I'm currently in Pixel Experience ROM Pie February build on my Redmi 4X. I have watched a video on changing accent color in Pixel Experience ROM on Redmi Note 5 Pro device.
So, can we change accent color in our Redmi 4X ? If yes, then can anyone provide me the file or the link ? Or Redmi Note 5 Pro file will work for our device too ?

I dont think so.
You should have change the rom the use this feature.
Well i prefer you to use havoc os or syberia os.

Are they good enough as a daily driver ? I'm using Pixel experience & it's good enough.
Yeah both roms are good.
Worth a try and can be used as daily driver with stock kernal of both roms.
Try not install magisk or rooting your device after that
Stability of ram reduces.
But without magisk or rooting I'm using havoc os .
So awesome rom.
Syberia is good but I'm using airtel so it didnt connect sometime to 4g network.but if you are using jio then you can go for it.but on havoc network is great.
I prefer you havoc after that syberia.

I agree, HavocOS is the best for me
Yeah havoc is great for customisation
But pixel experience ia best for stability.
Hi developers and fellow modders!
I got to know that our samsung a30 supports project treble and so we can install any gsi(generic system image ) it!!
That means latest updates as well of almost any android too be it stock or not!!
I wanted to know why is there no post regarding this?
Moreover this requires twrp which is already available and the vendor.zip needs to be found and then we can install any gsi rom out there be it lineage, pixel experience etc etc... Pls help pls as there is virtually no development for android 10.

You can try Shapeshift GSI by Diust, been using it since quite a while, 12-13 hour sot and antutu scores are 194k, quite close to 201k of MIUI.

I suggest you to keep on stock rom firmware only.
Root it with magisk. Flash it with twrp.
And everything is fine.

Stock ROM is from redmi factory.
Custom ROM is from outside the android community ROM based on you're model red mi.
Gsi ROM open source android basically all android from 8,9,10,11.
Biggest problem not a hot selling brand this phone.So custom ROM will take a long time if it ever should come out.
Gsi is not specified to this model so expect bugs,fails.Things most said volte,light sensor,VoIP.
I can't help you with what ROM to choice because I didn't change the ROM that much.
Just a little tip this year the redmi army.Is most likely rolling out android 11 and later on half way this year miui 13.

this thread is fake, LineageOS is not coming soon at all, Android 12, DotOS, Pixel Experience and crDroid are all GSIs, the only exception being Arrow OS, which is source built
i test them all they are ok but camera app is trash better install gcam
only working rom is crdroid only bug is no animation when charging phone
