anyone got an update for one ui 2.5 att? - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Questions & Answers

As the title suggests, I haven't been able to find anything just tmoble

From what i understood while helping a few snapdragon users, AT&T firmware handling is done through them and not Samsung. Considering how snapdragon is a month or two slower on releases to Exynos, with AT&T you seem to get another layer of delay.
Nevertheless, you can always flash the Unlocked (SM-N960U1 XAA) firmware to it, but i would assume you'd lose a few AT&T features specific to their CSC.

Have been looking for any US based version of the update and still nothing yet. Hope we see something soon. I will be honest I want wireless DeX.

Weirdly, AT&T got 2.5 yesterday, before the unlocked one.

No SM-N9600 has got One UI 2.5 yet. The latest one is TGY (Hong Kong) ETJ5, but that's still One UI 2.1. We still have to wait for a FXXX firmware.

I'm on Spectrum and this is the latest in the month I've gone without an update. Im guessing there was a bug in first build, maybe thats why the release of the 2nd and the delay?

Have just used Odin to install the Sprint firmware on my Xfinity Mobile phone, install went smooth as silk, even Good Lock wasn't knocked out.

AT&T hasn't yet rolled out the OTA, but if you flash without the USERDATA_Tmb , all you do after that do a factory reset and all AT&T features, apps , wifi calling, HD voice , LTE all that will be on your Note 9 with no issues, i do it all the time.

@Venom0642, with the S9+, I had to flash the unlocked U1 firmware on my AT&T branded phone, and THEN flash the T-Mobile firmware, to get the changes to stick. Same process here?
If so, any links for the US unlocked firmware?

Mid SEPTEMBER, not sure why I typed December. And no, I got a significant discount to order through Samsung. Annoying, but makes it 100% worth it.

If you purchased from T-Mobile US:
See if the in-store agents can help you cancel the order.
If they cannot help you with that, call customer care (611) to see if they will cancel the order.
The following says you can also just refuse delivery:
https://www.t-mobile.com/templates/popup.aspx?passet=ftr_ftr_returnpolicy
However, that's kinda hard to do with UPS,my experience with them is they simply drop off the package, regardless of shipping method/instructions,without so much as a signature.
Bring this point up to the Customer Care team & stress the reason (prolonged delay/pre-order period,I'm assuming),hopefully they'll be able to stop the order before it goes out.

Help with Firmware

So I bought an N960U and I absolutely love it but it's never gotten an update since I bought it in September so I'm curious as to why it hasn't, what firmware I am, what can I update to and will I lose Samsung pay at all?
I've attached some photos of the software version and such.

Your device is running a version of firmware that was never official for Sprint. That's why you're not getting any updates. Grab SamFirm and download the latest real build. It will be ARJ9 right now.

No, we need to wait for the U1 update to be released witch has typically been the last to be released. I believe these are the U versions being referred to here. Also everything new on Sammobile is the U so far. It shouldn't much longer for us.

I ended up using the firmware.science to update to pie. That bumped me up to December update automatically on pie. I also get to keep the Unlocked firmware without any bloatware and the rom is rocksolid stable.

After reading from users how the pie update takes away functionality and is full of bugs, I'm fine with them delaying the rollout.

Just for reference, the Note 8 on T-Mobile didn't get a stable build until May '18 (April '18 version got pulled, buggy).
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-36189
Since the Pie update isn't even on T-Mo's radar yet,I'm guessing we're looking at an equally long wait:
