I'm stuck at fastboot too, I'm trying to flash twrp it says ok in fastboot console but when I try to reboot to twrp it get me back to fastboot, what can I do?

You need to flash an original Xiaomi stock image. I had the same problem. As soon as you flash the entire stock package, you can then flash TWRP.

Try to download fastboot ROM and use miflash to flash entire system. Then your phone will be ok !

so just put my mi3 in fastboot mode and try adb on it? i'll try
So long as you can enter fastboot mode, trying using MiFlash to flash official global MIUI rom first. I encountered this situation before. Below are roughly what I did.
1. Enter into Fastboot and flash official global MIUI rom using MiFlash
2. Flash TWRP recovery using ADB sideload
3. Flash my custom rom using TWRP
It's all good for me but I lost all my user data in the process because I deleted all user data before starting the process.

You can find cepheus_global_images_V10.2.3.0.PFAMIXM_20190309.0000.00_9.0_global_ab3e2a70a8.tgz here
http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
problem resolved following step manual install via command prompt (ROM global developer)
http://in.c.mi.com/thread-334-1-1.html
now get updated, after download completed cannot install and re download again....
Okay, literally. What are you doing? How can you mess up this badly?
I would help you, but I can't figure out what you are saying.
You cannot "lose" your ROM after installing TWRP, it is not possible. You must have installed it as the system image or something.
"fastboot flash recovery twrp.img", how can you mess that up?
Anyway... I can't tell whether your problem has been resolved or not, but, be careful in the future.
Download and flash this twrp then flash factory rom
https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-xiaomi-mi-9-t3905825
After flash factory rom, into fastboot, flash recovery.img in factory rom,you can unzip rom and find it
Or you can flash with fastboot update
Just Into
http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
And click fastboot update
Hi all, thanks for ur reply.. The problem solved after tried manual install via fastboot command prompt, got update via ota and succeed.
Now Im using developer rom, so far so good but I feed hot after play pubg and the battery bit wasteful than china rom.

"Flash crclist error" in MI 9 cepheus
Hello, I deleted everything in my MI 9 cepheus, already tried with mi flash, with mi flash pro, with mi suite with xiaomi tools and I can not reset anything.
This happened after installing twrp with adb and within twrp do wipe cache / dalvik, the files were all coded and from there it was in fastboot mode and I can not do anything else.
In mi flash gives the error "Flash crclist error", and died ... peace to your soul :crying:

You have to lock bootloader again "fastboot oem lock" and that Will give you the error system hás been destroyed. Then put him um fastboot mode and flash with miflash tool. Last time that happend me i was in a fastboot loop it took me 5 days to discover.

I had same thing happen to me. You need to force flash firmware. Another XDA member suggested to use miuiflashpro. And flash your phone's firmware back. Part of your phone's recovery has been erased I think. Choose keep data or flash all in settings an your cell will work again
Hello, thanks for the tips, Miflashpro nor detects the equipment... I've exhausted the ideas and options. I think I got a paperweight to put in the Office ?

Can you reflash twrp?
Then ADB sideload ROM?
Goto advanced twrp file manager and move ROM to internal storage?
Then flash ROM?

After all this was easier to solve than apparently it seemed. Just installed a new version of TWRP (3.3.1-34), the previous one although it indicated that it was nominated for the MI9, was not the best choice. After installing a new one, I uploaded the ROM(MIUI 10.5 by xiaomi.eu 9.6.20) to the root of the phone and installed it. It's all working again.

Please help me unbrick this device

I am not able to boot into twrp recovery so I'd appreciate all the help.
I have unlocked bootloader.
Downloaded the twrp from here recovery
flashed twrp
flashed misc
then rebooted into recovery
formatted data
rebooted recovery
then I formatted internal storage and system partition also (I think this where I screwed up)
then again I rebooted the recovery and instead the device goes to fastboot. No matter what I try, it just wont go into recovery.
I flashed twrp again and flashed mics countless times but the device keeps going into fastboot and not into the recovery.
Can anyone help please? Thanks.

Just download fastboot rom from this link

Flash with MI FLASH TOOL in fastboot mode
Don't worry. I had this issue twice . You need to flash fastboot rom without locking the bootloader again(choose it from the bottom of miflash tool). then go to fastboot mode and reinstall twrp again and install any rom you need or even downgrade to earlier version.
if you flash miui_PYXISGlobal_V11.3.4.0.PFCMIXM_78bb922dcd_9.0.zip on fastboot, you'll start from scratch, it'll boot but with stock recovery, so that could be your plan B
