We know that USB ports only give 500ma and the wall charger provides 1000ma. Couldn't we create or even just use an existing dual USB cable like some portable usb hard drives to provide the extra power and get a fast charge from a computer?

my MHL adapter i recently bought wont charge my phone, i downloaded Battery Info from the google market, and the voltage seems to be just like the normal wall charger
my MHL adapter is directly plugged in to the Television, then an micro usb with an long 5meter cable is connected to the wall charger
what could be causing this ?

I change my car, but why OTG does not work?
I'm trying to set up an Octoprint server on my old Note5 and as a result I need to be able to charge while using an OTG cable. I figured out that whenever I plug in a cable into the micro usb port, it disables wireless charging. Is there any way to override this?
