Flash Stock ROM

Can I use TWRP flash stock ROM ?
Thanks
No you can't. It'll brick your phone. But there's a custom TWRP maybe called ZSL or something else which can flash stock ROM and bypass the security option.

The recovery is zcx to be correct. I'd like to say that i already updated miui rom with twrp, all i did was downloading recovery rom from miui site and use the updater app included in miui rom. The only downside is i lost twrp and root but flash them after upgrade and everything was back to normal!!

Firmware to flash custom roms

Do i need any of oneplus firmware to flash a custom rom ( for example freedomos) or firmware are only required to flash lineageos?
Usually the recommended FW is in the ROM OP. You can get the flashable zip of the required FW on XDA. Flash it, reboot back to Recovery, and Flash the ROM.
For example which firmware i have to flash for the latest nougat freedomos?

FreedomOS is based on stock ROM, so, firmware is included in package, you don't have to deal with it.
Perfect, thanks a lot.

Not booting Android Oreo

Flashed stock rom, flashed different versions of twrp.
But the same stuck on logo after flashing every Oreo rom.
Want to taste but can't, somebody's got any solution?
May be an issue of recovery. Try with twrp 3.1.1-3 from below link.

Only 8.1 ROMs are not booting. also tried with this recovery and also with mine ported one. But nothing works
i also had the same problem.we need to patch the boot image after flashing the roms provided by daniel hk sir
preform a clean flash{wipe internal storage}
flash supersu 2.82 after flashing the rom
it will work for sure
i got it working on my phone
Can you give me that patched boot image.
How to patch?

few questions

If i want to flash MIUI rom via twrp should i flash the fastboot rom or recovery rom ? Also do i need to flash lazy flasher after that, what is the purpose of LF after all? And lastly will i get OTA updates on flashed rom or manually update it ? oh and ill be going for miui 10 any suggestions for kernel to prolong battery ?
TWRP is custom recovery and that's what recovery ROM are for and fastboot ROM are for flashing via fastboot.
Yes, you'll get updates. But make sure to use correct recovery because some recovery won't be able flash update and instead you'll have to dirty flash the whole ROM.
MIUI already has best battery optimization, imo you don't need to flash any custom kernel but if you want to then you can. I haven't used MIUI since June so can't tell which kernel will fit perfect for your need.
Here is information about lazy flasher

Question Flashing roms with TWRP

Has anyone here tried flashing miui recovery rom using the newly developed TWRP for Mi 11 and succeeded? I want to know if i can flash stable beta roms through this TWRP, but i read some people said cant flash roms yet. I know that we can do it through MiFlash but if we can do it through this TWRP it will be one step closer to flashing custom recovery roms
