Motorola Turbo Charger

It looks like the Motorola Turbo Charger is going to be the first Quick Charge 2.0 charger available in the states. Do anyone know if the M8 need a software update for Quick Charge 2.0 to work? 34.99 is not bad if I can charge my phone fully within 15-30 minutes.
What I saw said in 30 minutes of charging, you get 8 hours usage back. My M8 charges in an hour from nearly nothing. And I get about 20 hours a charge.
Just search for 2A chargers. There's one on Newegg that is $5 shipped. I ordered three, one was a dud. Ain't even mad, took its cord and stuck it in one of the others (they all have two ports). Now my wife can charge her phone and her tablet at the same time.

Indeed it does need a software update for QC 2.0 to be enabled. There is a post on this forum from someone who bought the NTT Docomo charger from Japan and it didn't charge any faster than a 1.5A or 2A charger.
Highly Disappointing. I ordered my Motorola charger this morning and didn't realize it would not work without a software update. Very sad.

Didn't they already launched that update, to support the feature?

If they did, I missed it. I hope you are right! I'll have to dig around.
Why not ask htc support directly?
I just confirmed with HTC support and we can use whatever quick-charge 2.0 (qualcomm certified) we wish, the phone is already prepared for that. I also asked if and when would they launch one and they said they have no info regarding that .
I would much prefer buying a HTC one than paying 35 bucks for the motorola one.
I was wondering... This charge don't damage battery?
samo sie wyslalo
If it did, would they launch this technology?
It surely limits the number of charge cycles before the capacity dips below 80% of what it started with. The more current the hotter it gets, batteries do not like heat. It accelerates their degradation. I reckon it is not intended for daily charging but to quickly get an 80% charge from time to time.
The Quick-charge only boosts the speed it chargers from 0 to 30 per cent, then it decreases the speed so that dosent happen.
What was the outcome? Will it blend?

LETV 13400mAH Power Bank QC2.0 2 Way Power Bank

Hello all:
I just ordered this and based on the specs and review, it appears to be a good buy.
http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Orig...SB-For-iPhone-Samsung-HTC---Black-353596.html
It's at a pre-sell price $32.99 + if you sign up for a new account at GeekBuying a 5% off coupon. I will getting it in 5 days (DHL) and will post a review up on XDA.
Here's a 3rd party review on it I found online.
http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/08/3...ank-supports-bi-directional-quick-charge-2-0/
'The highlight of the LeTV Power Bank is that its supports bi-directional Quick Charge QC 2.0 specification. This means, you can charge the power bank at high speed as well as charge your smartphone at high speed.'
Just spreading the wealth to those interested! :good:
Looks very interesting. I'm between this and the Amazon Basics 10,000 which I already have but my partner wants and steals on a daily basis xD

looking for a cheap good power bank

Hello I have Redmi note 4 sd edition, I am looking to buy a cheap power bank, I can spend 20 euros for it.. and it's too much, for a power bank that is thin and can charge 1-2 times my phone. Please send me links, also I am not interested for a OEM powerbank. Thanks , John

OnePlus warp charge comparability ?

Does anyone know/Think that the OnePlus warp or warp charge 30 power adapter would work with the Realme X2 pro ?
I know it will not be as fast but I can get one for free from oneplus referral points and it would be UK 3 pin.
Realme says the phone is compatible with other charging technologies like quick charge.
I will test it with my Oneplus 6T charger once I receive the phone and of it works I will get another one from Oneplus
Why don't you use the 50w supervooc inside the box?

I need a UK adapter but have purchased one so will be using the vooc charge occasionally when needed,
As these batteries only have certain number of cycles I would prefer to charge the phone with something else on a daily basis.
I'm interested in maintaining the battery for a few years so would like to keep it somewhere in the 45 to 85 range which has worked well for me with all recent phones I've owned

I don't think it's necessarly bad for the phone but I don't trust it either. I have read in many reports it is quick charge compatable and I've heard that the OnePlus dash charge has worked also. I personally have no issue with these slower charge speeds and actually prefer them.
I will use the 50 watt in times I need it otherwise I will use the other ones
There is 2 batteries in the X2 pro and from what I understand the 50w is split between them both.... So it's more like 25w per battery as apposed to a single battery taking a full 50w. I personally wouldn't worry about it and enjoy the rapid charging.

The phone has 2 batteries... Each charging at 25w so it is ok

Not necessarily, whether there's two or one battery, each will need to be maintained to some degree or they will degrade
I always charge it over the night with an old and slow adapter from my LG g4, if I need a boost, I use the vooc One, did the same with the previous huawei mate 10 pro for 2 years and battery is still as good as the first day [emoji6]

I got a warp charge 30T charger from OnePlus but am yet to try it. Ive decided to just stick with the 50 watt for now,I can tell you that my OnePlus 6T charger worked fine, charging at full speed around 27 watt(or whatever it is)

pleas share your experience with other chargers than supervooc.

hello since i bought my phone without charger and i can't buy a supervooc in my contry pleas share your experience with other chargers than supervooc wich one are the best for the x2 pro the ones that can charge it below 1 hour i have tried xiaomis 18w&27w but unfortunately the take more than 2 hours to charge it fully thank you all in advance for sharing.
Why do you keep opening new threads? There are already other two (on top of some old threads) where this has been discussed.

Maybe you should ask on Reddit or Realme Forums about this,There's obviously not a lot of users who regularly check in here but honestly I think it should be relatively easy to source an oppo vooc, super vooc or OnePlus charger from somewhere
