Wireless Charging Android Auto Compatible Battery Case - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Accessories

Picked up a Newdery battery case for the Note 20 Ultra. It gives full coverage protection and can be charged wirelessly. It also works great with android auto as well. It is screen protector friendly and when you lay on a table it is stable because it lifts up the entire phone. Video HERE for anyone interested.

I like the 6000mah one for $35, it weighs 7oz less, is thinner and gives you more than doubles the phone battery. I could see popping it on to go somewhere and not worry about a low battery.

Gold 4200 battery

I bought a larger capacity battery but with the same dimensions as the original. I would like to know if the capacity stated on the battery is actually 4200 mah. Have any of you guys any experience of these 4200 mah gold coloured battery?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
It isn't.
On most of them you can peel off the label and it'll say its actual capacity underneath it.
I peeled of the gold cover and it was all silver underneath but no text or data. I tried battery monitor widget. No help it reports I have 45 percent left when Android tells me 1 percent left. No battery power left the phone turns on. Then put on recharge and the app tells me 25 percent left but I just put on charge from 1 percent. Definitely feels worse battery life than original.
Is there a larger battery capacity than the original but with same dimensions?

Most likely there isn't..
You can check the N7000 forums, there has been large and thorough research about these "illusive" gold batteries.
I will sum up it to: Gold batteries are most of the time only 60% capasity of OEM batteries. You can check this by using a fysical current meter and compare the currents. Another way to compare is the weight of the batteries
Will try what you suggested.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
I had that battery and tested it using external battery tester. I can't find a thread where I posted about it, but I can tell you it was 2000 mAh, not 4200 mAh. Physically you can't fit a large cell into OEM footprint. Samsung is very good in feeling up maximum capacity per size. So the best you can get with any standard size battery is 3100-3200 mAh. HK brands use unreliable cells and capacity is even lower.
I'm attaching pictures of my setup and final measurement.
Hi Vectron. That looks like the battery I have. I tried it for 1 week. Not great and today switched to original. The original does last longer.

Not sure, maybe the breakthrough lies in the idea.. we might be better off using stuff that recharges the battery during normal use in some kind of way. I'll leave that to the producers to figure out
I don't understand why people buy these cheap @SS batteries
Basically you can purchase a Qcell 6200 for $20 and it lasts 2 days and it's fairly slim - Heck, i'm running a stock battery bumper case that fits 100% perfect

Actually, a few university programs have made recent leaps, however we're probably looking at a few years before seeing them in production.
The new LG Optimus G Pro has a slightly larger battery than the stock Note 2 but only by 40 mah..the LG Pro is the new 5'5 in. Note 2 contender.
Not sure if it fits our Note 2 though ..when I was gonna buy a spare battery I was looking into the LG one but no one sold it.

Anyone known Powercase sleeve?

http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=81057
4800 maH with Stand. I placed an order but yet to pick it up due to low stock. I see other powerful batteries but they add that bulk and this has the stand which I absolutely need
Any opinion
This would add the most bulk to me, it makes the phone another inch longer. Plus that's not really the mah you'll get out of it since it's not replacing the battery just charging already in there.

I really dont trust those kind of battery cases. Ive read some bad reviews on them. Not this exact one but it seems like most are not reliable.

tx for the reply, so this is not really a battery? all it does it charge the one I have i.e, I got sit there waiting for it to charge
I assume it takes over when the internal dies off?
PS Would you recommend the best extended battery? with case/stand, I keep hearing mugen - any other one?
Yes it just charges the internal battery you have. You can turn it off and on when you please not just when its dying although its ideal to use it when your phone is low on power. As for good battery with stand I would recommend either Mugen or Seidio. Amazon seems to have the battery and case with stand for mugen together but with Seidio looks like you have to purchase the battery and case with stand seperate. Both up there in price but very good. Hope this helps.

HTC One M8 Power Jacket Case 3200mAh

First one I've seen. It's a preorder though. Comes with a kickstand which is nice. Personally I don't think I'd have a need for something like this but figured I'd share. Also comes in white.

Looks tempting. I have an Anker 2nd Gen Astro 6000mAh (2A Output) External Battery Pack and an i-Blason case with a kickstand, yet I think I'd love to have this one. Another link for it:

Too bad the output current is just 800 mAh, when the phone can handle 2A.
Looks ok but I'm gonna wait on mophie to make one, have played with a friend's S4 that had a mophie and it was nice. Just hope that mophie adds at least a 1.5 amp charge in to the case and to the phone.

