thank you, were the same version actually.
I have adb xiaomi bloatware tool to remove some bloatware apps on my phone. The thing is, i dont know the apps running in the background that we dont need. and of course we dont want our phone to be bricked.
What i have done uninstall from my device are:
all miui apps including the icloud.
msa
fmradio
netflixpartnership
some google apps like what you have mentioned.
is there any apps running in the background that we dont need from redmi 9 global version?
thanks you

Well, You need to be careful with this ( You know because of MTK ). Anyway I don't think there is apps from xiaomi eating Ram ( Background ) only the
-Security App ( Take around 300 Mbs from Ram )
- Find device ( around 15 mb )
- Sim tolkit ( around 55 mb )
And I don't know if it's safe to remove because I didn't try it before.
Good luck best wishes for you :good:

thanks you sir.
Some user have only 3gb ram like me. Upon checking my ram usage it consumes 1.8gb ram to 2gb.
i am hoping someone can give us the list of bloatware apps in background process that we dont need for redmi 9.

Make the Mi 9 Googlefree

Hello,
is it possible to make the Mi 9 complete google free? I dont need the playstore and not the playservices. Its possible to delete these things from the european Rom, or should i install the chinese rom?
I would like to use MicroG instead of the real google services.
Put the chinese rom in it...
You can flash a GSI like flokorom without flashing the G-apps
I hoped to stay by the original Rom, because the camera App and the quality.

You could try debloating it (removing google apps as well - via adb/root). I wouldn't install the chinease rom, except you are really into it
On the flipside you could install the chinease rom and try debloating that one. The choice is yours
yea i will try, but i read somewhere than you cant deinstall all google services like especially playservices. but i will try and report. unfortunately i still have to wait on xiaomi till i can unlook the bootloader

Question Decition about CN rom

Hi.
I already bought the chinese 12gb-512gb version of the phone in Wondamobile.
I have now many doubts about the Chinese rom or apps as i have never used a Chinese rom.
I email wondamobile and google pay works and google services are installed.
Return the phone will be around 100$. It didn't arrive yet.
Does it have many changes or things in Chinese even if you put English?
I don't have much time to install different roms, uninstall apps or play with the settings.
What do you recommend?
I had the same variant in use with CN ROM for some time before I switched to Xiaomi.EU-ROM.
The CN ROM is OK, everything is in English so day-to-day usage is unhindered. This included GPay and full google support. Some apps like Youtube Vanced would not install without disabling MIUI Extensions, but this is an easy thing to do and set it back afterwards.
Oh, and updates are pretty regular (much faster than with the EEA/Global variants)....
So overall I would say: don't fear going with CN ROM !
Now you may ask: and why did you then change to Xiaomi.EU-ROM ? Well, its a bit more polished and adapted to western languages, also it contains a number of tweaks that make it superior for me and my usage of the phone.....

I haven't changed any rom in a phone in a very long time. Is it dificult?
I read the updates have to be done manually in the EU ROM but the whole phone or just checking yourself every now and then?
I am using the Chinese Rom since the day I got the phone (April 12), and I am more than happy with it.
Didn't need to lock the bootloader, or flash anything.
One of the best thing I don't get the annoying ADS like the other Roms. Updates are quick and no overheating or such.
Yes on other ROMS it will be Manual
It is my Daily Drive and I love it
Use the Chinese Rom for a little bit and If you find that Global or EU ROM is a must for you, then you have lots of members here who will help you install it.
GOOD LUCK
Pop over to the Xiaomi EU forum for latest ROMs and instructions, https://xiaomi.eu/community/forums/xiaomi-mi-11-pro-ultra-lite.211/
But a fair few post in both forums, so as posted above, there is lots of help, just ask, don't sit wondering or worrying.

