[Q] is wallpaper scrolling not supported?

I've changed wallpapers on adw ex but the wallpaper will not scroll... is this intended?
Not sure about adw but apex launcher has a setting you need to turn on. Maybe adw has a setting too?

Hiding App icon in App drawer

Hi Folks
I am looking forward to hide "App Icon" in app drawer. I have searched various options on playstore, but all require rooting.
Secondly, is there any way to create a folder in app drawer where we can put all unused apps?
Please guide me on this
Better would be using apex or nova launcher, Apex Launcher takes nearly same RAM as default launcher
Both have ability to hide apps from drawer

Just install from play store.
Root is not needed
I think only prime nova will hide apps in drawer.

[Q] Every launcher I've tried is laggier than the stock launcher

Open an app on the stock Google Now launcher, it's instant. Do it with Nova/Apex/Action launcher etc... there's a split second delay. Action is the best in this sense though, probably because it's been rewritten for Lollipop
Does anyone know of a third party launcher that is actually as fast as the Google Now launcher? And more importantly, is actually using Lollipop code, and isn't an old kitkat launcher
Thanks

You must did something wrong because nova is just as fast if not faster than stock. Change the animation speeds in nova if you want quicker transitions

Yeah Nova feels just as fast for me as stock.
Turn off animations it's faster than stock when using Nova.
Yea i use nova and its every bit as fast as stock
Nova launcher prime is the best

No issues with apex here
Agreed about Nova, change animation in nova to faster than light as its called then it will be faster than stock.
There is definitely a certain fluidity or smoothness to the stock launcher over all others I agree on that. But I think nova is very very close when you set animations to normal. I personally like a little animation and like to see it. It just feels weird turning them off or setting them to super fast speeds. Looks off

Agree… I like the relaxed ☺ nova setting with cube animation
If you go to Nova settings/look and feel/set the speed to faster than light to all three settings and it's faster than stock Google launcher or any launcher.
Launcher3
anyone got a video showing comparisons of the n6 stock launcher speed vs anyother launchers?
Agree
there's no lag on action launcher 3

It really isn't.
On Google Now launcher, when you open an app it's instant
On Nova, when you open an app, the icon lights up (delay) and then the app opens. Changing animation times won't fix that
I use apex. No issue here

I just went back to my home screen and opened each of the six apps I have as shortcuts two times each and they opened instantly upon touching. No lag. Using Nova Prime.

Are u encrypted stock? What kind of? Ram and storage name? Mine is hynix ram with 32gb sandisk deycrypted boot

Then keep Google launcher. But I disagree also. Nova launcher must faster then google launcher

Why no icon badges?

Why lollipop doesn't show badges on app icons so we can see missing notifications?
Is there a way to enable them in stock launcher? I think the only way is using nova launcher, right?
{Nexus 6 - Tapatalk}
Nova launcher has them
It isn't a feature with stock launcher. Use Nova or apex or any other third party launcher with this feature.
I'm sure when xposed comes to lollipop, it may become a feature in xposed gel settings.

Which launcher is everyone using?

I used the touch wiz launcher originally, but want to try the google now launcher. But now none of my apps show up. Am I better off starting over from scratch with a factory reset?
Which launcher are you using?
I am using nova.
Assuming you did not disable the TW launcher, go to setting...scroll down to applications and select. When that menu pop up, look to your upper left corner you will see three dots going down...click it. Choose default applications, than you will see the option to choose your default home screen under "set as default".

I like Apex, but it was becoming difficult to tell what themes, icons, launcher would stick. I'd fix one thing and something else would vanish, got tired of that. So I found a theme from the Theme Store and now I can stand looking at Touchwiz!!

The Google launcher works fine as long as you don't set up the secure folder, after that is done all the apps disappear from the app drawer...

I am currently using Nova Launcher Prime. Also have Apex Launcher Pro Installed and running in my Note 7 as just in case.
There are reasons that I am not using TouchWiz UX (Grace) Launcher nor Chrome Now Launcher as you will see below:
Here are a 4 Home Launchers that I didn’t choose to stay with after testing with the Note 7
Google Now Launcher – Way too limited. Didn’t transferred the app icons to the App Drawer. So I can’t even copy the Phone Dialer icon over to the Apps Dock. Disappointed since I was wishing to truly integrate Google vanilla experience to the Note 7.
Go Launcher Z – They only allow you to use their Widgets and no third party Widgets. WHAT!!! No Go! They also are getting into Ads and charging lots to get rid of ads (GO Launcher Super v i p price $19.99 (45% off the full price). Go Launcher Prime is $5.99 which I have.
ADW Launcher 1 (New) – Getting less customized and more Google material style. For an example I like transparent App Drawer. The new ADW Launcher only gives you colors like 90s websites for the background in the App Drawer. I used to love ADW, but they are now going backwards.
TouchWiz UX (Grace) - Very lagging, no default access to Live wallpapers, you can't see some of your icons in landscape mode, etc. I really tried to stay with TouhWiz UX. The one thing that turned me to another home launcher is that I am tired of having to go portrait mode to select apps when I am already in landscape mode.
There are serious enough problems with TouchWiz UX to give good reason for the power user to switch home launchers. TouchWiz UX is lagging, no default access to Live wallpapers, you can't see some of your icons in landscape mode, etc. We can get around that with a custom home launcher like Nova Launcher, Apex Launcher, etc. I found that both Nova Launcher and Apex Launcher doesn't get in the way of Samsung's features. Meaning both of these home launchers allow all Samsung features to work within these launchers on Note 7.
Personally I don’t like "3D" home launchers. Which is the reason I didn’t try them with Note 7.
Recommendation Note:
I recommend trying either Nova Launcher or Apex Launcher. Both worked wonderfully with Note 7 and provide much customization. Nova Launcher is the first one I would try out only because of the third party customization for the Nova Launcher.
I use HomeSmack to switch between home launchers. Works flawlessly with Note 7.

Not sure what you mean by "...can't see all icons in landscape mode...." for Touchwiz. I don't remember Touchwiz rotating to landscape on the home screen. One reason I've not liked it since about donut or was it gingerbread?
Nova Prime here as well.
Nova Prime, but might try AL3 ( Action Launcher ) down the road...
Nova Prime here as well
