Yes there is a working NFC module and it works properly with the Global ROM. I wondering if it works with Indian Rom.

you can only lock the bootloader if you flash the same rom to your device, other roms will brick your phone if you want to lock during the fastboot session, if you dont want to be bricked just click CLEAN ALL when you flash the rom and if you click CLEAN ALL AND LOCK you will brick

Hey there, I too wanted to flash the Indian ROM on my Redmi Note 9. I have a M2003J15SS running MIUI Global 12.0.4 Stable. Have you flashed the ROM yet? I am doing this mainly because I want the call recording feature. 3rd party call recorders do not record properly. So if you have flashed it, does call recording work? Also I am sort of a noob in flashing and stuff. So if you don't mind can you just send me the link to the Indian ROM that worked on your phone. Thanks a lot.

Have you tried cube acr already ? And as peterliyama stated out don't relock the bootloader

Question Is it safe to flash EU ROM on Xiaomi Mi 11? Global??

So the EU ROM thread says you have to be on China Rom.
When I got my Xiaomi Mi 11, it's on MIUI 12.0.3.0 Global ROM.
I would like to know if it is safe or alright to flash EU ROM, even if my phone is the global version.
Edit: I bought this phone from Lazada Philippines. The seller says it is the global version.

China model is M2011K2C
Global model is M2011K2G
Check this before.
Do you mean xiaomi.eu by EU ROM?
If so, you can flash them on both devices after the bootloader unlock.

Flashed EU rom yesterday after unlocked the bootloader without any problem.

Yes. Just use it and try again to unlock after the 168 hours. But have in mind: when you do the unlock the whole phone is wiped! So make sure you have a backup of important stuff first.

Xiaomi EU is debloated, passes Safetynet and Widevine L1 out of box, even if you are rooted. You will have Xiaomi Dialer and contact instead of Google ones. You can have MIUI 12.5 Beta or MIUI 12 Stable.

Hi Azev,
I rooted the xiaomi.eu version but did not pass. I tried 3 times the full process : rom update + root. The 3 times the safetynet failed. What can I do to pass it?

Try with Magisk Hide button on settings
I just want to confirm:
"You can install Xiaomi.EU rom on the chinese model (M2011K2C) if the bootloader is unlocked without any problems"
I am asking again because I recently flashed a Xiaomi.EU rom on my Redmi Note 9 pro, and I had to restore it to stock by flashing it through EDL and had to pay $25 for that.
I don't want the same to happen to my newly bought Mi 11
hi there. i have unlocked, flashed eu. everything went great. i am on eu 12.5. i flashed patched boot for magisk, all went great. but how do i pass saftey net.??? is it because i am on beta rom, i also enabled magisk hide
So I tried the terminal with props. I chose Xiaomi Mii 11 fingerprint and rebooted. Still failed

If you check directly in Magisk - it doesn't work in the moment. Problem that Google changed the API check. Patch is already work in progress. In the meantime you can check with the app "SafetyNet attest" from Playstore. That shows that safetynet is green
Hey so I checked that app. It was green. So I uninstalled magisk APK. Rebooted. Then I installed canary version of magisk. And passes safetynet.

You can, it's the same ROM, at least for xiaomi.eu
The first thing I do when I buy a xiaomi / redmi / poco is to change my rom to xiaomi.eu. I prefer to have the mi phone and mi messages aplication and there are options that the Global rom does not have, such as super wallpapers for example.
Has ther been any issue about going back to Official Global such as Anti-Roll-Back etc.?
Didn't flash for some time and asking myself if it's still a problem...

Once you went back to the official, did you notice performance improvement? I'm on xiaomi.eu and found a couple of issues with apps and also some apps are behaving very slow. I don't remember that in the week or so that I had the stock Rom....
I assume you are already unlock bootloader. Just flash it with miflashtool (found on official website). I already tested. From Global to EU and back to Global Indonesian. #DWYOR
The regular Global is suck, dialer, message and contact using google product.

I have flashed sweetin(pro) ROMs on sweetin_pro(Pro Max) and camera works fine. You flash different ROMs like EU, mimix, EEA, Global and see if your camera problem can be resolved.
For MIUI dialer SMS app, you can flash EU or MiMix ROM.

Just in case, its fix for the CAMERA TINT ON SWEETIN 64MP VARIANT, not screen tint fix.
Also, that fix is included on latest build available at website, it got built and I didn't notice as it was automatic thats why didn't announce. I was talking about arrow, thought this was arrow thread xD, sorry. The module should still work on eu though.

If youre planning to move to the global rom, dirty flashing will not work. You will have to reset the phone.
I suggest downloading the fastboot version of the rom and flashing it.
This will reset your phone and format it as well. But this will prevent any issues in the future which might occur from other methods since it installs everything from scratch.

From the what i know and read, in the track record of xiaomi, they give more importance to global roms, but currently if im not wrong, EU is at a higher version. Not sure if this will stay as the phone is still releasing globally and the global rom updates might start coming later.
I may try the same. Do I need to unlock the bootloader to flash the Global ROM?

Like the other versions just the different store themes and some apps.
To change version you must unlock the bootloader then flash the rom by relocking it or root the phone and use Magisk hide, for a certified play store.
Best time to install a Xiaomi EU rom which has the call recorder and which does not require root.

Since the time that I use Xiaomi, never seen this type of porting.
Xiaomi EU rom have the Miui dialer with phones intended only for the Global or European market so surely possible, unfortunately they are not open sources.
