWRP? Mauronofrio? 3.3.1-16? Is that the recommended TWRP? Recommended GApps?

Yep, that's the recommended TWRP.
For GApps, pico and nano OpenGapps are recommended.

Tested the MJL Google Camera port and camera and camcorder both seem to work fine. Can you recommend an Oxygen Camera APK that works on other ROMs and I can test it? I'm not sure if it'll work on this build, but if not, I should be able to fix it for the next one.
You should be able to flash stock with TWRP but I have not tested it. MSM Download Tool works for sure.

Which kind of gestures do you mean? Are you talking about the screen off gestures such as draw circle to open camera? If so, yes.

Sorry, I meant OOS navigation gestures.
So far great ROM. In 1st setup i was asked by system to enable smart pull-down for tiles and i can't disable it now. Does anyone how to disable it?
Okay, can anybody tldr what's different between OOS and PA? There is literally no information of features of PA.

How exactly are one to get PA to boot?
Whats the trick?
I've tried everything over and over, and it always boots to recovery.
Have tested with OrangeFox TWRP and official 3.4.0.0.
Still won't boot.
Pixel experience boots perfectly.
Edit: Didn't check FBE on 3.4.0.0 and Orange.
Testing older TWRP.
No luck on TWRP 3.3 with FBE either.

After some time playing with this rom while swiping to open notification bar, a pop up comes up saying if I want to enable "swiping right from top will fully expand the notification panel".
Firstly, if no option is chosen, and the notification bar is swiped away and back again multiple times, the popup will too appear multiple times, so you then have to dismiss multiple popups.
Next, now that I have enabled this option, I dont have any idea how to disable it. I tried searching in settings with no luck. So, how to disable this swipe from right corner expands notification panel fully feature?
Edit: do not disturb should disable all vibrations (including keyboard and fingerprint vibrations) - currently, it doesn't disable any vibration
Also, there's no option as far as I know to set the overall vibration strength (like when using navigation gestures...)
Any good camera for this rom please?

We are very excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Ruby, based on Android 11.

Thank you for your feedback.
The proximity sensor bug is a know issue and fortunately I already found a fix so you can expect it fixed for the next build
About Google Search Bar at the bottom I'm not going to put it there. You can use an alternative launcher (like Pixel Launcher) to get it.

Hey I just installed it and boy is it smooth! A couple things that caught my eye right away, is there anyway to go to miui notification center? Also with the camera is there any setting to use the 108mp camera or maybe even have it set as defult?

There's no miui notification center as this is a custom rom. As for the 108MP it requires camera libs modding, by default it uses pixel binning so the photos come out with 27MP.
Is there a LED notification light option for the phone's LED light (like in MIUI)?

Amazing rom, battery life is amazing everything is smooth. But it doesn't have any tweaks or anything which is boring, and I can't get CTS profile to succeed, so I can't pay with nfc
Battery life is amazing and the interface is smooth, but I have two issues so far:
The phone asks me to open location services while it's already opened, in some apps.
And, I can't get the CTS profile to succeed as skv13 said.
