2.) Factory reset "DATA" ONLY!
3.) Flash Havoc0S using ADB Sideload. Flash stock17n_kernel.zip made by faizauthar12
Notes: You should flash stock17n_kernel to fix audio problem or else you will end up with no audio and no audio drivers. Look for Lineage OS thread for download of stock kernel

Q&A
Why I need to flash and use stock kernel?
Stock kernel have a working audio and working audio drivers, since the Kernel Source Code released
by Samsung Open Source have Audio (techpack) problem or broken (according to faizauthar12).
I can confirmed it too. This is currently better Source Code than Galaxy A80 which is totally broken and can't be use.
When support for OneUI 2.1?
When Samsung will release the next Kernel Source Code, then it will be out sooner!

Screenshots:

Here we go! Some sweetness...!

Hey this looks good!
Can someone create a step by step procedure, as some may be unfamiliar with the sideload method (i've only ever used it to modify build.prop/default.prop files).
Thanks guys, will try this next weekend.

A couple of questions:
1. Will it work on phones updated to UI 2.1
2. will it work on phones with build xxx2ATG1
thanks

When will there be pixel experience?

Hi,
the Lineage OS doesn´t run on my Fon. There is an error Message in this moment i will install the Mod.
I think it doesn´t run because i have the A71 (SM-A715F/DS).
You write that your OS runs on A71. But i need 100% of Bluetooth
So i wait a little bit if you can fix the Problem with BT. What is the Base of your OS? It looks a little like Resurrection Remix
Best regards

You must provide a clear details of your reports so that I can help you firmly. Your Device is currently supported with this Havoc OS and Lineage OS. You must always follow the instruction that I provided in my posts. You must use Lineage Recovery made by faizauthar12 to prevent any installation errors and failures. You must need to post the details of your error message here, currently we doesn't face any installation errors in Lineage Recovery.

I can't see anywhere in this post that these questions have been asked before.......
A simple yes or no would be more informative to everyone.

Sorry for the less information, it was 4AM and i was tired.
Definetly Lineage runs NOT on my Fon. Shame that i don´t had make Pictures but soooon when i install your OS, i will test it again with Lineage and make Pictures! Certainly i had installed the TWRP from faizauthar12 before i install the Rom. But perhaps i had make a mistake. I will inform you later if i begin to install. Thank you 1st for your response.
Edit Later:
That is the Problem. It doesn´´t matter which OS i installed. It ends in this screen

No, i don´t.
I have make some Pics that you can see how i install.
Wipe ONLY Data and install per ADB Sideload, Installation succesful.
Then i wanted to install the File "stock-a71n.zip"......
The File "stock-a71n.zip" don´t want to install anyway. But you are in the Recovery, and it ask you "Install again? Yes, No" and i click on Yes and you see that the installation runs well.
After that i want to install Gapps, that doesn´t run too.
and how i have written, every time it ends in this screen.
So what i have done wrong?
I found this Thread here and execute this what is written under Point 3.
After that i installed again havoc-mod, stock-a71n.zip and gapps and the System is booting without errors.
After the Moment where i insert my Sim Pin, the System makes a reboot and so on. I don´t see the first screen, directly after Pin it make reboots.
(Sorry for my bad english and Grammar!)

Finally! You made it. Nice ?
At first boot sim card not working on I9192 but reboot fixed this(yaa!)
Everything else works fine Calls, msg, Mobile data,WiFi ,camera, sound etc
Only thing that I noticed So far is home button doesn't wake the screen (although home button work for other tasks like going home etc)
And it doesn't have any settings related to this (not even on havoc customisation)

This was missing from the overlays, something that Havoc in particular needs to have specified compared with Lineage. New builds later today with this included.

Wake with home button Doesn't work with 23/11/2019 build either
Surprisingly wake with volume button is not working on 22 build(tested many times) but work on this build that's kinda weird

Nice work. I hope you will release stable version soon. You will be the first one to make a propper non-buggy OS.
Also, I think you should check out ResurectionRemix 7.0.2 for our devices. This is the most stable OS for now. Maybe you could import some stuff out of there.
Good luck.

