Volume fader adjustments in M20 (Sound Assistant) - Samsung Galaxy M20 Questions & Answers

I always used "Samsung Sound Assistant" app to adjust volume fader skips.
Originally, a single click of a volume botton (physical volume botton) changes by 7 (0 to 7 to 14 to 21 and so on.) But my headphones' impedence (resistance) is quite low and volume 7/100 is still big for me. So I used the app to adjust fader to 1 (0 to 1 to 2 to 3 and so on) on my other Galaxy phones.
However, Galaxy M20 doesn't support this app. Samsung support clarified that they don't support.
Does any one know solutions for this? (Modified sound assistant app, debug maybe?)
Samsung Sound Assistant App (M20 is not supported)
galaxystore.samsung.com/detail/com.samsung.android.soundassistant
Model: Samsung Galaxy M20 (SM-M205N)

You actually can install sound assistant.
Check this if your device is rooted
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-m20/themes/guide-how-to-install-lock-apps-t4001017
If not rooted there's still a way but it's less likely to work
1.install app warden
2.install sai
3.download sound assistant apk and install it using sai
4.check what permissions the app needs using warden and grant them via adb
Ik this guide could've been more clear but I'm kinda busy rn and wanted to help you out as soon as possible. I'll make a more detailed one if i have the time.
You can install some other good lock apps using this method

Try AnkuLua

Hi,
you can check out 123Autoit:
ROOT version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.autoit&hl=en
NON ROOT Version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.autoit.nonroot&hl=en
NON ROOT Version for android 4.4 or under: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.autoit.nonroot.legacy&hl=en
This is a really old post but a good workaround for autoclicking on non rooted devices.
Requires PC.
Install remote support software for android such as bombgar on your pc, run and link remote support too your device.
Set an autoclicker on your pc to click your device through remote support.
Voilà autoclickin away.
Hello guys I search for a macro program for android such as repetititouch but I must be undetectable by games I tried many different ways to bypass but I can't bypass it! The game I want to have macro on is fishing superstars by Gamevil
The thing I want to do is record a swipe so I can do FTF which is a way to reel in the fish!
Hope this is the right forum and that someone could have a workaround for this!
Really good work here on XDA
I'll +1 the HiroMacro app.. almost 100 clicks per second and you can edit the script with a simple language..

I hope for the same.
They have one for the Galaxy Note 2.
I come from a blackberry where it's a stock function, i used to have it on my nokia N97 also so i'm kinda used to it, so it would be nice if someone could help me out and make me happy!
No one?
Try an app called eXperience Pro. Can be found in the Play Store, need to be rooted tho.
Okay i'll try, thanks! I am rooted so that won't be a problem or else i wouldn't be asking for a mod here
Edit: it is a paid app and i don't have a creditcard...
I found it!
I used the Xposed module "TweakBox" and it works perfectly!
Only when screen is locked though, but that's fine for me
You got a link?
Did a search and just found one for a Galaxy s3 or something.
Phil
Yes thats the one, you gotta install it and then check the settings. I think miscelanious

You have to install the xposed framework first
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
then reboot then install the tweakbox thing
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
then set it up and then go to xposed app and in the modules tab mark the tweakbox and reboot.
It only works when screen is off

There is a trial in that thread. I have been using that app for years, and it has been working great on all devices, but I haven't installed it on my N6 yet.
Thanks for the link mate bit too much for my wallet but cheers for the heads up

It is expensive. I've also used it for years on many different devices. I think it used to be cheaper than it is now but if I had to buy it again at full price, I would. It has a lot of options to ensure there is always a way to get the best compatibility with which ever device I get next. Its always had the most consistent audio quality of any of the other recorders I've tried.
I can't recommend this enough. Try the trial. Then try some other apps.

Settings and app for the Nexus 6 (when the app asks to set SELinux to permissive, select no because there's no need for that):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56397550&postcount=4
On Lollipop 5.1 the app force closes after a phone call but it still records the phone call (worked perfectly on 5.0.2). The developer has promised to fix the FC issue.

Proper fingerprint navigation gestures

Hello, so I've been looking into OneUI although I don't currently have the phone and saw fingerprint gestures for notifications. Was wondering if there may be some sort of magisk module to enable swipe left to go back, right to go home and up for recents. I currently use this module that achieves this on the OP5T. Thanks

Well you don't have to root your device, or use magisk etc.to achieved this function.
Use a Samsung app
"One hand operation +"
You can download standalone apk from ApkMirror website. (trusted site)
I think it could also be bundled, in the Samsung Good lock app available in the
Samsung App Store
Plse note,
This app, is only available in certain selected Samsung App Stores .
Just install and configure how you want to.
See screenshots for an idea.
Good luck

Thank you for letting me know about this app. Sounds very useful and just like what I'm looking for. I see from your screenshots there was the right quick swipe for going home but was there an option to go back with a left swipe? Thank you?
Oh just looked at your screenshot again. That app seems to be just for swiping on the screen and not swiping on the fingerprint sensor

yes that's correct ,
As you stated that you can configure fingerprint action ,to to swipe down , whist using any app etc to check notifications and swipe up to close notifications.
If you want to root your device , you basically going to / stand to loose , most of your security features etc .banking apps ,maybe Samsung Health , no OTA 's etc ,
on your device ,apart from tripping Knox and possibility of voiding your warranty .!
I used to root most of my previous devices ,
but with latest Samsung Note series eg Note 8 ,Note 9 etc its just not worth it !
You stand to loose access to certain quality functions .
Unless you have a very very good reason ,i advise you not to root .!
You will find that most functions you "crave " for you can either find a work around or that a ADB function should do the trick !!
Also note Samsung One Hand Operation + gestures, works in all apps
good luck

Yes i agree, but in relation to the ringtone sound level it makes it more convinient. You can even adjust the level by using multiple files. But did google already "fixed" this since version Kit Kat?
Try Sound Profile by Corcanoe in Play Store.
Ready for Android 12.
Sound Profile (Volume control) - Apps on Google Play
Control phone volume for calls and notifications separately.
