I got a chinese rom redmi 10x 5g, but all apps that require google map are showing "google play services are updating", i can't order food, i can't grab a taxi, but google map is working perfectly fine... i would like to ask if there is a way to solve this problem. chinese mi official customer service says i'd better flash in a global rom, but there isn't a global rom available for 10x 5g...

I had similar problems getting WhatsApp working (problem with google play services) I deleted all google apps / services and downloaded google installer from Xiaomi app store re-installed all the google related apps and services then all was OK. got a guide from https://www.yomiprof.net/2020/05/installing-google-play-store-xiaomi-phones.html

Hi, i got a Moto X Pro, essentially a Nexus 6 from China but it comes without Google Play store and else.
I tried to install both Google play Store APK and Google Play services APK , the framework and loggin, i log in my google account but when i try to open App store i get the "google services stopped" error. Restart the phone and no luck. Please help my out!. Thanks!

Are you still in China? My work has a plan there and I know in parts of China Google does not work due to the government blocks it. I know this because when we have to go over to support the factory we can not use google there.

i have that phone on my hands after a brick, i recently restored to factory default firmware due to a bad Update that happened after he rooted and tried to update... (i think it doesnt have any security measures for the updates :/)

I have tried everything including root techniques, installing google apk via third party to make google services work but the google play services not working pop up annoys me constantly. How does one make the moto x pro work ? I have bought this phone now I need to be able to use google play store on it.

I'm getting DF-DFERH-01 error when trying to launch Google Play Store on my P20 Pro. Got the phone from Chinese operator (China Unicom) and using VPN.
Play Store works well from the PrivateSpace of the same phone (But not from the MainSpace). Play Store also works well on another P20 MainSpace, purchased in China. I've tried all the methods proposed online (Delete cache, delete Google account, restart, factory reset...). Nothing works. Thanks for your help!
Hi, I just get the huawei p20 pro in China and I have the same issue. I use vpn to pass by restriction and I already follow every tutorials from youtube. I'm still looking for a solution and I will be more than happy if someone can help me.

is your playstore status "certified" or "uncertified" ?
also, how do you install your playstore and play services ? i dont think CLT-L00 got play store in it to begin with.

I managed to make it work! I did a phone cloning (using "Phone Clone" app) of the System and Play store apk from the P20 on which Play store was working. Still don't understand why I couldn't make it work by installing Playstore from scratch on P20pro...
So, find someone who has a P20 or P20pro (or maybe any other Huawei phone), on which it works and clone the system and Play Store.

Play Store is available from Huawei's AppGallery. Or you can download the apk from any other site.
I have the same problem on both an Honor Note 8 and a Huawei Mate 8 that won't get into the play store. I get nothing but DF-DFERH-01.
It seems to be a problem with oreo or newer. I reverted the Note 8 to nougat and it works.
Has anyone gotten play store to work on a Huawei/Honor running Oreo? If so then how? I don't understand what phone clone would be. I tried copying gms and playstore apks from my working nougat to my non-working oreo and no go. Same error, identical in every way. Tried clearing cache, several versions, gmsinstaller and so on...

The playstore works but for some reason I can't sync my contacts
And I cannot continue to install the other google apps after the play services.
Any idea?

You need Google contact sync for syncing contacts. You can't change Google services as they are already integrated.
Also, you won't have location services (history, sharing) in Chinese rom.

I have a very annoying problem and I would really appreciate it if someone more experienced could help me with some advice:
I have a MI CC9/9Lite that I updated to MIUI 12 20.8.20 Beta, China ROM (I absolutely despise the EU Rom, so please don't tell me to just flash that).
I did not manage to install the Google apps through the "Google Installer" app from Get Apps (first time after install crashes, then freezes at 3% every time) so I installed each component separately (Google Services Framework, Google Play Services and from here everything else).
Everything works perfect, except it doesn't
I get an error on every app that loads a map telling me that "Google Play Services are updating". I have tried many and I mean many versions of the Google Play Services from APK Mirror, APK Pure, even the one from Get Apps. I have granted absolutely all permissions required to all Google apps. I have chose carefully the corect architecture.
The dirty message "Google Play Services are updating" still appears and none of the maps load. This applies also to Mi Fit, wich I installed from Get Apps (why does a native chinese app need Google software to run???) and other maps that are not based on G Maps technology.
The last few days have been crazy. My girlfriend will not speak to me because I only play with the phone.

just got it... Chinese version of course with lot of Chinese apps but I am unable to find the Google Play in the Xioami Store and my unit is with 12.0.10.0.
I added it to my top Mate40Pro and Samsung S21 Ultra.
Question are:
-) how to get the latest Xioami release (also be enrolled to the beta)
-) how to install the Google Play services.

download google play apk from the internet and sideload it. then you are good to go. i would recommend you download icebox and just freeze the unwanted apps.
Also, ask for unlock, wait for 7 days and flash global rom, you are all set then.

I quick one, I believe the CN version comes without a charger, but seems like the international comes with a charger out of the box. Is that correct to your knowledge?