Is Mophie making one for the M8? I hadn't heard anything about it. I know they made a solid one for the M7, though.

you guys do realize most of these battery/ battery case come from china right? just like MUGEN battery. For all you know they are probably from the same factory, make the battery and then just slap on the sticker and you're paying extra for it.
I like this case/battery combo. However, from the pictures it looks like the case offers absolutely no protection for the screen. It would be nice if there was at least a raised lip to keep the screen safe.
Seems like it would be extremely inconvenient to have to remove the case and charge the phone and case separately.
I've never had one of these 'charge' cases before.. Is that the normal operation?

When I had my G2 with a Zerolemon battery case it would charge the phone before the case. The only thing I didn't like a out it was a 1 amp into the case and phone, then when you click the button to charge the phone it was a 1 amp output to the phone. So you really can't use the phone and charge at the same time. like you can when you use a wall charger, other than that it was ok and the bulk didn't bother me at all. I have 3 friends that have Mophie cases ( HTC One m7, galaxy s4 and a iPhone 5) they like the cases, I just hope they make one for the M8 I'd love to buy one.

Just got the case today so far it seems really nice. It does add some bulk and to some might seem as a brick. Coming from Nexus 5 zero lemon this is "thin" for me.
The case looks nice and despite it's plastic feels more premium than I expected. Maybe it has more to do with the weight than the material.
Protection wise I am a little nervous. The edges appear to be protected but the edges are exposed leading me to believe that it's more prone to damage such as cracks and dings. I expect the aluminum on the edges to be dinged up using this case.
Charging wise this thing is nice. It came with with 3 charging lights indicating it was roughly .75% charged. It died after 2 hours however left me with an almost completely charged phone. Mind you I was charging with GPS and screen on. On the zerolemon battery would drain(not charge if I were use GPS and screen on even if battery was charged. The insctructions state that you can charge both phone and battery. The phone would charge phone first and then battery. On the zerolemon it charges both at a a god awful snails pace.
One huge benefit of this case is how easy it is to install, just slides right in. So if your like me and clumsy you can put on the case as needed and use you other case as needed.
Packaging was also nice, It looked similar to how the m8 came in a box except instead of cardboard came in plastic. Will upload pictures and give a more detailed review after I had it for a few days.
All in all after owning it for a few hours I can say I recommend this case

Looks identical.
I had ordered one as well and had issues with it not holding a charge and only charging about 20% with what it did have. Contacted seller for a replacement, which they never requested the original back(wierd), and the replacement had the exact same problem. Returning them and waiting for an official case to come out.
So far have had nothing but positive experience. I am wondering if these are the same product I bought from mobile fun. If have issues I will report. So far is my only complaint is lack of protection. It charges surprisingly fast when charging it says it's charging AC in the battery stats. Fits like a glove and easy to take out and put back in

Zerolemon 3500mah note 5 battery case review

I recieved this product at a discounted price to write an unbiased and honest review.
The package came in a timely matter, it was well packaged and the battery case was safe inside of the packaging.
After receiving the case I charged it until it had a full charge which took approximately 2 hours. (It had 2 lights lit up when I plugged it in) Once fully charged I plugged the battery into my phone then put the case over the phone and battery. It does make the phone a lot heavier and thicker but that is to be expected having an extra battery. I personally like the note 5 battery case a lot, but it does have its defaults. The spen is pretty difficult to eject from the phone, and the thickness of the phone (for those of you who can't deal with it) All in all I am happy with the zerolemon 3500mah note 5 battery case, and would recommend it to anyone willing to add some extra power to there note 5.

Would it be fair to compare it to the Otterbox Defender size-wise? Seems a bit similar.

Protective battery case for note 8

Hello,
I am looking for a recommendation for a protective (mostly from falls) battery case. With my old phone(kyocera brigadier) I didn't have to worry about a case, so I don't know what's good, bad, or recommended. Why a battery case? My cell service is terrible. I would also prefer it to have or to fit in a holster.
Also I haven't really heard/found a clear answer on screen protectors: should I get one and, of so, what one should I get?
Thanks

You check out ZeroLemon yet? Or anyone else? I debating on to buy or not. Trusted brand so might be worth it.
A friend of mine bought the ZeroLemon 10,000mah and he loves it. I believe he said he gets like 4 to 5 days of power with it.

He said he's dropped it a few times and didn't suffer any screen damage if anything the battery case suffered some scuffs & scratches. The only mistake he made was turning the battery case on and thinking it would continue to charge the phone. He didn't know that once the phone reached 100% the battery case stops charging the phone. His phone drained over night and in the morning he couldn't charge the phone or power it up. So he has the Sprint version of the Note 8's that suffers from that battery drain glitch.

I know it isn't the cheapest case out there but I love my Mophie Juice Pack. It looks like the best out of all the battery cases I have seen and Mophie's Customer Service is rock solid. If you are willing to spend a little more for aesthetics, the Mophie is the way to go.
