Are you not using the OnePlus charger? It is usb c on both ends but these cables are usb c on one end and usb a on the other?

I don't want to use the op charger because I don't want to use warp charge. I'd like to keep my battery as cool as possible for longevity

Pogo charger/case conflicts?

I've searched about a bit and found no info on whether or not the Pogo charger will work with specific cases. Specifically for me, I just received a Poetic Revolution case and took note of the relatively small opening around the Pogo port. If anyone has both a Revolution case and a Pogo charger, would you mind telling us whether these accessories work together nicely? Also, information about the compatibility of other cases with the Pogo charger may be helpful to others looking to buy one thing or another.
POGO cable + Poetic hardback is a winner for me! The cut out for the connector is perfect.

I have the moko keyboard case, and am using it now. I have not received my Pogo charger yet. The cutout for the connector is only in the material that holds the tablet inside the case. There is no cutout for the Pogo cable in the backbone or spine of the case. The case is minimal in size. While I do not believe that making a cutout would be hard, I believe the Pogo connector will get in the way of how the tablet is propped up.

I have.
I suppose it depends on the case though.
Yes. Works fine with the diztronic tpu, and ringke slim. Sometimes depends on how good the charger is though...
Yeah, mine works fine with a Spigen Neo Hybrid and the Tylt Vu charger.
Depends on the case and charger design, as in how thick the coating plastic is on the charging pad, and how thick the case is.
I have this VENA Ultra Slim Fit case (much like the Griffin case I had on my Moto X 2013) and have had no problem charging with the Anker slim Qi charger. I love both of them, they're great. I'm actually thinking about making my own nano suction car dock with it.
THanks for the replies guys. Has anyone tried with a Ringke slim?

Was already mentioned that they had earlier in the thread, but also so have I
Yes I did, because I answered that exact question above...
Which qi pad are y'all using?
No problems here with Spigen Slim Armor and Itian A6 (at work) and "TechMatte Qi-Enabled Charging Pad" (at home), both of them works great!

Tylt Vu now but also have a Nokia DT-901
Had the nexus charger that works great with the n5 but it's crap with the nexus 6. Now have the tylt vu which works great with the casemate case on the play store
I have a moco case, thick rugged case 2 piece with a kickstand. and a nokia DT-900 charger. Works great. Charger was bought for my n4 long time ago and didn't work with it. Tossed it in a drawer as I haven't had an induction phone since then. Must have been the n4 because I was pleasently surprised to see how well it works with the N6. Has to b on it pretty much just right, but i hit it easily. Kind of a pain when it hits 100% for a bit. Turns off charging, drops to 99% as soon as it shuts off and toggles on and off a bit till it gets a good enough charge to hang at a full charge. Notification alerts each time it stops and starts charging.

Pocket Qi Charger?

I have a thin Spigen case on my Nexus and was wondering if any of you would know if a portable Qi charger would work if I put it in my pocket with my phone? Do any of you have any recommendations for batteries?
qi stone+. if you look in the accessory sub forum you will find many posts on this.
i use the qi stone in a front pocket on a phone case. i slip the phone in the case and the outer pouch has the stone in it and it charges as if it wa a charging sleeve. works well when i need it to.
but the qi stone+ is good on its own. you can power it and it has a usb port to power other gear.

Cases That Work With QI Wireless

as the thread basically says it all, I'm looking for a case that will work with QI wireless charging for the G4. i like the spigen stuff but it doesn't appear to work...
I have been using the newisdom upgraded chip and tylt vu charger combo and havent had any problems charging with the spigen neo-hybrid, verus thor and urban armor gear cases.
The Spigen Air Cushion Slim Armor case works with the NeWisdom upgraded Qi chip without any issues with my CHOE Stadium Qi Wireless Charger.
The Diztronic matte TPU case works too
Supcase beetle (black with frost center) and new wisdom qi sticker and Nokia fatboy 3 coil qi charger.. NO issues here

I've got the Spigen Slim Armor case, with a generic wireless sticker and have no issues with wireless charging with either my Itian 3 coil charger or generic puck.
Youd have better answers to the question, "which dont don't work with qi".
Because most will

Interesting. I have the Diztronic case you're talking about and the same charger, but a Yootech receiver. It works fine without the case but won't charge with the case. I've also tried the first version of the Samsung charging pad and it's the same result so I guess I can call it the receiver.