Thank you very much for the help.
I think in my case as I'm not expert in any case will be to keep the Chinese to avoid "brick" the phone or mess around with the updates from EU ROM.
I was just worry i will be in a mess with the Chinese ROM. But if it's easy-ok to use in English it's fine.
Any list of bloatware or trick i have to do in the Chinese ROM as a must do?

anyone that has it installed or tried them both can you share your experience
i am abit concerned about the root on MiuiMixand the banking app but i heard from someone that you can hide it with magisk

What you said is correct.
I am using latest MiMix build for Note 10 Pro Max and it is absolutely smooth and stable. You can use banking apps without any issues by hiding magisk and banking apps.
Not sure about gaming since I don't play games.
Cheers!

can you check which system apps were removed , how many percent battery drain do you have over night , and screen on time on full charge
themes should not work on caller and messaging app correct ?

Seriously? Do I need to remember or check which systems apps were removed? I don't care.
Battery drain overnight is 1% or even 0% sometimes when wifi and mobile data is off.
Did not check screenon time.
Themes seemed to work on Caller Screen. Not sure about Messaging app, but it depends on Themes you applied.
If you want to flash, then do it and check yourself in detail. Otherwise, leave it.
Cheers!
cheers i will go with the xiaomi.eu , sounds ridiculous to steal their work with just putting root and deleting an app or two and call it a different name , thanks for the reply

It's not the same. Xiaomi.EU is just MIUI ROM with removed bloatware and latest features added from chinese version of the ROM.
OneOS and MiuiMix take this Xiaomi.EU rom and tweak it a little further by adding some of the other custom rom features and some apps that you most likely will use since you unlocked your phone (Magisk, Substatum...)
OneOS and MiuiMix are basicaly tunned up versions of XiaomiEU

Question MI 11 ULTRA CN NOTIFICATIONS

I just got my hands on the mi 11 ultra, few days back I made the switch from oneplus 7 Pro.
my major concern right now is notifications from Instagram, Whatsapp & messenger.
So far I have tried, Battery restrictions, auto start, lock app from recent taps & active notification (from developer options)
however I am still unable to get instant notifications on idle screen. sometimes the notifications are delayed by few minutes or they wait for my attention (till i unlock the phone or open the particular app)
since I run an ecommerce business these notifications are crucial for me.
Kindly if anyone has been successful do share what worked for you?

Unlock your bootloader and flash global rom. Best rom for 11 ultra.
I switch between china stable, eu, and now global. No bug and great performance
Global Rom is super performing as well as chinese especially if you play with root. Obviously chinese rom is kore advanced as it works under different regulations and also more updated

Unfortunately, I have never rooted or changed ROMs on any of my android phone. hence unfamiliar with the procedure to do so. Just based of my research I think to use another ROM unlocking the Bootloader & rooting is required & by doing so, I will loss out on a lot of local (middle east-KSA) apps which are of essential use to me.

Whatever you do you want get perfectly timely notification in china rom. Just switched to global rom that's only option.
Did you try to give full permission to Google play services and Google services framework? Also allow autostart to it. Check if by doing so whatsapp start working as intended. Afaik whatsapp relies on Google play services to function properly. On Global rom Google play services is a system app on china is a user app, the problem is that

Question should I switch from global to eu ROM ?

hello guys
i just bought the redmi note 10 pro and it's working just fine, but my friend told me that the EU ROM is much better and it has more features on it.
which one is better global or EU ROM?
I use the xiaomi.eu rom. It does have more features and is less bloated.

This. What they do basically is take chinese ROMs and remove all the useless bloatware, the ads in the system apps and keep the extra features ; there's a permanent AOD, native super wallpapers and more

But this is with root right? I use a lot of finance and trading on my phone, how secure and safe are those roms?
Now i have stock EEA firmware, they go by GDPR and EU rules. No ads and you will need to accept a prompt on every instance where they would collect data. I like this only problems EEA gets updates a bit slower.

Actually root is not required. Only requirement is unlocked bootloader. On android devices only trusted apps should be granted root then most of your financial/trading apps will be safe. Because other user apps won't be able to access financial app's data which haven't been granted root permission.
