Please let me know to unlock bootloader unofficially in MI 5. I have tried many methods suggested in the web but have not been successfull.

Is there any solution to unlock the xiaomi redmi 3x bootloader without using a PC?
At the moment I don't have access to a laptop so I can't unlock the phone with the mi unlock tool and my phone is unrooted. Kingroot etc doesn't work.

Hello. I know it is little bit late but for me this is something new. So finally I have Xiaomi Mi Mix. So I want to install Lineage OS and I read need to unlock bootloader. So I don't know should I need to use Mi Unlock app to unlock bootloader or just enable OEM unlock and I can flash custom twrp? For the moment I enable this feature in developer options.

Make sure to log in in mi unlock tools with same account as in your device, turn on usb debugging, turn on oem unlock in developers options.
it usually takes 72 Hours or in some cases more to wait and then unlock.
you may want to try different version(s) of mi unlock tools.(sometimes that works)
unfortunately waiting is the solution to get it unlock officially.
also there is unofficial way to unlock bootloader, if you wish you can try at your risk.

How are you trying to unlock it?
If you're trying any other way than using MiUnlock, it's probably gonna fail.