I have no problems using the CHOE Stadium Qi Wireless Charger with the Diztronic case either. I purchased my QI wireless sticker from ebay. Shipped from china or something, not sure on brand.
Any leather back-cover (like the original one) that works with QI charging WITHOUT needing to make the "sticker modification" to the shell?
If not, what is in Your opinion the best wireless QI charging sticker for LG G4?
Thx!
/timo
this combo did NOT work: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NWMI07S with http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V51QOXA. its VERY finiky
I have the Spigen LG G4 Neo Hybrid Case - works perfectly with a wireless charging back ... charges quick and doesn't heat up.

As far as I know there is no official leather cover with qi. Nevertheless you can buy some from china with attached sticker.
I've attached a sticker on my own leather cover and it worked approx. 2 days perfect. But since then no connection and I wasn't able to fix.
Qi charging lg g4
I just cut the front door off a quick circle case and put g4 in a bumper case. Works fine. Better than messing with qi stickers
i got one of these..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151745479...49&var=450942342923&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT works perfect surprisingly and only £7
I have a Otter Commuter case https://www.amazon.com/OtterBox-Com...8&qid=1464832541&sr=8-4&keywords=otter+box+g4 works fine and very heavy duty, dropped many times with no problem for phone. 2 pieces.

Did you guys order anything in preparation for the new device?

Talking about screen protectores, cases, cables, adapters, anything .
I'm kinda waiting for Zagg or any other high quality company to start selling stuff for the Nexus 5X.
Ordered a Cruzerlite case and spigen tempered glass screen protector
I just ordered the spigen tempered glass protector, but I am getting one of the adopted cases from the Google store.
I ordered the case from the play store. The black one. Not sure the name but it looks like its fuzzy on the back. Also a usb-c to usb-a wire from play store for $12.99. Still thinking about screen protector. What's the consensus? Is it gonna lay flat or what? Lol. I haaate the nexus 6 situation with the halo effect.
I didn't hear any mention of a curved screen so it should be fine
Are the tempered glass protectors that much better? I've never used one, always just gone with the sticky film type screen protectors, but wouldn't mind trying something new.

Would also love to hear an answer for this, I always go bare-glass, but I'm ready to be told that my ways are wrong.
I'll never go without tempered glass.. My phone has fallen face first a few times and it broke the tempered glass screen protector and the screen underneath was perfect still
Anybody hear of any good body wraps that are clear. I just need protection without hiding the phone. I kind of don't want to cover this phone up with a case

Ordered a case and USB C to A cable set, combined price of $28.98 for four cables and a .5mm TPU case. check Amazon for these:
- Orzly® Multi-Colour Value Pack of USB 2.0 Type C (USB-C) to Type A (USB-A) Cables
- Nexus 5X Case, Nexus 5 2nd Gen Case, REDShield® [Clear] Slim & Flexible Anti-shock Crystal Silicone TPU Skin Protective Cover for Google Nexus 5X /Nexus 5 2nd Gen 2015
Not sure about the case though... anyone used REDShield ones before?

If you're not careful with your phone (or just have bad luck) then glass is the way to go. The glass protectors are 9H, so really scratch resistant. I'll be going bare since there will be no ridges when gliding my finger across the edges of the screen

Same here. Plus, they feel silky smooth compared to a film.

I've used tempered glass on my G3 and M9 both with TPU cases. No issues here.
I will be getting one for my 5X when it arrives.
Some USB-C to USB-A cables and a screen protector.
No case, I prefer "nearly naked" - so I'm going to wait for somebody to put out a good quality skin. I have a black leather skin from Slickwraps on my Nexus 5, I think I'll go the same way with the N5x.
I tried a tempered glass screen protector on the N5 earlier this year, and it cracked after about a month. Same thing happened to a tempered glass protector I had on my Nikon camera. No tempered glass for me.

The Qualcomm Quick charge spec is only for Micro USB connector based chargers.
The USB 3.1 Type-C spec includes it's own charging standards, to get the fastest charging we are going to need native Type-C charger. The ones on the Play Store, obviously should be fine. Otherwise I would be very wary of anything that doesn't have a Type-C port on the charger. Even with that most of the third party chargers probably don't conform to the entire Type-C spec yet.
I have not seen a car charger yet that I have any sort of confidence in providing fast charge capability.
