Webserver and Kaiser

I would like to do on my Kaiser what I can do on the PC:
I go inti the Internet Explorer and add a special TCPIP address and then I can see my Web camera - when I do this on the KAISER I don`t see the life pic !
Any explanations or help from the great community ?
thaks
myrin
May I ask the other way round - How co I get access to the camera in my network ????
Maybe your webcamera uses a speciel active-x component, that your Kaiser doesn't recognise... Or flash...
Yes I can choose between active x and Java ...on the PC
Activex or Java is not supported.
On your desktop, you can try to view the properties of the stream (e.g. mms://ip: port or http://ip: port/camimg.jpg) and try to open it directly on your device.
The best solution I found sofar for viewing ipcameras/webcameras on my tytn2 is webcamxp (http://www.webcamxp.com/).
They have a nice pocketpc/smartphone interface.
It works very well if you install the adobe flash plugin (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer_pocketpc/) on your device.
I read about the flash player - could describe me what the use of it will be ?
In addition to activex and java, webcampxp has the possibility to broadcast in flash. Use the flash plugin to display the live stream in PIE.
The flash player plays flash files (as the name indicates).
Obviously webcamxp converts your webcam pics into flash format, which you can view with flash player.
Thanks a lot for your kind help ....I installed now the flash player but when I go into the IE and add the TCPI adress of the camera (http://....) there is still no change - I see nothing ???
Can I see with the flash player the live pics ???
It will most likely not work with your current webserver software/hardware as you said it is only capable of activex and java broadcasting.
webcamxp is just another webserver software solution which runs on your desktop. It supports most ipcameras. In combination with the flash plugin you are able to view your ipcameras on your tytn
So for all other programms it will not be of help ? only in conjunction with webcampyx ??
Myrin
Another alternative is viewcommander mobile (http://www.ivimg.com/products/vcmobile.htm). With this application installed on your device you can connect directly to your ipvideoserver. No use of PIE.
I couldn't however view a live camstream over a gprs/umts connection. Viewing with a wlan connection worked fine.
With this software it works !!! thanks so much for this advice ...
Hi Peter, as your question is now answered I thought it would be ok to hijack the thread. Could I ask what software you are using to host your webcam on your server?
I would like to do the same with my logitech quickcam and windows home server.
One camera is from axis the other from trust - both have there special software.

[APP] Screen Stream Mirroring - Mirror to Chromecast, media players, web browsers....

Hi guys,
I just wanted to let you know that my app is already out for a while now and I still haven't posted about it here.
Maybe some Chromecast owners could find it useful
This is Screen Stream Mirroring, it allows you to fully mirror your Android device to Chromecast, media players, web browsers, Chromecast, online broadcast...
Mirroring feature to Chromecast is out for a while, it was out even before Google announced their Mirroring feature
The app works from Android 4.0, and gives high quality results from Android 4.3 or higher.
Fo now for Chromecast the issue there is compared to other targets is that there is few seconds of delay introduced by Chromecast, I'll do my best to improve this if possible...
Main features are:
Mirror to Chromecast
Mirror to media players with RTSP
Mirror to web browsers with HTTP
Broadcast online to Twitch, Ustream, Youtube, and others ...
Mirror full audio if you have a rooted Android device (or microphone for all)
A lot of settings to change quality and speed
There is a free version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobzapp.screenstream.trial
If you like it, want to support my work and purchase, here is the link to full version:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobzapp.screenstream
Main app thread on XDA is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-screen-mirroring-broadcasting-to-t3102378
App web site is here: http://mobzapp.com/mirroring
I hope I could have any feedbacks from XDA users.
Thanks !
Amazing app. Is it possible to get sound working on lollipop without root?
Doens;t work for me. None of the menu options do anything. The screen just stays on media players, which doesn't work either
Updated my Samsung s4 to lollipop the other day. Now the app doesn't work. Asks for root even if starting service from computer seems to work. Any ideas?

good plan - will test it tonight when i get home from work/night out (!)
ah - just noticed its not compatible with 5.1.1 (I am on CM21.1)
Why do you say it's not compatible ?
based on the reviews - also i have just installed it and it glitches quite badly, i had to force close it to exit. I am afraid I had to uninstall it.

What do you mean by "ADB recording working with sound" ?
Also please disable the option "keep internal audio" if you enabled it, this is maybe what is causing you issue.
@Sloosh
"ADB recording working with sound" - When i Connect G901F to PC or type in Terminal emulator type "adb shell screenrecord /sdcard/MyScreenRecordingGreetingsForSloosh.mp4". Then i get ADB Recording.
This file have dynamic bitrate (if u dont set --bit-rate xx) and sound from system.
In app Screen Stream Mirroring i cant set dynamic bitrate (0 working acts as a dynamic bitrate? i dont know/test it.) But the worst is i cant set audio from system. From mic working without problem. Only not working internal/mixed.
Yes, app working without problems if i dont set in Sound settings: Internal or Mixes settings.
Tell me what it is due. The problem is that I can not even born debbuging apps because it is closed source and app not leave anything worthwhile in logcat. Since there hangs just shows that there is a problem with sound. Aplication have root permission. I wonder why it is not working because SoC is this same as Nexus 6.

