Front camera not working - Huawei P30 Pro Questions & Answers

Good afternoon,
I have a Huawei P30 Pro VOG-L09, and after I did last month's software update, front camera stopped working. Whenever I launch the camera it crashed and keeps closing the camera app and opening back again. At some time the front camera will get a still photo and crashes again. Back camera is working normal.
I donwloaded another camera app but still does not work. Resetted cache of cameras, and even waited for the new update which I did yesterday. But still it dowsn't work
What can I do?
Thanks,
Darryl

[Q] FF Camera Not Working on Google Camera or Third Party Apps

I just got my Nexus 6 earlier today. For the first few hours, the front facing camera was working fine. However, it just disappeared as an option. I am not able to switch from the rear camera to the FF camera in the Google Camera app nor any third party apps (third party cameras, Snapchat, WhatsApp). Also, the Camera settings don't even show the FF camera as option for changing resolution, etc.
I've tried restarting my phone, clearing the cache, and even a factory reset, and so far nothing has worked. I'd rather not send my phone back, but will as a last resort. Does anyone know if this is a hardware or software issue? Should I contact Google or just stick it out until we get another update?
just tried.
Been using my phone? for several weeks. However I just don't use my ff camara that much at all. Just went and tried it and it was difficult too find. There is an icon in the camara to the far right, turned it on, working. I will continue to monitor everyday for a few weeks and try to report back.

Blurry Camera issue

I recently bought a a fairly used Z1 from a local dealer.
After a few days of use, I started noticing that the rear camera randomly gets blurry for distant shorts. Nevertheless, if you take close up shots i'ts fine. The front Camera is also fine.
At first I wondered if the issue was with the Background defocus app, I installed. I have removed it cleared the device and camera cache but the camera is still as it is.
Also some days the camera is fine with no issues as I've taken great photos with it.
I need help to sort out the issue if it's a hardware or software issue and if I can fix it or I should return it since I have a 3 months of guarantee.
See photos:
it appears I can't post an image link to dropbox.
Thank you for your help in advance.
Check if my tutorial helps you
did you try to clean install latest stock rom?
clean install means to wipe everything and flash the stock rom
Try Google Camera. If it keeps getting blurry, it can be a physical problem.

Galaxy S8. Camera error.

Hello. I come with a little weird problem. I hope someone can advise me in fixing this. 2 weeks ago I caught a second s8. Android 7.0.
Well, nice and cheap. He has a problem with the cameras. That at first I thought. You buy a camera is mounted and ready. Well, nothing further
When starting the camera, in the best of cases it takes about 20 seconds to start the cameras and everything works fine.
Front or Rear. But 80%, it gives me camera error or unknown error.
What I did:
Delete data from the application .. data and data
Factory reset
Change rear camera with a new one
Update from android 7.0 to 8.0.
Testing with other camera applications ...
Rare is that iris recognition, quite well not 100% but almost always starts.
The only thing I have left to try is to change the front camera. But I doubt it .. any suggestions ????
Thanks in advance..

Huawei camera app corrupting photos

Hi all,
Been very happy with my p20 pro in the 6 months I've had it. The last few days I have noticed that all of the photos I have taken in the default camera app are corrupted. Any photo I take corrupts and won't open. When I try to open them in gallery it just says loading forever and if I try to send them in WhatsApp you get the gray box with an icon inside.
If I take a photo with a different camera app or by WhatsApps camera then the photos are fine.
I installed the 9.0 update recently but think it worked fine for a few days before this issue came up.
Anyone else experienced this?
Yep this thing appeared to me today, and its starting to get annoying as ****, not only that, the HDR mode sometimes save a picture with green stripes, for some reason also the camera crash every then, ill be doing a factory reset today, something may be wrong after updating to pie, since i didnt have any of those problems before.
I've another problem in which the pictures taken in portrait has green lines in the bokeh area after which the camera app crashes... After a restart it didn't appear yet.

Question Camera Issue

Hello,
since my camera app is not working, same with apps that use the camera.
The problem is when i'm on the main camera i get a black screen (an absolute black, like if there is no signal) and the shooting button is not working. The camera works fine for selfies instead but when i switch to the rear cam the app freezes. I tryed everything from clearing data/cache, unistall and reupdate the app, nothing works even after the january update.
So whats the solution? Google team can make it to fix or do you think Is an hardware problem and i have to ask for a new unit?
It definitely looks like a hardware failure. The only thing you can try is to factory reset the phone if it still doesn't help - place a warranty claim.
