3Minit Battery and 3Minit Clock - Google Pixel 5 Themes, Apps, and Mods

I've patched a way so that additional 3Minit batteries can be can be installed on Stock Android 11 and 12.
These mods can be found here:
https://github.com/gharrington/3Minit_Battery_Mod
and here:
https://github.com/gharrington/3Minit_Clock_Mod
Explanation as well as a guide for the 3Minit Clock mod is here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/3minit-clock-mod-v1-0-t3400221
All the batteries were made by the author's listed below.
You do not need to flash the minitbatteryresources.apk separately since it is included in the 3Minit zip. The 3MinitBatterySettings.apk and MinitClock.apk are also included where applicable.
Flash in Magisk manager
These are SystemUI mods and might not be compatible with any other SystemUI Mods you may have installed.

If the default battery or offline batteries are good enough for you, this is as far as you need to go.
I've included a Battery changer zip down below (3minitbatterychanger.zip). Copy the battery pngs files you want from the authors below. Unzip the battery changer zip. Navigate to vrthemeb/data/app/base.apk/res/drawable-xxhdpi-v4 folder and replace the battery pngs that are there. Zip back up and flash.

this one works, THANKS A LOT

Hi! Can confirm the "3minit.zip" works on Pixel 5. To use the Battery changer, it seems I had to disable to Module in the Magisk, flash the Batterychanger.zip and then reenable the 3minit.
"3MinitRC.zip" causes some sort of SystemUI crash (System freezes a long time on the "G" logo with the loading bar below it, then blank screen - was able to access power menu and enter safe mode)
All I want is my clean setup that I finally achieved with Android 8

I can get you close but I don't have a battery (neither does 3Minit) that changes color according to how white/dark the background is.

Thank you so much for your brilliant work on this! I was doing a lot of research on these two issues, because the battery and the clock being moved to the left... very annoying.
Your solution is the only one that works! =D
Confirmed all zips working with no boot loops. Thank you =)

I have finished up the battery changer zip to how I would like it. I put multiply folders into the res/drawable-xxhdpi-v4 folder (or 0, 1, 2, 3....10) each folder contains png files of different batteries to change on the fly when needed.
Have I done this correctly or should it just be one folder and I replace it y that folder when I want to change the battery icon again?
Also do I flash the battery changer zip in Magsik?
Thanks for all you help

Need Help Editing SystemUI

Hello Guys,
I decided to try and modify the SystemUI of Stock OxygenOs 4.0.3 myself in order to achieve: Center Clock in Status bar as well as quick settings menu, 6 small qs tiles, 6 qs tiles in a row and only one row at that.
I already got familiar with apktool and the process but I have no Idea what file to edit, I searched through the files but could achieve any change.
I didn't find any tutorials that could help me either so I was hoping someone could help me here.
Thanks and if you need any more information just ask
Basically I want it to look something like this (Resurrection Remix)
The location is here system/priv-app/OPSystemUI
For tutorials, you can try to look around in Op3/Op3T mods sections - the dark theme/notifications have some.

Download the modded and stock Systemui.apk and decompile. Compare the result. You will learn everything only that way. The clock position is defined in status_bar.xml.

If you're using a Windows computer, you can use a program called Winmerge to compare entire decompiled OPSystemUI folders (And all their sub-folders/files) and highlight differences in text files (including xml) between the two. If you find someone who has already posted a similar mod, you can compare that with the stock file to determine what they have changed. From there, it should be fairly intuitive.

