Unable to install apps from outside Google PLay Store or Galaxy Store - Samsung Galaxy M31 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I am unable to install applications from outside Google Playstore or Galaxy Store.
I get message application not installed.
I tried also with adb command and i get a strange message like INSTALL FAILED BLOCKED CROSS DOWN.
does anyone has a solution or resolution or reason?
thanks.

I have no issues installing an apk from outside the stores. Keep in mind you have to enable the feature in your security settings.

Need help setting up 2nd profile

I could use some help setting up a secondary user profile for my tablet.
I recently bought the $50 Fire tablet. I immediately used RootJunky's batch files to install the Play Store, remove lock screen ads, disable OTA updates, root, and replace the stock launcher. I then logged into my Amazon account to set up the main user profile. I removed a bunch of Amazon bloat and the tablet is working perfectly as a proper Android tablet.
I ran into trouble, however, when I tried to set up a second user profile for my wife. She logged in using her Amazon credentials and went through the standard set up processes. After finishing all that, the lock screen showed up, she swiped up, and nothing. No launcher or anything. Just the home screen wallpaper.
While logged into her profile, I tried re-running RootJunky's Play Store install batch file. I got errors, though, telling me all of those files were already installed on the device.
Navigating through the settings, I managed to get into the Amazon app store and install OneDrive. From there I was able to install some APKs. I managed to install Nova Launcher so she has a working launcher. I also installed the Play Store. The Play Store, however, wouldn't open. It just flashed a white screen and then shut down. After installing the Google Login Service it now prompts to enter Google credentials to log in. After doing so, however, it says it couldn't connect to Google's servers. I am unable to install either the Google Play Services APK or the Google Services Framework APK. After not being able to install them from OneDrive, I downloaded them to internal storage and they wouldn't install from there, either.
I have confirmed that she has root access. I have Root Browser installed to her profile and can access the entire device storage.
Can anyone help me out? Something tells me there's a simple solution here, since the device is rooted and all of the programs/services necessary for logging into a Google account are already installed on the device. Would locating the necessary files and copying them to system work?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think you should re-enable temporarily the stock launcher, that might be your problem. Then, you can set up another launcher and re-hide the stock one.

Thanks for the response.
The launcher isn't the problem. I managed to get Nova Launcher installed on the secondary profile, so I do currently have a working launcher.
The problem is that I can't get logged into a Google account, therefore I can't get into the Google Play Store. That's the problem I'm trying to solve. And as I mentioned originally, the Play Store and other Google apps are working just fine on the primary user profile.
If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them. Thanks.

HELP!!!GOOGLE PLAY STORE and SERVICES not working on Lenovo K3 Note with Vibe UI 3.0

Hello Friends,
I have Lenovo K3 Note with Vibe UI 3.0. I have Playstore and Services both installed but the services used to again and again get force stopped. So I've disabled it right now. The problem is whenever I run Playstore, it shows up a white screen for less than a second and then exits without any error message. I have Playstore and Services both installed from beginning but they never work. Also any other app that needs play services also does not work, giving error message that your phone does not support play services. Also on opening google settings icon from home screen the force stopped error occurs. My Playstore version is 6.7.12E-[0] all 2884155 and Google Play Services are version 9.0.82. If there is any way that I can use Google Play Store and Services properly, I would like to know about it.
Any help at all would be appreciated very very much. PLEASE HELP ME OUT WITH THIS PROBLEM. THANKS.

ZTE Axon M 128GB Chinese Edition Oreo Update removes Google functionality

Yesterday I updated to Oreo as the ZTE Axon M update service showed a new update available. On update Google Play would no longer launch and Play Services was not functioning. The Google Application services were pre-installed on the phone when purchased and shipped from AliExpress.
I figured I would reset the phone and on reset all Google functionality was removed.
I figured I would simply install the GAPPS services again and followed this thread:
https://android.gadgethacks.com/how...-store-without-gapps-google-services-0176241/
However once everything installs and I launch the Play Store I get a white blank screen.
I would have expected to be prompted for the Google Account login screen and if I check Accounts from settings I can see that there is a Google Account listed but not configured and if I click it I am told to add the account from the relevant app. There is no other shortcut installed though other than Google Play Store which hangs as described previously.
I have tried various other ways to get this sorted out but the end result is the same, inability to add a google account and no way to launch the play store.
I considered YalpStore but its really not fit for purpose because anything that requires the Google Play Services framework will not run.
My phone is not rooted but it appears it does not need to be for GAPPS install functionality. I can see many threads that say this works without the need for rooting (and in any event there are no guides for rooting an Axon M).
My question is simply how do I the Google Play Store and Google Play Services to work on the ZTE Axon M with the Oreo update ? It is driving me nuts and I would never have proceeded with the update if I had realised it would simply be removed.

