Audiophils help - Sony Xperia 1 II Questions & Answers

Hi guys I'm after improving my audio I have the galaxy buds but for me they just dont seem loud enough
I'm not an audiophile I just like my music loud and punchy so my question is
Which is the best route and easiest for loud good sounding music (headphone jack,Bluetooth, usb type c adapter)
I have some decent scenhizer headphones but feel the headphone jack doesn't pump out enough volume for them
Thanks

I have used https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tbig.playerprotrial for many years. In the equalizer settings you can boost the pre-amp.

No, it will work only in the app itself. Personally I am satisfied with the volume, it's just that the volume control seems to be logarithmic, below 60-70% it is very soft, but above that it's ok (for me)

I bought xba-n3 AP, I should receive them next week, I hope that audio level will be good as these are high quality headphones.

Thanks so the dac in the bluetooth headphones are responsible for the volume etc so different ones will sound louder/quieter and not dont to the device itself?
Thanks

[Q] LG Optimus Black Jack 3.5mm Audio Quality

Hi everyone
I 'm thinking to buy this smartphone but after read one review at gsmArena I got some doubts...
I was shocked at the alleged missing of low frequencies (bass) at the 3.5mm output.

LG Optimus Black P970 frequency response
Review @ gsmArena
Anyone can tel-me, based on your experience, if this is true??
Or they made this test with some equalization that make this to append.
Any help?
I bought the phone over a month and never tested the audio jack. Hahaa.
Edit: tested few minutes ago with 2.1 speakers and yess low frequency is bad also mid range lack of details.

It isn't so bad as that and there are lot's of apps that can help improving the audio.

Yeah because I tested with original music app baypass eq. It's true that phone 3.5mm port signal quality is below others like my nokia 6500s and galaxy ace are better. But you can always use other app or use headphone amplifier.

How was your experience with the loudspeaker/speakerphone and the earpiece during that month? Do they also show lack of bass (or lack of sound quality in any way)?
It's kind of a dealbreaker for me.. (I'm fickle )
Thanks before!
(Oh, and anyone feel free to chip in )

crisp but a bit thin i think, of course you can't feel the bass with external speaker. imo if you're looking for nice music phone, optimus black is not recommended.

Well I don't want the phone tubthumping with my thigh either
Thanks gan
The quality isn't great with default player, but once you get PowerAmp it's like a different device, the quality is just so much better with lot's of bass. I don't know why it sounds so much better with Poweramp but it's like night and day. I ended up buying it because it made such a difference.

Headphones problem.

Hey guys,
After using my phone for 2 months now I noticed some problems with my headphones (MH1C). Sometimes volume of left headphone is quieter than right one, it kinda sucks when you are listening to music with 2 different volume levels. Not sure why it occurs maybe software problem (I used 2 different stock firmwares, same problem). Also I always lose my headphones (gums?) this ->

Is there any way to buy original (gums?) somewhere? I tried to search it on ebay and other sites but no luck.
The earphones of my MW1 are the same as the stock Z1 one and I had the same problem. After few hours the left one decreased the volume by itself, when it get a bit hotter, because inside is working, even if the volume is not to high.
They are defective and I get the replacement, Sony provide 6 month of warranty on Accessories.
Then go for replacement and in the same time ask for the Gums. BTW, you will receive a new earphones with new (1 pair) of Gums.
I thought I damaged my earphones but seems that you have the same problem. I don't know what happenend but when I connected them to the phone one side had much lower volume than the other. I pluged them in my laptop and I had the same issue. It's quite annoying listening to music with to different volumes..I hope that I can get a new pair from sony
I have the same issue. If the sound decreases then just try to cool it off. (take off the gums and stick the headphones to something cool) it sounds weird, but it works xD

Yeah, but I'm lazy as hell so I'm cooling them down this way because I haven't sent my phone with the headphones yet. (cracked back, I'm too lazy to fix my other headphones).

MOTO G3 2015 earphones

which earphones are compatible with moto g3 2015???
As far as I have "read/heard" Xiamoi Piston 3 are working also the volume buttons... But I had no chance right now to test by myself
Enviado desde mi MotoG3 mediante Tapatalk
Yeah I am using mi piston 3...volume buttons and everything works....good to go for it.
Right now i use the Earpods, they sound really good and are cheap (in my country). But i had to make a adapter to make the volume control work, because in iDevices the polarity of the microphone is inverted.
just ordered audio teechnica ath clr100 . heard a lot of positive reviews about them
I use Sennheiser CX 180. A bit cheap, but that coupled with Viper4Android offers an awesome sound quality, imo.
It's also surprisingly rugged, despite looking fragile.
audio technica ath clr 100 are amazing. if u are a base head then stay away as these are for clear neutral sound(not flat but balanced)
Cuz i lost my idevice i am using my iphone headphone sound like good
am using soundpeats qy7 bluetooth , its a new company ,awesome hi-fi sound with good bass , you can read review of this in amazon
price is INR 1900,
I'm still using my Motorokr EH-25 from my Motorola Milestone I love it!

Both Sony's MDR-ZX300AP/B (over-ear headphones) and Apple's Earpod work ok. I tend to use Sony's when I'm at home and the Earpods while I'm running or cycling.
I use ATH-CLR100 In-Ear Headphones!
I use these coupled with V4A
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0...X236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=jvc+earphones
I use xt 180, sennheisser. Superb
M using JBL T150A.Dont think someone would find any other in-ear earphones with mic with such amazing sound output at such a cheap rate.Bass is Good.Noice Cancellation is also worth mentioning .
Xiaomi Piston III. About $20 they perform like an pair that is at least $75. The quality is amazing for the price. Has a mic, pause, fast forward, and rewind button. Can't reccomend enough.
i use good old inears philips she3581. top sound
How about jbl c100si....wesome sound clarity woth bass and great price
Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
Sony MDR-ZX310... Very good sound..
Beyerdynamic MMX102IE - were bought on sale and worth it - wasn't willing to fork over more than $80 on IEMs (unless they were ATK's or other) since I've been burned by reviews recommending poo headsets (within the $100 range). Nobody was talking (or even mentioning) about these at the time so figured what the heck. Not disappointed - likely to be more bassy than the ATK's but as with everything else they can be EQ'd to suit anyhow.
The next step up would be some Koss cans or whatever Chinesuim BT headset I can get away with while riding the bus and not being a mugging target

[Q] speaker volum too law

Hi guys, I have two problems I do not know how to solve:
1-level audio speaker is too low when I listen to music or I watch netflix, is there a way to increase audio power?
I read somewhere about media volum limiter but I can not find it on my notes even if I'm looking for it I do not find this option
2- if I block a phone number from the call log using pull-down menus, the number appears blocked but it is not, to block it I really have to use phone settings / block numbers, is it a bug?
Regarding your first question, yes the volume in note 8 is not loud, but you can enhace it in settings>sonds and vibrations>sound quality and effects>equalizer, custom, and there put all freqs to max, besides, you can adjust the performance mode to entertainment

Easiest way (and cheapest) is Chromecast, it's integrated in my Shield TV box and it works well with Mi 9

since Xioami didn't bother to include a USB-C 3.1 with DP-alt mode the only way for you would be a chromecast, yet the wireless displayed content is piss-poor in quality. it looks very bad.

I didn't notice that , with a good connection, at least with built-in Chromecast in Shield the quality of screen sharimg is good and lag very acceptable (not enough to play a fps of course)
After that, CC is able to stream content directly from Internet, it's perfect in 1080p in this case
