is it possible any mod for samsung dex with galaxy tab s 10.5?
the T800 already supports MHL, so i do believe that this could be done by a mod only

Take too much time and your cpu might be pined,try this if you wanna try stuff on bigger screen, support usb and TCP/IP.

I'm trying to find a way to use my Iphone 4 data plan (3G) on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Wi-Fi Only) through the USB cable/adapter but no luck so far.
I'm currently using the ROM Task Rom 9.0 on the tablet so Ad-Hoc is enable and I've been able to tether to the Iphone through Wi-Fi, however it drains my phone's battery pretty quickly.
I do have the Samsung USB adapter but when the Iphone is connected to the GT it only allows me to copy photos. It doesn't recognize the USB tethering.
Does anyone have any tip or advise???
I guess the same procedure could be applied to any cellphone regardless of the OS.

Note that this is the ORIGINAL 7" Tab section - you might have better luck in the 10.1 Tab section.

Okay, I've searched and searched and I can't figure this out. I have an original Xbox controller (with USB OTG cable) that works on four of my Android devices, but not on my Galaxy Tab S2. And when I mean "it works", I mean that I simply plug it in and I can use the controller to move around the screen. I don't have to install anything. Is there something I'm missing to get it to work? I couldn't find anything in the Settings. I tried a USB Device Info app, which showed that it can see the controller. I also experimented with the USB/BT Joystick Center 2015 app and it also saw the controller. So I don't think there is anything wrong with my controller or OTG cable. Before I spend anymore days working on this, I need a sanity check that I'm not missing something obvious.
It works on:
(2) Nexus 7 (2012) tablets with Android 4.4.4
(2) Galaxy S5 phones with Android 5.0
Does not work on Galaxy Tab S2 with Android 5.1.1
None are rooted.

I was wondering if it's possible to enable DeX on the screen of the Note 9 locally like the galaxy tab s4 does when it is connected to the keyboard cover.
I know you can use the Tab S8 as a wireless screen for windows pc. However, is it possible to use it as a wireless screen for the S22 Dex capabilities? I would think this would be a great conbination.

Why would you want to run DEX from s22 on your s8? When you can use DEX mode straight on s8?
Yes, you can! I just confirmed this by turning on Second Screen on the Tab S8 Ultra and using the Smart View toggle on my Galaxy Fold 3. Found it and connected right away, no problem. Should be the exact same on the S22, and all other recent Samsung (and probably any Android) devices.
has anyone here ever rooted a samsung tab s8 or tab s7, how's the state of DeX, is it still working fine?
because actually i need rooted device and samsung dex to work.

In galaxy tab s6 pro which i have rooted, dex is working fine. I don't think there will be any problems in s8 also..

you can root following the guide and have Dex without any issue
