i've a problem with my new redmi 9. I've set a live wallpaper on my home screen but it will stop working after a few time. I've try to put no restriction for battery optimized and even lock that app to home screen, but it's still force closed for some reason. how to fix this. tq

I buy redmi 9 golbal version with v11.0.4.0....the rom was laggy...then i unlocked bootloader and flash redmi 9 prime rom...v11.0.2.0....it is very good rom with lass blootware...

Well I am on Miui Version 11.0.7.0 ( Global device and MIUI ) and used the live wallpaper it's working perfectly. maybe this problem gone with latest update as I remember the 11.0.4.0 was the outbox version so definitely there will be bugs.

Yep, unified ROM for devices with codename "lime".
Wait so redmi 9t can install rm note 9 rom?
But 9power/9T is having device name limein whereas China Redmi Note 9 4G is lime. I suppose ROMs would be different. Not sure

For now I'm planning to try MIUI 12.5 update [Redmi Note 9 4G/Redmi 9T] by xiaomi.eu which is bloatfree and ad free. Waiting in unlock period

Xiaomi EU is a custom rom based on Miui China version, there's should not be any ads for this rom,
well im currently using xiaomi eu stable version and its pretty good
The first choice is Xiaomi EU. It has a little ad. and most functions with China version.
i cant overclock my redmi 9 power when i overclock from any app it only works for few minute and it gets underclocked does somebody knows the solution????

1. Forcing Min and Max frequencies to the highest isn't overclocking.
2. A kernel needs to add support for overclocked frequencies, like something bigger than 2016MHz for big cores and 1804MHz for little cores will be called as overclocking for us.
3. Frequencies are controlled by governor (it shouldn't change after forcing tho), whether kernel has input boost or not and reboots, after a reboot kernel parameters are set back to default.
4. Do not force frequencies to the max, please let the governor do its job.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro(Indian)(sweetin) has the same specs as the Redmi Note 10 Pro (global) except for the camera which is a 64MP sensor. I want to install to install MIUI EU ROM from the xiaomi.eu website. The model listed in the website has the codename 'sweet' which refers to the global edition with the 108MP. Most blogs and youtube videos with instruction to install the ROM for my model direct me to the official link of the xiaomi.eu webiste which is for the 108MP edition. I did not lock the bootloader after flashing. Now that the Indonesian ROM is working fine on my phone, can I reflash the Indonesian ROM and lock the bootloader (clean all & lock option) ? Hi, past 1 year it is going great. No problems at all absolutly no matter what app it is. Go ahead and install the Indonesian version. I unlocked the bootloader, installed the Indonesian ROM and locked the bootloader back which many were against. It is working fine.Hope it helps

You need to have the boot loaded unlcoked.
Use the Mi Flash Tool and downlaoad the recovery version of the ROM, Install it .
if you get ARB error then you will have to change the details in the Flashall.bat file.
After the flash process is complete at the end you will get a checkpoint fail error, Dont worry, just let the device reboot.
Global device had 104mp camera AFAIK, that might cause an issue with Indian ROM as Indian device has 64mp camera.

Hi, may I ask for what reason are you trying to install an Indian ROM on a global ROM ? What particular feature are you looking to achieve here ?

I flashed my phone Redmi Note 10 Pro with Miui 13 and there's no major problem, as Yepi69 said no difference in visuals or anything. Also it's jittery and a bit laggy compared to MIUI 12.5.

- unlock bootloader
- choose the recovery global rom downloaded by MIUI updater or flash the fastboot rom by flash tool.
Is that correct guys, please as I don't want to brick the phone?

Flashed EEA europe rom fastboot method/rom, clean all (no lock!) from indian rom up to EU rom
Had to edit 'flashall.bat' file removing some lines preventing flash due to rollback error message (see attached pic and remove lines between the blue areas matching my file and save)
Succesful flash after that (final error message is related to not relocking bootloader. Ignore it and phone reboots to MIUI

I flash the fastboot rom with miflashtool just to remember not to chose clean and lock instead chose clean all and you should be fine

Indian version might doesn't have nfc chip. It's widely known most Xiaomi devices released in there lacks of nfc.
Will the Redmi Note 12 Pro or Pro+ get Android 13, it's strange Note 10 already got updated to 13 but new phone didn't?