Thank you, I actually thought about that but I didn't know a program capable of that, I'll try that
Update: I played around a bit and those Tips were somewhat helpful but I didn't manage to get the clock in the Center .
Most of the time there where no problems applying the new System ui but a few times it just refused to start sytemzui and I was Straight in the Launcher without a Statusbar and so on. After restoring the original apk to get it to work it Booted just to a Blackscreen where I could only open the power Menü and I had to wipe data to get in again. Amy idea why?
Also After restoring a backup of data cpu was always at Max

You probably forgot to include the AndroidManifest and META-INF files in the APK. Read up on this guide. It's quite old, but steps 1, 2, 3, and 15 in his guide are still applicable. Pay special attention to step 15 as it shows you how to sign the modded APK with the original signature. Without including these files, OOS will refuse to run the app. Any time he mentions SystemUI.apk, assume that you can do the same with OPSystemUI.apk.
---------- Post added at 12:34 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:31 AM ----------
For some reason, OOS 4.0.3 and below will sometimes allow improperly compiled OPSystemUI to run. It seems that as of OOS 4.1.0, you must correctly compile the app or it will always refuse to run it at boot.

All the batteries were made by the author's listed below.
You no longer have to flash the minitbatteryresources.apk separately since it is included in the 3Minit zip. The 3MinitBatterySettings.apk and MinitClock.apk are also included where applicable.
If you are using active edge, delete the Active Edge module first.

Hey brother I got around to trying this and everytime I do it says permissions denied in adb? There is no option to provide adb shell or root permission that comes up?

Sir, I just uploaded a new zip to download. The other one was a Sept upload.
First, you need to install 3Minit by flashing the Installminitbatteryresourcesapkand3Minitpixel3a.zip in magisk manager (this zip is inside the new ADB zip you are downloading). Once you have rebooted, you should have 3Minit and the stock 3Minit battery.
The ADB installer is for changing battery type from default to whatever you choose from the author of your choice. Once you have chosen your battery and run the complete installation bat, it creates a Magisk manager flashable zip on your sdcard in a folder called ozop....myminitbattery.zip (It probably should say "creation" instead of "installation" since it doesn't actually install anything. Just creates a module).
Once that is flashed you should see the battery of your choice.
I know this is all very convoluted. Once you get 3Minit up and running and if you have a difficult time getting the battery of your choice, let me know and I'll make it for you.

Accent Color Mod

If you don't care for Android 12 stock colors, you can change the pastel QS Pulldown Tile colors to more basic colors.
I've added two options. After flashing these, you have all color options to pick from in settings/Display/Device Theme.
To change the color of the QS tiles you go to settings/display/device theme and select the color you want. The "OFF" color tiles remain gray. You have an option to change settings/notification/volume bar backgrounds to black. Those options are at the top and end in "black theme".
There are two options because the first one has a systemui mod to change some text to black that otherwise is gray. Example, Bluetooth. The "On" or "off" would have been gray.
The second option leaves it gray and can be flashed with anything. The first one has a systemui mod and is more firmware specific.
The SystemUI mod and might not be compatible with any other SystemUI Mods you may have installed.

@Tulsadiver - Safe to use the CC and Colour Accent Mods for the Pixel 5 with the November update?

Probably but unknown. I've had reports from other pixel users that failed to remove the modules before updating and it worked fine. The SystemUI has changed but by very little. I'll be updating when I can.
Edit: the Pixel 5 systemui and framework appears to be the same so it should be okay.

Many thanks for the confirmation. Flashed November R11 update and CC still works but Colour Accents does not. I tried to uninstall and re-flash the mod, but no joy. I am using the Neon Accent with Black Icons.

Yes, of course. I don't seem to have as many options as I did on the Oct. Update.

Kind of weird it works for one but not all. I uploaded a november update that replaces some of the other colors. Maybe some are different.

Can we flash more than one of these at a time? Or just one at a time?

They overwrite one another. The supposedly November update ones are different. There were different colors along with the old colors. You can flash November and October as I'm not sure which colors you have.

Well I just flashed one cause I wasn't sure. Which is fine. But when I dirty flashed November over October, I was still good with Red accent color. Apparently I was the only one.
Hi OP @Tulsadiver - any idea if these would work for the Dec update ? - or should I remove the mod before upgrading?
Okay, something weird happening - I upgraded anyway to Dec but now I can no longer see the battery percentage (OS feature). I have tried to toggle the setting on and off but it makes no difference. The Neon Colour is still working but I have a feeling it might need a tweak?
A lot of tulsadiver mods are no longer working on december update... Hope he could fix soon
