I don't like so much the quality... I guess it is still to optimize from VIVO. I got 2 firmware updates. I guess the quality of my Mate 30 Pro 5G is far better.

Hey guys. I finally got gcam working. But in settings I can only see front camera 5 megapixel. How do u get the 20? As well will back camera take 20 megapixel or just 12 Max? Thanks

Use the search function. Gcam mods have max 5 megapixel front and max 12 megapixel rear. For further details as to why, search a bit please.
And by the way, the 5 megapixel front pictures from gcam are several times better than the 20 mp front camera pictures in indoor lighting conditions.

My gf have a mi A1 and I love the pictures taken with Gcam, the colors especially are very good!
I wanted to compare Xiaomi A1 Gcam and A2 Gcam, however I can't find anything on the internet.
Does anyone here have both and have made a comparison with a few daylight shots?

Haven't seen any comparison, so I took the A1 and i am very happy with it.
Here are a 3 gcam pictures + 1 panorama (1st image: default app for Panorama, it's better than Gcam) retouched with lightroom mobile:

You must change "stream config" or "session of photo mode" (depending on Gcam version) to either EISv2 or EISv3. Then no lens will freeze.

No problem glad to help. The 5x tele is the camera that really benefits from Gcam. On the others I use stock so far.

Yeah. I too do the same
The pixel 6 pro and the x60 pro plus are using the same gn1 sensor with the x60 pro plus having a much better f1.57 vs 1.85 on the pro so shudnt a newer gcam from the pixel do wonders for the x60 pro plus.
The only other difference is on the isp side of things with Google rocking the tensor and x60 pro plus using the sd888

Can you please tell me where can I find this setting? I can't find it anywhere... I have CN version, and I try to find a better camera app, because actually I am not really satisfied with the level of details of my pictures and I thought that maybe a different app would take better pictures...

1. At a zoom of 120 or even less, there is a lot of shaking in the image! This was not seen in mi 10 Ultra, is it normal? Does everyone feel that way?
2. When the camera is active, there is no movement of the lens (anti-shake) when you look at the lens and shake the phone! Do you understand what I mean?
3. After working on the camera for a while, the software slows down and I have to restart the phone to continue working with the camera.

Exactly the same for me. Only your lens shaker is visible? When the camera is active, do you look at the camera and notice the lens shake?
Shot with 40x and supermoon. This was the 2. Try and without tripod. The first attempt was useless.
Shooted tonight. 52x without tripod. Super moon.
Without super moon, and during the daytime, until x30 it's quite usable.

For me it's the best. Go for it!
I can say that you buy it calmly, although if you want better photos you will need to replace the Stock Camera with the GCam. In Gaming it behaves quite well, I can even Interpolate Videos and at the same time make it Rescale using MPV.
It's a good phone, but if you have the money go straight for the Pro version, you won't be disappointed.
I buy it for design. I Love the rectangular design! Awesome !

About the camera... I totally agree if we were talking about photos captured with the Stock Application. With GCam the quality of the photographs increases dramatically.
However, the OnePlus sensors are quality. In that sense, it is worth paying more money for a better camera.

It is not necessary to do any of those things that make you lose the guarantee. I use LMC version 8.2
I install this one. Funny, when i install this, Motorola camera is better...