What about Havoc is unstable? Lineage is buggy? RR is less buggy than both of these? This is all news to me.

Try without Gapps
Google services are the reason behind those lags and slow downs

Lineage 15 consumes too much power, and auto-brightness doesn't function properly. There were also some other problems, but I don't remember them.
In RR, everything works great. It is pretty fast, and consumes only about 2-4% of charge at night. However, it has some bugs as well. Like screen sometimes goes black, and I need to turn the screen off, and on.
Well I tried it and it's a good rom except some little things like the launcher get that msg to so stop it or wait for it after every boot but as I said it's a good rom with a good interface and customization
Just wanna a little help guys I have the GT-I9195 I found it in the street I buy for it a new battery but when it reach about 60% it turn off automatically and when I plug it in charge it show that the battery is empty
What u guys think about this
Thanks for the great ROM!!!Everything works fast and stable!Battery holds perfectly!!!On gt-i9192.
I hope the work will continue !!!
Small donation coming your way, @ripee (via paypal) as a token of appreciation for bringing such a wonderfully customizeable OS to our tiny S4 Mini devices.

TWRP for zenlte
For some reason, TeamWin's build servers couldn't build version 3.4.0-0 for zenlte from the marshmallow branch of the official source tree (the most recent one), so I ran my own build:
twrp-3.4.0-0-zenlte.img
twrp-3.4.0-0-zenlte.tar
zenltetmo has an official 3.4.0-0 build.
I've been following thread since on note5 pages. Im glad that u finally make it on here
Tried to install here, and current message is Updater process ended with ERROR: 7 Error installing zip file. SMG928G
Just needed to erase first lines of the updaterscript to get install on TWRP.
Wi-fi not working. calls stays on speaker only.

Hi,
Wanted to join you at Telegram, but get the message the invite has expired or I get "This chat does not exist".
Gr, J
Hello I really like the ROM you are building
I'm new to custom roms, is this compatible with my S6 Edge+ AT&T (SM-G928A)? I searched online and it says it's a GSM model sl I'm confused if my phone is compatible. Thanks!
success on G928F
@ripee, thank you very much!
@ripee, a typo? "Flash Gapps [ARM64/9.0/PICO](Optional)". Should it not be 10.0?
Just rooted my G928F, using these instructions: http://www.samsungsfour.com/tutoria...nougat-7-0-using-cf-auto-root-all-models.html
As I'm using Linux, I used the odin4 cli from: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/odin4-v1-0-linux-t3782930
./odin4 -a CF-Auto-Root-zenlte-zenltexx-smg928f.tar.md5
@ripee, thanks again for the TWRP build earlier in the thread, I needed that.
./adb push twrp-3.3.1-0-zenlte.img /sdcard/
Used TWRP app to flash the zip
Used open gapps from https://opengapps.org/
./adb push lineage-17.1-20200315-UNOFFICIAL-zenlte.zip /sdcard/
./adb push .open_gapps-arm64-10.0-pico-20200322.zip /sdcard/
Used TWRP to flash above
All is running fine till now, not found any major issue till now.
is there any fix for in call audio i have none using g928t

thanks you so much, you save a bit time!!!

Everything i have tested so far works, there is room for improvement in the performance department, battery is what you can expect. Using it with pico Gapps. Best part is screen cast works(which wasn't entirely the case with Lineage 17). Bluetooth was pretty unstable with first boot but after using it for a few hours it has also improved(pretty much expected that).
Few things that can be added:
Control for lights of capactive button
Option to wake using home button(as reported earlier)
Overall everything works and is rock solid total liveable Rom (i dont use root/Magisk)
Kudos dev Thanks for the Rom
PS. ill try changing "mixer_path.xml" values using twrp to improve mic(to my liking) and install gcam for s5 twrp version :fingers-crossed: hopefully nothing will break
is this compatible with kltekor ?

