Hello everyone...This is my first step towards developement...I created Paradox kernel for learning and after adding many features, its time to release it to community...Paradox kernel is based on latest Lineage 14.1 sources and supports LineageOs 14.1 and all other lineage based Aosp (7.x.x) roms...My moto is to make a stable and balanced kernel having better performance as well as good battery life with usefull features
Once again, Paradox kernel is for NOUGHT ONLY (LINEAGE 14.1 and AOSP 7.X).

Installation Instructions
Note:- If you are coming from other kernel, flash your rom before installing it(dirty flash will work too) to avoid any conflicts.
Also if you are updating to latest release of paradox kernel,you must flash your rom before flashing latest paradox kernel.
Steps to flash :-
- reboot to twrp recovery
- clean cache and dalvik cache
- flash paradox zip
- reboot
- enjoy

[Q] This kernel works in stock rom?
NO, this kernel is based on lineage sources and works on Lineage 14.1 and all other AOSP 7.x.x roms.
[Q] Got errors during flashing/after flashing this kernel...what to do now?
Well if you are coming from any other kernel you must dirty flash your rom once to avoid any conflicts.After dirty flashing your rom flash this kernel and you won't face any problems.Also use twrp latest version (recommended)
[Q] I am having some random reboots/bugs...what to do?
Just report it with last_kmsg which is located in /proc/last_kmsg or in case of any bugs report it with logcat and proper information about how you encountered it.I will do my best to resolve it asap.
[Q] how to tweak this kernel for advanced features (like dt2w on/off,s2w on/off or changing cpu governor or i/o sechdulors) ?
Use kernel adiutor app for playing with the kernel and change the settings according to your own taste.
[Q]How to ask for any features ?
You can ask in this thread...if I find feature useful and logical then it'll be added...I would appreciate if you link me with commit. It's really hard to dig in the sources and find the exact commit.

Luis actually its LiveDisplay conflicting with KCal...turn off live display from settings>> Display >> LiveDisplay ...after that display willbe normal. Thanks for trying my kernel by the way...

Edit :- Ok guyss...i figured out the real issue...it was a tiny mistake by me and that's why when kcal colour was caliberated it automatically turned back...All is well now nd i will be updating it in an hour...this time the changelogs is gonna be huge.
S2W is working without any issues...its just disabled by default...if you want to use it then enable it first by kernel adiutor app.

Yo guysss...its time for an update... I have been pretty much busy due to exams...finally its over and i'm back to developement.
This is the build for 7.x.x only...i haven't started on oreo yet...but i will do that shortly.

I can not Uninstall synapse. I use mtweak an in not use synapse. After restart is the synapse app back.
I have use titanium Backup an root Uninstaller but everyone cant Uninstaller this app.

Create the '/sdcard(internal storage)/Synapse/do_not_force_install' file.
* MTweak can not support all the features of this kernel.
* Synapse is somewhat unstable, but it is the best solution for a custom kernel.

I have deleted the synapse file with root from the intern sd but there is coming back.
An when i install this kernel the i have no volte icon in the statusbar.

if you create a 'do_not_force_install' file in /sdcard/Synapse folder, Synapse does not install automatically.
the problem with voLTE is that my device is G930K(Korean variant). i can not test for the carriers in all countries.
please try to use v1.3.0 and tell me if it is voLTE.

It is not the best because it causes other(high temperature) problems.
I did this kernel, but I chose another way. Just trust me.

you must first,CREATE a file in 'synapse' folder...
then,after,you can delete synapse/ install kernel/reboot/whatever...

Hey you need to reply fast. I found something. I love your kernel already but there is a problem. The hotspot doesn't work. I remembered The Skater Had this problem and @sunilpaulmathew helped him saying he needed to updated the branch to pie. So could you look into this please. Thank you

Hello, sorry, from what I can remember from my testing, WiFi hotspot works. Unfortunately, I have to stop development for now because my S5's screen was broken due to car crash. I may continue to work on the kernel though some time later. For now, I just hope I can find a cheap display replacement

What rom? Mine works fine. Wifi works fine. Be sure to turn off wifi before turning on hotspot. The bootanimation lag is bearable for me as my kernel prefers lower frequencies, but ux seems smooth for me, just the bootanimation lags. It might be due to slower timer I use (100Hz vs Lineageos's 300Hz)

I just remembered I had the same problem as yours. What I did was I turned off wifi before turning hotspot on. Hope it solves your problem

It's a new concept kernel as the usual, this is focused on a improved UI experience to feel the smoothness of a Pixel device.
It's based on latest CAFEST base of sm8150 with clean code, including a several backports from 4.19 CAFEST kernels into the scheduler, making the optimum approach to low jank and jitter experience.

Introducing schedION governor
schedION is a governor developed by me, it's main purpose is to save battery with PELT Scheduler, you can play game with lower drain and heat, performance still better than stock kernel. This is governor is activated selection "schedion" on the tree clusters and ONLY on PELT edition.
Introducing Spectrum profiles
Spectrum is a simple kernel manager app created by @frap129 in 2017 supporting kernels since Android 5.0 Lollipop, its very special because allows the kernel dev to ship a kernel with preconfigured profiles, with balance, battery, performance and gaming mode, so you can try the best setup made for the kernel without manipulating any kernel variable using others kernel managers.
Spectrum is shipped with Quantic-Kernel since version 1.0, prior versions doesn't support it: like pre-releases and RC.
Spectrum profiles can be applied using Spectrum from Playstore

This kernel is going really good and some other good features are coming on next builds. All should try rn.

That's because stock crDroid kernel hasn't the newest changes of fp made by markakash, please try to delete your saved fingerprint and add it again, should work normally.

I expected that, fp scanner differs between AOSP and MIUI, I'll try to make something to let fp work but big chances are that it would not work.

fingerprint is gone and there is no possibility to insert it again because the menu "device security> fingerprint" no longer exists

Thanks for feedback, I have bad news, xiaomi changed the FP implementation on 11.0.5 and source code hasn't released, so I can't make anything to make it work until xiaomi release the sc, you can try with another version such as 11.0.2

The smoothness and battery on this kernel + pixel experience are fantastic (10-11% screen on drain and 0.3-0.6% screen off) but I've got a problem with the 835mhz oc of the GPU.
On 835 it crashes on 3d apps right away (games and AnTuTu) while on 735 it is smooth and stable.
Is it because if the aosp rom or just the fact that the gpu is not stable at 835? Thanks.

Using the kernel along with Pixel Experience ROM, FP works well, no random reboot. And this kernel has something that I'm looking for, 735 MHz GPU. Sometimes my phone stuttered using the 835 MHz, that's why the 735 is really important instead of the 675 MHz ones. Thank you dev!
