My Name Is Amit and I'm from Portugal. On January I bought a Huawei P9. The problem is that the phone is not updating the software. Already contacted the operator but there was not any positive feedback. After some search on Google I've found that the problem is the compilation number and to fix that I've to root my phone and make some changes on bootloader. As I don't have any experience on this, can anyone help me out with detailed information so I can fix this issue and update my OS to the recent EMUI and Android version.

You said you googled your phone but then you should've found the XDA forum for P10 Plus.
This board here ist for P10 VTR - So why aren't you posting your issue here and stop triple posting in a forum where the people are using other phones?

Follwoing a previous thread I contacted Huawei regarding the bootloader code that is apprently needed to unlock the phone. They no longer provide them.
Can anyone confirm it's still possible to root those phone models?
I can't do anything with it, I'm running out of space and can't install anything else any longer.
I'd be thankful if someone could help in this matter and provide instructions or links.