Thanks for adding this. I just installed yesterday moving from Pie Resurection Remix and was looking for some of these features, especially Smart Pixels, now you added them!
I'm on a 900v and will dirty flash and let you know how it goes.
In order to get the LED fade animation to work, I'm guessing I can't change to the tuned kernel?
New Build #2404-2 is uploaded!
-enabled Home Button Wake (I forgot to implement in the previous build of today )
-fixed SystemUI crash by changing renderscript blobs thanks to @khalvat-M

I tired that, on New Build #2404 (not New Build #2404-2) and it killed my cellular connection. I tired restoring EFS, but that didn't work. I just clean flashed, and then restored EFS and now the cellular connection is back up.
This is a bug usually specific to Verizon service on 900V models, so YMMV.
One bug/problem I did notice is if you enable the Screen Stabilization, and Smart Pixel features at the same time, you will get screen strobing effect, so don't do that.
@cnkzlyr Thanks again for making this ROM. New Build #2404 has been working fairly stable today.
I do have a couple questions though.
1) I was not able to find where I enable the control of the button backlights, or LED fade Animation.
The search option in settings gave no results for those features, also smart pixel gives no results.
I did of course find smart pixel, but many of the features I'm used to finding in other places on Res Remix, aparrently are somewhere else
2) Is there a way to still use the hardware recents, and back buttons? I could not find such an option in the buttons section. I prefer them to software buttons, but don't waste time on it, if nobody else cares about that feature.
Last thing) The previous version of Havoc ported by another XDA member (ver 3.2 I believe) did not seem to have functioning suspend actions, or smart charging features. Are those working in this version? I have another app on f-droid that works for the smart charging feature, but the supend actions are something I have not seen elsewhere.
I will try to dirty flash the fixed New Build #2404-2 version either tonight, or tomorrow, and let you know if any of those things listed above is any different.

I have dirty flashed from the 'New Build #2404' to the 'New Build #2404-2' and also have, magisk, no gapps, no custom kernel. I can't find the home button wake either.
@cnkzlyr
The smart charging and suspend actions don't seem to work on my 900V.
I start a stream on streaming app with wifi off, and suspend action set to turn off mobile data when screen off. The stream continues, and the data never turns off.
I haven't extensively tested the GPS off suspend action, but it also seems to not turn off in simple screen on and off tests.
Smart charging never stops charging at the percent it is set at. (80%)
The wake phone on volume seems to work most of the time, but not always.
The biggest problem is that on every reboot the efs partition is wiped, and my cellular service will not work.
I do have an efs backup from the last available Samsung based ROM, and restore that to get service back.
Not sure if this is a Lineage 17.1 problem that affects all 900v phones, but that is what happens. Is there anyway to capture some log file to see what is happening?

FAQS {READ BEFORE POSTING}
Q1 I can't pass safetynet/I can't get cts profile to be valid.Now?
Guide to pass ctsProfile
1. Search and download MagiskHide Props Config and Busybox for Android NDK from the Download section within Magisk
2. Download termux from the play store
3. Reboot the device as necessary
4. Run the following commands within termux su then props
5.Press the keys in order on each prompt 1,f,6,23,y,y
Q2 My Device is stuck in Booloop
Make sure you have followed the instructions on how we install it. Make sure you are on the latest One UI either 2 or 2.1 it doesn't matter as long as you're on Q. Wipe Everything and flash the rom, gapps (flame gapps preferable), magisk if you want
Q3 I am having problems setting up my phone on initial BOOT
FLASH Flame GAPPS basic. It's similar with open gapps pico but with sound picker.
Q4 Why isn't X feature there? Its there in xyz rom
I have recently worked on this due to the quarantine situations that gave me time to work on it. I have worked alone and currently I am working on my own because everyone is busy with their own lives right now. If you have a feature request, I will not guarantee adding it because I may get busy.
I built this ROM for personal use but since evryone is sitting at home now I thought to publish it.
Q5 Will we be back in the next Android version?
Sure.
Q6 Will this Rom get updates?
Yes. Regular up to some point

Does volte work in this rom?
Hi, is this rom compatible with the g9600? I'm new to the world of S9 roms and I'm looking for a custom one to install, but I've seen that there are so many models that I wonder which one to choose. Gave.

