Boot the phone into bootloader (hold vol+ when powering on) then run the bat file next to fastboot.exe.

There are 3 files in the archive:
- flash_root_ab.bat
- magisk_patched_a.img
- magisk_patched_b.img
1. Download this archive.
2. Download Android SDK Platform-Tools package.
3. transfer 3 files from this archive to the folder that you got when unpacking the Android SDK Platform-Tools package.
4. put your smartphone in bootloader mode
5. Run flash_root_ab.bat

Flashing radio adb

Can anyone point me to a thread on how to flash a 5.1 radio on my AT&T variant please? I've got the correct file but don't want to hose my phone up guessing. My ADB works just fine, I'm just not sure how to flash the radio / firmware in it.
My issue is I'm on a 5.1 rom and my LTE signal sucks. Don't get it much anymore. I'm assuming that's my problem.
Thanks!

Flashing is done through fastboot, not ADB.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2969380
Thanks, but I don't have an .img file. I have a .zip that has to be done while in fastboot mode with adb. Hopefully that thread will get me through.

Ummm I'm no expert by any means but I've never heard of flashing in fastboot mode with ADB. ???
Here's a link to the ROM I'm using:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/rom-meanpop-v0-1-feb-22-5-0-1-t3037579
It actually says .bat file. But comes as a .zip. Maybe I should bug them in the ROM thread. lol

AFAIK, You can only flash radio images via fastboot.
If you have a zip, extract it until you get to the radio.img. then fastboot flash that.

There are TWRP flashable zip files available.

Thanks! I finally figured out the .bat file could be run in a command prompt window and that called the fastboot commands. Thanks for the help!

Er yes.... .bat files are batch files containing commands that when you click it, run in command prompt
I blame not using Fastboot or ADB much. That along with the fear of a brick. Once I just opened up the .bat file and saw how little it did then it made sense.

Installing OTA on rooted XT1064

My wife's XT1064 has on OTA (22.46.12.en.US) available which is a Stagefright fix. It has downloaded but when it tries to apply the OTA it boots into TWRP and I have no frigging clue where the downloaded file is or if it can be applied through TWRP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am unfamiliar with the Moto G's ins and outs.
Thanks.
You must have stock recovery and full unroot for apply the update

Well I did pretty good with my Galaxy S, Nitro HD, OGP, and haven't borked my Zenfone 2 yet. I successfully unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone but I know to take it slow and double-check everything before I click it. As long as I have instructions I am good.

no as its recovery for xt1064 - if you replace the recovery with a xt1063 that would work
Would I lose my data stored in the internal memory if I unroot my moto g 2014?
BTW: I am rooted using the the stock firmware.
EDIT: Do I have to re-lock the boot-loader in other to successfully install last update?
Thanks man!
