My Monarch case for my Note 8 is shipping! I'll see if i can give a quick review once i get it in my hands. Looks awesome on the site:

Update 1: Sorry guys I've been so busy of late I completely forgot about this post. On the positive side it gives me more time with the case. If you've had a UAG case in the past the Monarch is just a better built version of their previous cases. It looks fantastic, it feels great, it's not a fingerprint magnet like I was fearing, and it's thin and light. I don't know how UAG will handle the 10 year warranty if there is ever a need to take advantage of it but it seems sturdy enough to last at least 2 years. I can take pictures of the device at a later time but like all of the UAG cases it fits like a glove.
I won't be applying a screen protector until I find one with little to no complaints. My note5 did fine in the 2 years without one and I don't see a big need for one with even better glass.

Just got my Monarch and I love it

Would love a in depth review of the Monarch on the Note 8. Thinking of switching to UAG from Otterbox and would appreciate having more info before doing so.

Love UAG cases but will need to confirm it works with Dome Glass. I saw a couple videos where they test various cases with Dome Glass but did not see this one reviewed.

I believe I saw somewhere that you need to put on your Dome Glass perfectly in-order for the UAG cases to work. Not 100% though

The question is which screenprotector he is using?! In general you're right. None of the glasses i've tried worked with the plasma. Atm i'm using a wet installed conventional screen protector.

The Note 8 Plasma cases are tempered glass killers and that's a fact.

recieved my case now.. its bit loose at the bottom
I have a plyo and it's a bit loose at the bottom. I think it's because the large cutout for the Spen that weakens that area.
Just received my Monarch in Red/Black and I love it! Probably my favorite case ever, I only wish the all black one was available.

No I don't have a skin and I don't use a screen protector, sorry.

I'm torn between the two, spigen's wallet feature interests me, but the case doesn't look as tough as UAG

amFilm for example isn't working. Returned it.
I want to order this case but want to make sure it's works well with glass screen protector.
works for me with minimal modification, it takes less than 5 min for a perfect fit

understandable, just showing the option and what it would involve/look like... from what i've seen the other protectors aren't as good due to them not having the curved protector and screen. i drive for ups on a rural route and constantly have to deal with dust from dirt roads, this was just my best option if i wanted to use that uag case. happy hunting and if you find a good one followup and let me know about it

Understood. I love the UAG case but don't want to alter it to make it fit. Had the same issues with the Note 7. I am currently using the sup case. It works well with the zizo glass screen protector. It had similar to UAG protection.

The UAG Monarch fits the whitestone dome according to a video review on youtube. You must get the screen protector absolutely centered but it does appear to work in the video review. Same review shows that the uag plasma does not work.
What about the plyo series?
I'll be rocking both a Plasma and a Monarch depending on activity and I'm looking forward to finding a TGSP that works, too. I plan to use IQShield in the meantime.
Unfortunately the Spigen Neo film for the note 8 doesnt work with the UAG Plasma.. ended up trashing one of the films trying to make it fit.. the film was too thick and corners were too long to fit in the plasma..
The generic full coverage TG I ordered had the same issue.. I think its really the corners of the case that make it difficult to find screen protection for this case..

Yes, it seems like more protectors fit the Monarch but not the Plasma. I wonder if a case friendly IQ Shield would work fine. I have the Plasma already but am still waiting on both the screen protector and the phone.

I had a rural route awhile back when I was in package car at UPS so I understand your pain.
I've had 2 Zaags glass ones. There cap. Sensitivity is an issue as well as 2 have cracked. Phones been never dropped. I keep my phone separated with nothing else in my pockets

Ended up getting this.. a bit skeptical but its better than nothing for now I guess.. Didnt want to change my UAG Plasma at the moment so I guess this should do for now to prevent hairline scratches i guess..
Does anyone use Ringke case for Poco f1? How was it and does it have edge at the front to protect the front screen?
it feels good a bit bulky though but premium, yes it has screen bumps on whole top and bottom sides and smaller bump on left and right doesn't cause any issue with full-screen gestures, screen won't touch the table when you put the screen side on it. I am planning to get dark camo skin under it as soon as it's available on mi store..

I'm currently using spigen.
It started to get losses and there are some marks on my phone back body caused by spigen case.
Can't remove the marks with alcohol or eraser. So disappointed.
Been using my ringke case since I got my phone last January. Very well protected, I'm surprised there are still no scratches on my phone when I remove it from the case to clean dirt. Also had an experience where the phone fell 8 feet from the ground, no damage on the phone and the case

I've been testing some cases for the poco, the ultra slim tpu that came in the vox was the first one haha, but my first case was the ringe fusion x, i have a nillkin super frosted shield (i have used that same model in my old moto z and nexus 4), a sillicone case like the iphone ones, a tpu case, a hybrid case (hard plastic and tpu) and many others, i always come back to my ringke case...
I am using ringke case for my Poco f1 and believe me its really amazing cover.. i feel best ever cover for Poco f1. It gives nice grip and protects my phone for accidentally fall. I can easily use tempered glass with ringke fusion x cover . No issues happened with tempered glass due to ringke fusion x cover. I can also use phone without tempered glass because ringke fusion x cover provides the phone full protection all around the phone.
Ringke fusion X is the best I can get my hands on.
I used to use Nillkin frosted shield too. It does nothing for my tempered glass protector. My 2 tempered glass broke in 2 weeks each.
Quite satisfied with my Ringke fusion X, other than my shabby cut out for SIM adapter.

If you care about protecting your phone and having a better grip, get a case. If you care about looks and a small footprint, get a skin.
I'm using both. Skin and case. I want to see phone in the perfect condition after months or year.

Yes, I too like to keep my phone in mint condition without any scratches or cracks, what brand you're using, and how is it?
Skins you can get it from Gadgetshieldz, I was using it on my OnePlus 10 pro and the quality is good. I'm planning to get one for the Pixel 7 too so I'll send some images soon!

Can't recommend a skin as I don't use them, but I like the Caseology Athlex case I'm using. Caseology Parallax is also good. Spigen cases are also good.

Why a MagSafe case for a Pixel phone?
I got the phone skins on my Pixel 7 applied and it looks good! The skin's quality is good and I've used this on my previous phone too, it sticks well and I like the new look of my phone!

Apparently, I did not do any break tests. Those you can find on Youtube.