The struggle is really the initial setup from gapps. if you dont install any gapps you wont have the struggles . since this doesn't use ota, i might build with gapps, but that's gonna be soon or maybe won't happen at all.
My struggle with this rom is the phone, as soon as it rings, it hangs up.... no clue why
After successful flashed this rom. My SD card items not showed. Formatted my SD still same issue. Could you pls help
Most stable rom out there.
But questions though.
How to remap bixby as you added in the 17th sept's changelog
How to remove camera from lockscreen shortcut
Otherwise kernel is very much efficient saving battery a lot and also doesn't get heat compare to other roms for the device even considering stock

Bixby remap with Button Mapper ??
How to fully remap bixby key using Button Mapper (app from store), allowing for single, double, long, and peek press actions.
This will allow you to do so without having Google Assistant open at the same time. Requires pro version & root access
1.
Download Button Mapper & get pro.

Have tried various mods to get back audio clarity which stock gives but could not find any. Mods available are just kind of equilizers but there is something wrong with very core which makes audio quality like this. All of the rom expect based on stock could not get us this quality.

Hi, on the 3.8 and previous versions of the rom, I was using button mapper for the bixby button and it was working fine but now with the 3.9, the single tap action doesn't work anymore. How to fix it ?

[UNOFFICIAL][ROM][10][A520X/A720X] HavocOS 3.8

HavocOS 3.8 Unofficial for SM-A520X & SM-A720X
This ROM was only built by me. I do not deserve much credit. As such I have not included a donation URL for myself.
Please instead give donations to the people who helped make the resources for building this project available to me.
If you require support please contact me before the developers of HavocOS or LineageOS. This is an unofficial build,
and will likely remain unofficial. Bugs should be same as LineageOS as most of the device-specific code used here
is from Lineage (sources linked below). Additionally, this thread and this thread were shamelessly harvested to create
this one. If the authors of those threads wish for me to redesign this thread without the usage of their thread contents
please contact me.
NOTE: I only own an A520W, and I have not tested cellular connectivity as I do not have a spare sim card. I have tested
most other functionality and found no issues on the A520W. This should work just fine for all A520X and A720X models,
however these devices have not been tested with this ROM so I cannot guarantee funcitonality. This should be implied with all custom ROMs, but flash at your own risk.
Enjoy the ROM!

"Ambient/Always On Display Brightness Configuration"
So we can adjust the brightness of AOD?
yes, under havoc settings
specifically there's an override option so that even if your device is at 90% brightness aod can be locked at whatever brightness you configure, for better battery life
Good job, You will continue updating if any bugs appear, could you add donations in bitcoin cryptocurrencies?

due to the similarities between these roms and their sources it is possible that you could do this without experiencing issues, but I always recommend clean flashing for these situations. you can try dirty flashing, but you might run in to issues
as for official please refer to the note at the top of the thread
tl;dr official unlikely

I will do my best to keep the ROM up to date and fix any bugs I can, but i do not believe that I deserve donations for something I have contributed so little to, and even if I did I do not work with Bitcoin
as for skulshady's donations you will have to ask in the havoc os telegram linked in the thread, I have simply copied his donation information from one of his havoc os threads
Hii any bugs in this rom?
Hi. The gps for me seems to have not working or finding correct coordination. Could you guys recommend any gps fix file or erc?ì
Sound picker does not work. Cant change ringtone. Otherwise no bug or problem.
I wanted to flash this rom as it looks very attractive and customizable. I have a galaxy a7 2017 dual sim on oreo 8.0 with latest security updates available for the device.
I have general idea about adb , twrp, flashing. But have not done personally yet. How risky it is to flash this rom on a scale of 1-10?
What are the bugs that could potentially be a deal breaker. Thanks to anyone who's up for helping. looking forward to flashing if I get proper guidance from any professionals.

Very little risk as you should always be able to reflash the stock firmware through Odin, all you need to do is download the latest official twrp build and flash through either Odin or Heimdall and then flash the ROM through twrp

Just installed twrp recovery but it doesn't mount internal storage..only mounts if format data is done.. but how do i flash if storage is formatted where i put the rom files.
I know this question should be on twrp forum. But i am asking here just to ask if while the internal storage is unmounted and i format data and then use a sd card to flash rom and gapps , will it work ?

You have to format data, then just use a pc to copy the ROM files back over after or copy the ROM files to an external SD card and flash them that way
