recommendation bluetooth keyboard for SamsungDex - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Accessories

I will like some assistance looking to get a bluetooth keyboard without the receiver so that I'm able to pair up with the phone and be able to use it with Dex on my TV.

Hi! I use a Logitech Multi-Device K380 BT + MX Anywhere mouse 2S

Yeap, it is a good one.

I've been using the Logitech K850 Multi-Device with mouse. A little bit more expensive than the K380. The keyboard takes 2 AAA batteries and the mouse takes 1 AA battery. Finally had to change them out after a year of heavy usage. It does come with a Unifying receiver. There are feet on the keyboard to raise it up slightly. The mouse can be used on most surfaces and is very responsive. I can easily switch between my Note 20 Ultra, Laptop, and Raspberry Pi. Highly recommend if you can find one.

I’m attempting to use this exact same setup but am not able to pair the keyboard. Whenever I try it finds the keyboard, asks me to type a code on it and when I’m half way through says that there was an error. Mouse has paired fine, have tried in wireless and wired Dex and also with/without mouse being paired.
Any ideas?

Any confirmed working BT keyboards?
My trusty Think Outside BT keyboard that has sync'ed with every phone I've had in the last 4-5 years doesn't work. Gutted.
I need a keyboard for this thing!
Any help links advice appreciated.

That's strange, because my iGo (Think Outside) bluetooth keyboard works fine. Didn't even need to install the Think Outside software or drivers - just put the keyboard in discover mode, phone picked it right up, assigned the HID profile, and voila - works grand!
Well waddya know! Don't have any of the shortcut functionality or command and function options but its working as a basic keyboard. Thanks robertlewisca! Never thought of that!
Quite expensive and big solution, the Logitech DiNoVo Mini.
I've bought it for my computer but it also works on the HD2

How did you pair it...?
Does Logitec diNovo Mini works on HD2? I checked the official website of Logitec and don't see it would work on Windows Mobile. Kindly tell me and confirm if it works on HD2 and teach me how to pair. Thanks!
Apple wireless (bluetooth) keyboard works on HD2

To let you know, just used apple's wireless keyboard and it works perfectly !
I was able to outperform the Cootek Touchpal (software)-keyboard , which usually works pretty fast if you know how it works!
hope this helps! perhaps you could try it yourself in the apple stores XD
WORKING EXTERNAL KEYBOARDS ON HD2:
+ Apple Wireless Keyboard
+ Logitech DiNoVo Mini (confirmed by Zero Masamune )
Apple
Apple wireless BT keyboards (newer types) do not work! It pairs OK, everything looks OK, connected and all but - no typing. Unfortunately. I do have a Stowaway foldable, works perfect, although shortcuts do not function (none). Fortunately all others keys do, as with my last HD keys were mixed up sometimes (UK/US/NL problems)
So which BT keybard would you recommend for HD2?
And does the embeded touchpad/trackpoint work with HD2 as well?

I also got the Logitech DiNoVo Mini connected with my HD2. However, the mouse pad function not working on HD2. Only can use the mouse pad for up, down, left and right movement.
Are there any others? Im thinking of getting a BT keyboard
My ThinkOutside BT folding slimline works a charm... Some of the keys take a while to 'warm up' before they'll work 100% but I've been using this thing since I got my Tungsten T3 so it's kinda understandable.
Anyone get bluethooth mouse connected on HD2? Or I need to install third party software before HD2 can connected with bluetooth mouse?
hi,
looks like the hd2 dosent like bt mice, my advantage do work well with 2 of them, the hd2 wont. keyboards i tested til now are the freedom universal 2 and the think outside stowaway. both working well for basic keys, but support only english 'qwerty' keyboard layout and no spezial language chars like german 'ÄÖÜß'.

By that do you mean. "p, backspace, enter, delete" don't work for a while??
I noticed this on my Stowaway and I thought it was faulty hardware and I was gutted. First time I paired with 1.43 it worked like a charm for about a week, then those keys stopped working.. it may have had something to do with flashing to 1.48, but after some repeated hammering and opening and closing of the keyboard they start working, sluggishly and then they are okay.
I thought it was a problem with my (admittedly ancient) Think Outside Stowaway BT keyboard.
Nice to know its not that!!
I read on another thread that a company were working on drivers to make full use of the winmo shortcut keys again..

Confirmed working with Freedom Universal Keyboard, old one I picked up off ebay for my Kaiser. And even better, no playing around with drivers and codes. Paired straight up!

X7500 Advantage has MS BT Stack, HD2 (like TP2) has Widcomm BT stack that don't recognize BT mouse as BT "Profile".....so.....
we hope for a developer's release of a MicroSoft Bluetooth Stack for our device.

why is it not made a keyboard that you can attach to your mobile phone through the usb port? it would have been fine with a keyboard of the same quality as what was on the qtek 9000 or is it allready made?
I'm using a HP iPAQ branded BT foldable keyboard and it works perfectly. I guess it is really a Stowaway Keyboard but I'm not 100% sure.
It folds out to an almost full size keyboard and has a nice retractable stand in the rear of the left half (the rear of the right half is occupied by a compartment for two rechargeable AAA-batteries).