I tried, same issue crashing
I tried multiple methods too, but to no avail.
I do suspect a possibility. The previous time when i managed to get my gapps working when i first got the Chinese set, i had to disable the "Mi-Assistant" App as that was the one preventing my Google Play Services from Auto-Running even though it was set to allow. This time, I can not even see Google Play Services in the Auto-Run Manager and while i tried to force stop and disable the "Mi-Assistant" App, it does not allow me to disable.
I hope this info can help provide some leads to an expert who would be able to help us get back our GApps running again.
Thanks.
I do agree... meanwhile take a look here: https://code.tutsplus.com/articles/10-alternative-android-app-stores--cms-20999
good morning I found the application with the google play store inside the play store zte. After several attempts I managed to install a heavy game (1.3 GB) as ADERA disabling all the Chinese apps, keeping the display always active, I only downloaded via wi-fi. So I managed to download it without problems (I do not know which of these changes worked). the application has a triangular design with central red, the word Google followed by two Chinese characters
Hi, are you on the Android Oreo Update?

yes oreo 8.1 axon m 6 / 128gb. If there is the possibility I can post images of the app. One thing the app inside contains the play store but the apps that you download do not appear on the home of the device but within the app itself
Sounds like an emulator to me.. Would be great if you could provide the images of the app. Any small information helps.
Btw, to all, i did manage to download a GApps installer which seemed promising, cause at least it went into the login page for Google Account. But then the error of requesting to update "Google Play Services" popped up again and again and everything went down the drain again. Will try further and hopefully will have good news.
I'm new on the forum you have to explain to me how to post the images. thank you
Dears... did you see that in the ZTE Store?
Search for Google Play...

There is an application in the ZTE Market that installs a pseudo Google Play but it is sandboxed somehow and you have to launch this app to get access to your installs - feels very insecure to me - I just want a clean Google Play on the device
unfortunately for now it is the only solution I found. Otherwise you must use third-party app stores such as amazon, aptoide, etc.

I posted a link with a few of alternative stores (the best is to get the apk stand-alone ihmo) but if it is to follow that sandbox ways, as suggest, create a new "junky" account just to have it registered.
Any Update??!!

Google Play Services won't run unless you update Google Play Services

This notification keeps on popping, I already searched for solution in the net but it is till persisting. I tried clearing GPS cache and data, FC GPS, restart, manually updated the app and downloading from apkmirror the latest. Also tried updating from PS but it says it is up to date and my only option in PS Is to deactivate GPS.
All Google apps are working like playstore, Google search and etc.
I'm on stock, non rooted, exynos, SM-950F/DS, on latest security patch. I'm using swift installer fully updated.
Why did not you update google play services directly from play store? I have had bad experiences with substratum and other theming tools, they create some problems when updating firmwares and some other apps and components, it is mandatory to uninstall ALL the theming and overlay elements when updating system components

Win is right. You need to go through the official play store. Google beefed up its security to keep malicious apps and pirated apps off any phones. So its caused problems when your trying to update system apps from a 3rd party source. The best thing is to find a full most recent gapps package that includes play store and play store services and id use adb. I dont know if it would work but thats my suggestion.

I did try to update it in PS but upon searching there is no update in PS. My Google Play Services is up to date but a notification keeps on saying I need to update it. Upon searching, there is really an update not showing on my PS.

As I've said in my previous reply.
I did try to update it in PS but upon searching there is no update in PS. My Google Play Services is up to date but a notification keeps on saying I need to update it.
I can't seem to make ADB work in my laptop so that's not an option for me.

I had that problem once on a LG G3.
I found out that the play store and play services was not compatible with my device. Cause some apps, even play store are tweaked differently for some phones. I had to find one that was report as working just fine with my phone and had to double check that the play services was the right one for the version of play store that was in the package.

Google services install in chinese Samsung

Hi
I hope I am in the right place as I have tried various other forums.
I realize that this could be very technical, but willing to give it a try, as I am nowhere near any place that could help me.
I need to install ALL google services on a chinese tablet (samsung GT-N5100) AKA Galaxy note 8. I have tried a lot of APK's but have been unsuccessful.
I know it runs Android 4.1.2, ARM architecture, and 190 dpi screen.
I seem to have installed google services framework 4.1.3 - 509230, but not sure if it is doing anything as there is no services or playstore.
I have been able to download and install Google chrome and it works 100%
I also tried adding my device on my google account, but because there is no google services, I do not have a "google"account option in "add account"
Anyone that could please assist?
