[Follow the exact steps so that you will not face any strange issues like some faced on MIUI v4]
1)Flash latest Orange Fox Recovery
2)Wipe dalvik cache, cache, system, data, vendor
3)Delete Android Folder on both internal storage and external SD card
4)Format Data (Optional, But if you dont format data there is chances of crashes like playstore etc)
(Click on menu button which is on bottom right side on recovery main screen, click on Manage Partitions, click on data, click on format, type "yes" , Drag the Slider)
5)Reboot to recovery
6)Flash firmware
7)Wipe caches
8)Reboot to recovery
9)Flash Rom
10)Flash latest Magisk (Mandatory if you need, Safety net, Kernel Profiles, use of Banking apps etc)
11)Wipe caches
12)Reboot to system
First boot will take 7-8 minutes
After booting complete follow these instructions:
13)Complete initial setup (Google setup screen)
14)Don't do anything just let the playstore to automatically update wait for 2 mins (you can see playstore updating on notification panel)
15)After Playstore updated turn off the screen and let the mobile to settle for atleast 5 minutes
16)After completion of 5 minutes, Reboot the mobile and use it.
(These steps are common for many devices like mido, tulip etc... to avoid crashes on ported roms)

this rom is pretty stable and can be used as a daily driver
i found some minor bugs...
1.Reading mode is not working
2.Booting time is very long while compared with stock and i need sit back and relax(not only 1st,on every boot)
3.Control center is lagging sometimes,but it works good
You not did what we told in instructions, there is no issues what you reported

Wipe all your partition , except micro sd
Use orange fox latest and install rom then magisk
Reading mode is working and booting times is as quick as stock.. not a single lag is there In rom,
If you are facing it , its your mistake not mine.. many others are using it and nobody face the issues you reported.. so check yourself , don't report flase

I am not facing any issues which you mentioned,
First boot takes 8 mins, its common when you clean flash, after that 2nd boot and so on... Will be faster than stock rom.
Reading mode working perfectly
Control center is so smooth and no lags at all

2. Is loudspeaker works ? without Echo.
3. Does Mic have enough gain? ( v4 had this problem, when using loudspeaker mic gain was really low every time, person at other end couldn't hear my voice properly.)

Firmware means it have modem files and all, Xiaomi update it time to time.
It have a seperate thread here in Xiaomi rom and kernel , kindly search and install

We made it stable like stock Miui, you can know about it yourself , there is a telegram group you all can join there for more help.. if mic gain create issues it can be increased but I don't think you need it.. if needed we can increase it..

You unable to login in Vietnam, then get any rom you have there on pie and replace your Xiaomi account app from that roms app.. maybe mi create different app for Vietnam.. :crying:

About OTA Update:
For now OTA Updater is not compatible to work with Android 4.2.X versions.
For this reason, after update file was downloaded and installation begin , CWM will give you error in installation process.
To update successfully, do the following steps:
*Go to Instal zip from sdcard/chose zip from sdcard/0/OTA-Updater/download and choose to install downloaded update.
*CWM will give you error that the downloaded file signature is failed.
*Ignore that and choose Install untrusted zip
*Downloaded file will be instaled and the ROM version will be updated successfully.

So far it's an amazing ROM.
Clean, Smooth, Easy and pretty fast.
after the first reboot there was a message in my bottom left corner that kept saying '' Save mode '' dont know why or how but it was gone after 5 reboots.....
this morning after a night of charging I unlocked the screen and every 5 seconds I got a pop-up message '' system UI was stopped ''
fixed it by rebooting into recovery, wipe cache partition, fixed permissions, wiped dalvik cache ( dont know if that all was necessary) but it worked, after a reboot android was optimalizing my app. all done works like a charm now.
For the rest I cant find anything bad about this rom.
except for the battery icon, but thats just a matter of taste. I prefer a stock battery or a circle mod

I have now tried 5 different Sammy based JB 4.2.2 ROMs and the only one that comes close in every way is Omega ROM v45, but it does have a couple of niggles that made me try this one. Oh boy, this is right in every way, there is nothing I could find to criticise. Well done, have sent a little donation your way.
There is one tiny thing that I hope you could offer a simple solution for (flashable zip would be nice) and that is the battery icon. I am an older guy (very young at hart) and my eyesight is not what it used to be, so the percentage is had to discern. The one thing I really liked in the Omega ROM is the icon style and pixel size of his icon. Would it be possible to change your current one?

