About Team win recovery project
TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by roughly 4 people at this point. We also have a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices either through our IRC channel or on forums like xda-developers.
Team Win was originally formed to work on porting WiMAX to CM7 for the HTC EVO 4G. After our work on the EVO 4G we wanted to work on a project that would work on more devices than just the EVO 4G and we settled on working on a recovery. Today TWRP is the leading custom recovery for Android phones.

Did TWRP shows you a pattern to unlock your storage when you booted in it (that is the key to unlock storage)? if not then you are pretty much unable to do any operation that require reading or writing to your storage. It could be something else though.

Pls don't listen to OldNoobOne, hes wrong. Odin tarfile won't care as long as u use patcheD odin. So all nsxx should work on nnxx. Even if it doesn't boot you can just hard reboot and reflash working.

it seems like it doesn't work with prebuilt kernel. try kenzo-inline version if you need battery level in recovery
I confirm that battery level works with inline version, on a kenzo with newer battery controller (the one that many kernels/ROMs have 50%/-2% problem with).
Thank you for this recovery.

Please we will like this one A520.
Thanks.
Nice Work Astrako!
With this recovery my internal formatted SD card is now recognised in recovery.
In latest twrp my SD card was only shown when formated as portable.
Thanks a lot!
Hello and thanks for your work. Is this recovery compatible with your H-ROM S9 port 2.0 ?

There is no need to repeat this process. It must be done only once. After you make new partions, all installation scripts can only format it. None of them would mess up your disk partion, so there would be need to flash repartion script again.

Thanks for the info. Same for me, had to remove my adoptable storage to be able to flash any zip files via TWRP. No I switched to OrangeFox aswell so I hopefully no longer need to do that.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

UPDATING THE ROM:
Unless I say the opposite in the update announcement, this ROM can be updated using by two steps:
1. OTA update method
- SystemSettings
- Update system
- Download new version
- let the system do everything by itself
2. the dirty flash method.
In order to do so, follow these steps:
-Download the new version of the ROM you are using (microG/vanilla)
-Reboot into recovery: adb reboot recovery
-DO NOT CLICK ON FACTORY RESET / WIPE DATA
-Flash the Zip-File of the new ROM: adb sideload rom.zip
Hi, Great, thanks a lot for releasing LineageOS for this phone!!
Would it be possible to add a build without gapp?
Greetings seven
EDIT:
Hey,
Have tested today, installed with their OrangeFox recovery build, Boots not, endless the Linage logo.
Thanks, that sucks
Edit:
Finally Solved with your Revovery.img + Instructions,
It was not possible to avoid the formatting.
This is what I have been waiting for, finally some development!!
Finally something pleasing for this phone. Here're offficial LineageOS device sources for Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G / Mi 10T Lite / Mi 10i, the phones use the same SoC as ours. Maybe it could help to improve your code.

I always used opengapps in the past. Recently i started using microg for better battery life and little to no tracking.

Look at this well made guide. Follow all the steps and you'll have a fully working microg install.
I'm glad to see there's active development for this device. Thanks for that.
I was looking into sources and noticed there's TARGET_CPU_VARIANT_RUNTIME = kryo385 (cortex A75 and A55) in boardconfigcommon.mk file but Snapdragon 750G is kryo570 which is cortex A77 and A55.

Will this work on Star?
@for developers - Could you make a fastboot installation script of the whole ROM and all components? So that the first installation takes place automatically just by running a script in fastboot.
MIUI EU rom had such a script. The first installation was complete just by running the fastboot script. Then the second script to install TWRP. Easy for everyone. After that, the rom update is already in progress in TWRP.
Thank you in advance for your reply.

Are there any gcam which offer same quality for ultra?
@Flower Sea would you be per chance willing to try to integrate miui cam for start as a test? I'd test it out if need be...
I am a Elixir user on Redmi Note 9 Pro miatoll.
This is sweet. As I understand, there is no build for Xiaomi 11 Pro mars on Lineage OS. Which brings me to 2 questions:
1. How are you enabling this device when Lineage OS doesn't have it listed
2. I'm currently on Mi 12 Pro zeus and wondering if Elixir will be available for my device.