HD2 paired with Logitech Dinovo Edge Bluetooth Keyboard

Hey,
today I thought I have to try something new. When i saw my HD2 lie on my bluetooth Keyboard I just had to give it a try. So I paired the HD2 with a Logitech Dinovo Edge keyboard.
For first impression just watch the linked video on youtube i made:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l9GckkXzSw
It is kinda possible to control the HD2 with the keyboard. Some commands wont work with the keyboard arrows, some do.
It is possible to assign keyboard keys to Morphgear and FPSECE but they wont work in game. May somehow it would work since the keys are assigned.
Enjoy this one
BTW: its german layout qwertz keyboard but the HD2 takes it as a wwe qwerty keyboard so at the end of the video you see me having some trouble writing a ""
How do I go about pairing my diNovo Edge with the Leo?
I didn't even know the diNovo used Bluetooth, I thought since it came with a USB dongle it was USB.
Nice what kind of cradle do you have there?

i like it too what is it?
hey, yes the dinovo is a bluetooth keyboard ... i dont even use the logitech bluetooth dongle because i dont like the size of it.
Well, the cradle is the battery charging station for the bluetooth keyboard
Leo kinda fits in there but its connected nowhere just used it for the video.
I'm using the USB receiver since I use my Bluetooth for audio, not sure it could do both at the same time.
How do I go about putting the diNovo in pairing mode?
turn your keyboard upside down and press the connect button then look for available bt devices on your HD2
Incredible feature! Did any user who have bluetooth keyboard have tried this on Touch HD?
I saw this at WMPU.. good stuff ...
That's fun!
I just tried it on my HTC Elf and it works! Even when I turn off the screen.
I bet the iPad can do this too... oh wait, it probably can't, seeing as how Apple have their own overpriced keyboard/dock for it.
pairing a LG touch
just tried to pair my LG Touch with no success, the device does show up in my listing fully described, it asks for a passcode which i entered 0000, and it tries to pair and eventually fails....i wonder if you all are pairing because you are using HTC products.....which will be fine being the im due for my HTC Evo 4G next week.... WOOHOO!
Do you think a
Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/keyboards/keyboard/devices/3616
would work ?
Works with Logitech MX5500
Done and confirmed to work with Logitech MX5500 Keyboard
WOW amazing!
I've had a logitech dinovo edge for 4 years, and I always thought the bluetooth capability was somehow proprietary(even though thinking about it that doesn't make sense if it's labeled bluetooth) I just tried it out and it works pretty well, though when typing messages it starts to lag when i type too fast. I wish though it could take advantage of all the other inputs on the kbd like the trackpad.
HD2 bluetooth keyboard works great
I bought a mini bluetooth keyboard on [email protected] and it works great with my HD2.
It makes typing txt-msgs with my giant fingers easy.
It was only $34. Model wkb-1500
Can anyone shed some light on this? I have a Nexus One, stock 2.2.1 ROM and a DiNovo Edge. I can pair the keyboard with the phone but then I get "Paired but not Connected" in the bluetooth device listing. When I click on it there is no response, only the option to unpair.
Thoughts? Thanks!
also working : DiNovo Mini !!
Hello! i would also tell u that the diNovo Mini Keyboard is compatible to Leo. I'm using this little keyboard since 1 year and i am very happy with it. I can put it in my pocket too.... and the accu of it is very powerful (along 2 weeks of using every day)....
only the mediaplayer doesnt work with the buttons (i use strg + ...).
and the price : uuuuhhh a lil bit too much ;D
on the pics u can see how small it is... (cant compare with leo cause i shot the pics with him )

This response is over a week late, but if you get this, I hope it helps.
After pairing:
Download BlueKeyboard JP or Blue Input Demo from Market. After you install either of these programs, go into Settings>Language&Keyboard and check the box next to the program name (either BlueKeyboard JP or Blue Input). Go into the program's settings menu (should be right underneath it in the list). For BlueKeyboard JP, it'll ask you to select your keyboard and input type/style (e.g., US QWERTY), among other things. For Blue Input Demo, it'll allow you to search for your keyboard. Just search and choose it when it pops up on screen.
Last thing, change your input method. For example, if you want to use your keyboard to type a text message, open up the text messaging program. In any of the textbox where the text goes, press and hold your finger on the screen until a menu pops up with "Input Method" in it. Select it and choose the program you just downloaded (Blue Keyboard/Blue Input) in the menu. Your BT keyboard should now work.
I used Blue Input Demo on my HD2 with the diNovo Edge and found that it's better than BlueKeyboard JP. Give it a try and let me know if it works.