Rom Installation:
1. Download Phronesis rom and save it to your phone memory or sd card
2. Get a good recovery. TWRP recovery recommended
3. Boot into recovery ,factory reset (full wipe, clean install is recommended). Make choices in Aroma.
4. Reboot after successful install and wait for best rom in town to build. Allow about 10 minutes for first boot.
5. Your phone will reboot once after the first boot to complete customisations..
6. Sit back and enjoy
For full wipes Rom Releases:
1. Boot into recovery (say TWRP)
2. Select wipe in recovery menu
3. Select Advanced Wipe
4. From the resulting window, select to wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache (of course after backing up your rom / data)
5. Swipe to wipe the selected partitions.
That's recovery wipe completed.
In Aroma menu when you get to option to wipe, select:
1. Select "Full Wipe" radio button
2. Select "Full wipe 1" radio button
3. Select your CSC as desired
4. Continue making other choices as you like....
Important: By design, you will need to select your desired clock alignment to make the clock show on the status bar via the Phronesis settings. Settings>>Phronesis Rom Control>>Potato Clock>>Alignment>>
And by default too the statusbar is black (v1 - v4.1). To change to transparent or any color combination you prefer go Phronesis settings. Settings>>Phronesis Rom Control>>Potato Gradient>>First color and Second Color>> . Select any combination color of your liking or if you prefer transparent just open the setting of the 2 colors and slide the slider from left to the right for both colors options to make it fully transparent.

Freezing Bluetooth via Titanium Backup Pro disables the bug. Unfreeze to bring BT back if needed but remember the bug will unfreeze too. - FIXED ONLY WITH BLUETOOTH TURNED OFF

Great ROM. plz someone find proximity sensor fix. Sensor it self is working coz if u check with cpu Z app, this sensor detects hand movement and also work on test code *#0*#.

Instructions:
BOOT TO THE RECOVERY/TWRP
WIPE DATA, SYSTEM AND THE CACHES
FLASH A AOSP OS/ROM/FIRMWARE/KERNEL
GO TO THE REBOOT MENU AND SELECT RECOVERY
FLASH THE PATCH BEFORE BOOTING INTO THE SYSTEM
REBOOT TO THE SYSTEM NOW. THE FIRST START MAY TAKE SOME TIME
And that's it. If You don't want to flash a new ROM, just choose the Clean or Full Wipe within the Patch.

You can skip it by disabling the Light System Option, but no Worries. It does not Stuck. It flashs but the Display starts Freezing on some Devices with TWRP. A workaround is to detach the cable and to make a reboot to the recovery right before flashing the Patch (If that does not help just wait some Minutes for the install and press the Power Button a few Times. That brings You back to the recovery after compliting the install) . And it does not install all shown GApps. The Super Package is debloated to the maximum without breaking any Functions or missing extra Google Features. That's why i call it Optimized GApps. The next Patch will be a bit smaller btw

so when it gets stuck installing gapps, you suggest to remove the cable, reboot to recovery and... I didn't get what you mean with '' reboot to the recovery right before flashing the Patch''. if the process gets stuck... what choice do i have on the timing.... sorry I may be a retard or my english is getting rustier but I don't really get what you mean

Or just tap the edge where the next Button is as usual after some waiting. The Device will vibrate when it detects the input... (If it does not vibrate do You need to wait)

The Patch needs to be applied before booting the System the first Time (Or at least on a System with Wiped Data and Caches). There are deep going changes which may cause Problems if applied on already configured Systems. So at the End will You miss Features or in the worst case will You get Force Closes of Apps/System FC...
Take a look on the Instructions from Post #3 to make sure You're flashing it right

i installed this rom...its good but :
1-facelock not worked.
2- and when i installed rom in Aroma i dont choose "game essential app" and now when playing clash royal game i lunch it show me "the game optimizer services stoped"
3-when i unlock screen ...my screen for 1 sec showed black then show wallpaper of lock screen
What should I do?