Yes but did you try internal audio or mixed audio source with "keep internal audio" option disabled ??
I don't understand how your screenrecord command would record system audio, because this tool from Google do not record audio from what I know...
@Sloosh
With option "keep internal audio" and without "keep internal audio" recording dont working.
Now i checked screenrecording command. You're right recording without sound BUT i now connect my old phone - I9300 with nameless rom and screenrecording recording with sound... strange magic. I apologize for misleading.
Look at YT why i mean -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4M_kwCA-ogo

weird... please be sure you have the last version (last one is for now 2.1.5c).
Did you try restarting your device ? (if you try, again please try with "keep internal audio" disabled...)

Hi!
If your Android is 4.4.2 or higher Chromecast app is able to mirror to Chromecast.
Regards

Hi, so far I love this app! But the camera overlay is so dark on my Note 5 it's unusable, even in broad daylight. I'm forced to use a "floating mirror" app instead until this is fixed.
#2 on my wishlist is a basic text/image overlay. Currently I'm using a custom widget to do this, along with the Overlays app which makes widgets into overlays. It all works fine (mostly), but together with the stupid mirror cam, that's a four-piece workaround to accomplish what I feel should be core functionality in Screen Stream Mirroring.
Thanks for your hard work and consideration. Like I said I love this app. It's worth the price and a lot more!

[Q] wifi direct - Can anyone explain the use?

I can use the wifi direct option in advanced settings of the wifi menu to pair to any other android. BUT, how do I use it natively to file share media to and from? I can do it via 3rd party apps but its a hit or miss.
For example I transfered an mp4 to an Xperia phone from my N6 and an mp3 vice versa using super beam app. But couldn't get it to work on any media from my N6 to galaxy s3?! I want to avoid downloading multiple wifi direct apps just to have one work per one model android and another for a different model. Not to mention the other android needs the same app(s) too.
If the native option can pair through a wifi direct feed to any android why then isn't there a native option in the choices when the send /share icon is pressed on media files??? Not even in photos is the option present. I can hit the share icon - after pairing to another android - and still no wifi direct option?
Did you ever find your answer?

How to mirror my android phone screen to my tablet or TV box?

Hi there
like the title of this thread,
i want an application wich allow me to Mirror my android phone screen to another android tablet or tv box
i search on the Play store but i don't find what i need.
so can anyone help me !!!
regards
Samsung devices can do this via SideSync. I went out of my way to get a phone and tablet so I could use the mirror/remote call/file transfer functionality. Recently LG copied this, so if you have an LG phone and tablet you may also be in luck.
You should probably check the list of devices that support the Chromecast, or consider MHL for output of your phone to a television via an adapter cable.
Sent from my Galaxy S5
After long search i think that it's not possible to mirror All the screen of the phone to another android device beacause
it's should be a protocol like ,DLNA or Miracast ... wich is possible with a dongle wifi display.
but i found two applications wich allow us to share content between devices:
1_ the first aplication is Screenshare:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.springdesign.screenshare.browser.server
2_The seconde application is EZcast screeen
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.actionsmicro.ezcastrx
you can watch the video to know how it works
If both devices are rooted you can get full Chromecast functionality (well, mostly. a few things like Netflix don't and likely will never work) using the Cast receiver port that's on this board along with the Xposed module to disable the signature date check on the device that's sending the Cast, works for me.
Thank you but i don't understand very well
can you please explain what shoul i do step by step?
Regards
I can recommend to use my app Screen Stream Mirroring  , here is the free version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobzapp.screenstream.trial
I recommend it not only because I am the developer, but because the app was initially made for this.
You can use VLC for Android as receiver or any other RTSP player.
I will also release very soon a player for Android with good additional features.
Just ask if you have any question.
How it works?? there is no instructions!
please explain step by step what i should do?
Download allcast receiver to your tablet and allcast to your phone.
vnc method (root)
Try droid vnc server from the play store(this requires root access) on the device you want to mirror and get a vnc viewer on the device that you want to connect to the vnc server and this will mirror your screen
hi i owned galaxy note 3 phone and recently just bought galaxy tablet note 10.1.

search yueye and download two apps called limitless remote and limitless server. The server app will host a server so every devices on the same Lan can pair up with, but you need to root your server device or the display will be blank, the client device which is the controlling side do not require rooting. You can also download a limitless.zip from the original website to install it in any window os, you can even remote control your pc when you host a server there

If you have a quite recent Android version it should use hardware encoding so you should be able to stream any game... up to 60fps since Android 4.4.
You can check in app preferences if hardware encoding is enabled.

I was going to try your app, but the reviews on Playstore are dismal. Possibly the most negative reviews I've ever seen for an app. So I won't bother, because as in most apps, there are dozens more.
You really should consider trashing the app, fixing it (apparently you have an insane number of ads in the free version) and re-releasing it under a different title. Word of mouth, or in this case, thumbs is everything in the dev world.