Nook hd - recomendations cheap blue tooth gps and mouse

hi, got my keyboard sorted out but can anyone recommend a cheap blue tooth gps and mouse for the nook hd. preferable available in th uk.
thanks/
I'm curious because I'm looking for keyboard and mouse. What keyboard was your choice and why?
I've been using my Motorola Bluetooth keyboard. A couple of the shortcut keys don't work but other then that it works quite well. As to why, because I already owned it.
I haven't tried a Bluetooth mouse yet. Might have to look for one.
I have an old GPS puck as well that is working nicely. You will need a program for the Nook to see the GPS puck. I have been using Bluetooth GPS Provider and it works perfectly.
I bought this one , it was reasonably cheap to try as it was more or less the same as the cost of a case at that time

MS Bluetooth Mouse 5000 in-store coupon, Staples, $14.99
Ran across an online coupon for Staples, in-store only and good through June 15, 2013. Purchased the Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse 5000 for $14.99.

Device paired easily and works. I used 0000 as the PIN which was suggested by the Nook software. BUT the wheel operates backwards from what I'm used to, because I'm old school mouse-wheel-wise. The cursor is tiny.

I have the Microsoft BT keyboard 6000 which pairs perfectly with my Nook HD plus... now looking for a BT mouse... will try the 5000...
rec'd my MS BT mouse 5000... paired perfectly the first time. Other than the cursor being TEENY on the screen... once you know you're looking for a VERY SMALL blue arrow, the cursor is easy to find... the 5000 is an ideal match for the Nook HD +. Got the nook, got the keyboard, got the mouse... I'm ready for travel. Thanks for all the tips!

I've been thinking about getting a bluetooth keyboard and mouse to use with my HD+, but I'm also wondering what the real advantages are. Would it help me with editing in QPython and AIDE?
Thanks,

I use the microsoft bluetooth mouse and logitech android keyboard when I have detailed editing to do (mainly HTML, CSS, javascript with Jota+ editor) and have also used with Kingsoft Office. For me that works out better than one or two-fingering it when I'm coding or editing copy. YMMV.
I personally consider editing in QPython with the onscreen keyboard to be painful, so I've been using Visual Studio on my Win7 box to edit the Python files before porting them over to the Nook. I even got Kivy working with Visual Studio on Win7.
Do you consider using the keyboard and mouse an enjoyable experience?
Somebody in a thread somewhere linked to a "ThinkPad Compact Bluetooth Keyboard With TrackPoint", which looks pretty cool.
Cheers,
Dave\Esotic
I was able to use an app on my Galaxy Nexus phone to have it export it's GPS data over bluetooth.
[search for GPS 2 Bluetooth v.4 - by cajax on Google play - I can't post links yet]
I'm sure it's not as good as a dedicated GPS, but it's free and seemed to work fine in a short test I made today.
With that and foxfii tethering on my phone, google maps on the nook is sweet.
EDIT: I used this to and from work today (30-40 miles) and it performed flawlessly. Wish I could say as much for foxfi tethering - but that's unrelated.

Logitech android keyboard and logitech t630 mouse

Guys, I have a Logitech Tablet Keyboard for Android (http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-920-003390-Tablet-Keyboard-Android/dp/B0054L8N7M), and planning to buy Logitech bluetooth ultrathin (http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Ultrathin-Touch-Windows-Gestures/dp/B00DR8LA6U)..
I heard both are reviewed splendidly, but I don't find the review about how they perform in the same time..
I heard some problems regarding using bluetooth mouse and bluetooth keyboard (some, not all of them) at the same time, but is there anybody tried using both of this product in the same time?
I'm running android 4.4, rooted.

Best wireless controller for Remix Mini

Hi,
I would ask you, what wireless controller are you using with Remix Mini?
Actually, I'm planning to buy the new MeLE F10 BT a Flymouse which looks really well. I'm using Remix as Smart TV, so I don't want to plug a traditional keyboard and mouse. What are your recommendations for a flymouse for Remix Mini?
Thanks!

Can't say about that specific one ( I think, but since it seems so many of these are identical hardware, I may have it) but I have found that within each model some work great, some work great for a while, some work not so great for not so long. Just get ready to keep sending it back till you get one that works.
Oh, IMPORTANT, don't skip the step about calibrating it by setting it down on surface and pressing whichever button it tells you. Not incredibly better, but still helps somewhat.

My Vizio tv controller affects the mini when using Kodi. When we use the tv controller to turn volume down the video starts going backward. Same for the soundbar controller, though a few buttons affect the Mini, pulling up random screens within Kodi. Weird.

yep the vizio remote can control the mini a bit. So you might wanna hide the mini behind something or turn its front around when messing with the vizio remote.

It's gotten worse, maybe with update? Now the up volume button on Vizio or the space bar on Lynec air mouse/keyboard (used as a pause in apps) will send the mini into shut down. Spacebar does it sometimes, sometimes not. Why isn't Jide giving us access to these controls?