1. Face Lock is accessible from Settings > Lock Screen Settings > Smart Lock > Trusted Face Recognition. Try again.

But I feel playing game SO LAG. =((
I played games Arena of Valor & PUBG Mobile (with GFX Tools) in S CUBE NFE ROM and feel quite smooth (join in match quickly, no or few lag). But this ROM I join match very late, move very difficult in PUBG Mobile (very lag). I can't play PUBG with this ROM.
Infinity wallpaper so lag when unlock screen.
Another things, I feel very good!! All be updated.

I choosed fingerprintand pattern lock...but now i lock my screen via power button after 10min when pressed home button i can swipe and unlock it..... not work locking screen.... what i doing?

i solved this problem (1).... my smart lock was on.... i cleared smart lock(trust place) then locking screen is worked.

Gaming lag will be there because.... its Note8. its a heavy base for A5 2016. Maybe in future versions, i will try to optimise the ROM

I have installed Your ROM yesterday on my A5 2016. It's first custom rom on that phone, so I'm on it directly from latest stock 7.0 and I have to admit that it's incredible! Some of the features are not working for me, like edge lighting and apps edge, but I don't really need them so it's not a problem. I have already done some debloating and now it's perfect for me! Thank You very much for your work! It's very advanced modification as for A5 and finally this phone is 100% functional and it's using its hardware as it should.
I have installed latest Magisk 18.1, using Magisk uninstaller and flashing the latest than. It's all good!
Only thing I would like to ask is that if I can remove the navbar somehow. I choose to install it in aroma because I forgot about the buttons it has I'm used to my S8 because A5 is like a spare phone for me.

I think that you should wait a little bit longer. In my case installation was just regular:
-format data (because it was first installation after stock)
-reboot to TWRP
-wipe all the rest
-flash the ROM
-reboot to system and wait
First boot took a while, I was already sure that it's not going to work, but it started successfully.
So just try once again and wait about 20 minutes, I think that's maximum time for first boot.

I cleaned the main partitions and installed other ROM and work fine!
I'm testing changing A510M model to A510F and no stuck in "Samsung Galaxy A5 (6)" logo! Have a problem with select A510M model...

Work for now, but the navigation key is not work...
I hope you will make this ROM smooth such as S CUBE NFE ROM. I used it for a long time and I feel very satisfied. I came back S CUBE NFE ROM and was waiting you .

i instaled this rom and very good and fast rom.
I found some issues.hope you will clear soon
1. When restart the phone battery percentage go down 20 to 30%. and conect charger suddenly go 100%
2.whatsapp no notification sound.(need to select separate app sound)no problem.but restart phone all setting gone off and no sound again
3.volte 4g signal is poor
other wise rom is great i like to continue this rom and i hope you will clear this issue.thanks

2 hours SOT for 10% battery drain and its best that i had ever seen with my usual kernel settings.
?My Kernel Tweaks :
Cpu Frequency : 652 - 2150 Mhz
Gpu Frequency : 133 - 560 Mhz
Cpu Governor : Interactive
(Thanks to tejas for changing kernel behaviour tweaks to best level,
He tweaked it to best performance with great battery backup)
(My Usage : Chrome, IDM+, Telegram, music etc. Brightness is 20% as i use same brightness in all roms for testing)
And Active Drain is better than any other Rom ?
I can't post full battery cycle stats, because I got 4 roms to test,
(Many roms are coming to max 2 soon)
i cant sign in on mi account error couldn't check device security info..other than that its working fine

Just need some silly optimization.
Some battery tweaks
And charging speed.cause,in v3,the charging speed was good by comparison after reboot also.and, battery is draining little fast if i do compare with v3.but, undoubtedly, it's the best rom among any other pie based rom for mi max 2.i'm sorry ,cause i have no bank account for donate.But if i got any oy other option for donating,i'll surely donate your team as more as i can.So many well wishes to your team.I hope,you will continue your update by user demand..so many well wishes.

You are a Developer still you don't read instructions properly,
Green Tint is gcam but it can be easily resolved by turning off auto white balance,
And you said rom is slow, because you changed minimum cpu frequency, undercloak causes lags in any rom, so tweak kernel properly.
I mentioned i these things already in this rom post

Best kernel managers are Smart Pack kernel manager and Franco kernel manger, use any one of them and after tweaking kernel, select apply on boot, so that those tweaks will automatically applied after reboot in 30 secs
