Fire kernel

Is this for stock rom? (One UI rom)
Edit: my bad, I didn't see it was for stock

Read it again & ask it again & read it again & ask it again & repeat it again?

Good, good performance

Wich Rom does this kernel work with?

Is it possible to flash it without TWRP? :/

Yes. You can flash it via ExKernelManager but your phone must be rooted.

Do we or you need to read it again?

You need to read it again. It's not saying that it works on stock rom neither custom roms. I flashed it on a custom rom and got bootloop for an example.

Why install this kernel on old custom rom of a70q? Are you drunk enough to not understand that this custom kernel is based on android 10 kernel? Then flash it on old custom rom? How? Why? Lmao? Try to read it again & see when is the kernel security patch was & what base it is? Why would I support old custom rom to this kernel?

No clue lol maybe you're drunk or something

Since you are here, I hope you already know that flashing custom ROMs (including unlocking the bootloader)
will VOID YOUR WARRANTY and is a chance to BRICK your device if you're inexperienced.

Known Bugs:
ROM/device Issues
- Live Display optimization slows down graphics performance. Turn it off in Settings->Display. Use Gamma/kcal control if you need to calibrate screen colors.
Recovery Issues
- Common CM recovery issues
Kernel Issues
- f2fs-formatted /data and /cache can sometimes cause a small delay before boot animation, but this doesn't negatively affect ROM performance after a boot has been completed.
Other (RR/CM/misc)
- Users sometimes get a black screen followed by a UI restart and return to lock screen. This is apparently present in all CM-based ROMs and currently nothing much can be done about it.
- Logcat is currently not working due to Logd hanging ROM boot because of sepolicy denials. Fixing this is work in progress.
- Minor app issues (not ROM/device related)
- Common RR / LP 5.1.x / CM 12.1 issues
Kernel:
Since build 20150424 the kernel used with this ROM is based on a mix of KMA and EvoMix kernels, updated with my own work with the unselfish help and time devoted into this by @BrateloSlava.
Sources to that are here.
Until then the kernel used was EvoMix, whose sources can be found here.
Special thanks to:
Code:
[B]Alex, Oli & Joe[/B] (Team VALIDUS, AOSPAL, OmniROM, TeamEOS,
Tesla Project) for kindly providing and improving the source code for
the kernel and device trees.

Yea, but it wouldn't exist tho without your help and previous work on this :highfive:

Just downloading and flashing... can't wait to see the results!
One thing I'm curious about, where did the use of a circular button with an X in it instead of the three staggered lines for close all in recents originate?
I'm seeing that in more and more ROMs, in terms of size it looks about right on my 10.1" tablet but strikes me as a little large on a phone. It would be nice to be able to theme it back to the three lines.
@Nameless One simply install a CM12 theme that changes the icon.

It seems to have originated here: https://android.googlesource.com/platform/frameworks/base/+/2915b9d as a part of the Lollipop framework.
I think @golfgtiedition30 's solution is the only way to change it at the moment.

Just search "CM12 Theme transparent" on Play Store.. few themes will pop up.. but beware as the new CM theming system is in early stages of development and bugs and unexpected things can happen, bootloops being the worst.
Thanks
U mean we can change system setting theme room?

Didn't quite get you (I'm not a themer to be able to prepare UIs) but if you mean getting Sony Xperia stock look and feel on this ROM, try searching "xperia cm12" on the same store
There are a few paid but also some free themes.. try as you wish..

Why simple kernel?
- The simple kernel is a highly optimized aftermarket kernel for the Xiaomi Snapdragon 845 series of devices. This includes the Mi 8, Mi Mix 2s, and Poco F1.
- Also, the kernel receives at minimum monthly updates, sometimes even weekly, and is thoroughly tested by myself and a select group of individuals who also contribute to the project.
Features :
- Based on latest android 10 caf tag
- Google common for Q merged
- F2fs stable merged
- Rapid GC for f2fs
- PELT (per entity load tracking) backported from Android-Mainline
- RCU (read copy update) backported from Android-Mainline
- Vnswap and Zswap
- Highly optimized memory allocation
- Boeffla wakelock blocker
- Highly optimized deep sleep and idle drain (usually 0% overnight)
- Sound control
- Latest drivers and update source from mi-opensource
- Compiled with Clang 10.0.0 and LLVM polyhedral loop optimization
How to install and compatability:
- This kernel only supports android Q aosp roms
- Flash zip in a recovery of your choice (twrp is recommended)
- Flash magisk (optional)
- Reboot and experience the simplicity

Same thing happened to mine as well. Warmed up, few hours later and ever since it's been smooth. It never heated to a point of concern, but yes, I too wondered why...

But we do let the kernel go through a bunch of testing by the members of our Testers' group, so the chances of major bugs existing in the release builds is comparitively low. However if you do end up facing bugs, please do report it through our support group or messaging me on Telegram[Yasirsiddiqui]. As the name shows, this kernel was started as a parody for some existing kernel as most of their has something from pro, plus, etc.
I started this kernel from my older days of sanders (Moto G5S Plus) device, continuing it for RMX2170 (Realme 7 Pro) device. The kernel for RMX2170 and RMX2061 is based on sagarmakhar's AEX kernel source with additional features. For now only minimal features exist, more will be added in sometime of future .
Some of the features are listed below,• Basic linux kernel

The code for double tap to wake has been changed in kernel source hence the roms that has been using older dt2w code won't be compatible for dt2w. Try newer A12 roms for dt2w.
Hi, The kernel is superb and fantastic but I encountered a bug. Based on my experience, It is not supporting Superdart charging it is like limiting the current entering the phone. Hoping to fix the issue Thank you
